Enjoyed our stay

We absolutely loved staying at this lovely home! The homeowners were beyond exceptional and even personally met us upon our arrival. If we needed anything they responded right away. Great location and we will rent here again when we come back to the farm show 😍😍

Family Getaway

Perfect for a family get away! Close to downtown or a short walk to a strip with plenty of restaurants to accommodate any age. Stayed with my toddlers and everyone enjoyed themselves! The pool was very clean even in the midst of locust season!

Great neighborhood

The house is in a great neighborhood. Very close to a park to run/bike. A lot of great restaurants within walking distance. The house is old but clean with a lot of charm. The owner was great, met us at the house and showed us everything we needed to know.

Beautiful home in convenient neighborhood

We met up with my brother’s family for a weekend in this beautiful home. The four teenage boys thought the loft was the perfect place to stay. There’s a large dining table where we could all sit and eat meals together. The pool hadn’t opened yet, but the backyard still provided a nice place to relax in the sunshine. We loved being able to walk to a coffee shop in the morning. Nice neighbors and gorgeous neighborhood.

Wonderful historic home with pool

We enjoyed our stay at this charming home. Leslie was very helpful and responsive to any questions. Though an old house, the place was comfortable (although you have to be okay climbing stairs and with kind of tight restrooms), with well-appointed, nicely decorated bedrooms with plenty of pillows. The house had all the necessities you might need, even many beach towels to use at the pool. The neighborhood was peaceful but only a couple blocks from Bardstown Road where there are many restaurants and shops.

Nice quiet neighborhood

Excellent historic house in the Highlands area of Louisville. Although our time spent in the house was limited as we were working most hours of the day, the house was still very comfortable and accommodating for all of us. The weather was not conducive to using the backyard and pool but from what i could see I bet it is spectacular in the summer months. All in all the house was exactly as described and Wayne and Leslie were wonderful hosts in making sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Lovely Renovated Victorian Home

Wonderful location with many amenities. Owners were very accommodating and always kept in touch with quick responses when needed. Home was very clean and was exactly as described in the VRBO listing! 5+Stars without a doubt!

Great short vacation

We had a great time in this quiet historic neighborhood. The house was perfect for my golf group (4 adults). It had everything we needed...comfortable bed room, equipped kitchen, a place to play cards (inside and outside), and a pool to cool off after a hot day of golf. Loved it it!

Pool & location - perfect combination for families

Great location!

My family stayed here for a couple of nights during our vacation. The place was just as listed. A little pricey but you are in a great location, very walkable to restaurants, grocery, etc. and there is a pool which provided us entertainment for most of our visit. It was a nice stop along our way.

Perfect for a group stay in Louisville

This is one of the finest VRBO experiences I've ever had. The house is beautiful. The rooms were well apportioned. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The kitchen had all the tools we needed. The grill had a full tank of propane. The pool was clean. The neighborhood was ideal. Communication with the hosts was seamless. Really, there's nothing negative to be said. Thank you!

Early Spring Break

My family spent a week at this property in early April 2022. The host met us at the property to get us acquainted. The property is located in a historic part of Louisville and convenient to many restaurants. There is only street parking available. The house was well stocked and clean and had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay. Only drawback was the limited hot water for 6 people staying. And the wood floors were a bit slippery for kids in socks especially on the stairs. But we enjoyed our stay and only would’ve changed the weather.

Cute 100y Old House

We could tell the property had not been rented in awhile, we had to clean all the dishes before we could use them, and the general deep cleaning of the house was not done, and we had to tighten up some of the furniture to use it as well. Otherwise, our stay was excellent! Great location, very cute house, and we had plenty of room for 7 people. Would absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful visit to Louisville!

We used this Cherokee Triangle for a girls trip to get away and enjoy some uninterrupted time with great friends. The host was wonderful, the house and pool were perfect and the location was an ideal meeting spot.

Family Adventure

Great property for a low key Louisville adventure. The pool and outdoor space made for a wonderful summer vacation. The home’s location was also nice for exploring the city. Highly recommend!

This is a Victorian home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood of tree-lined streets with sidewalks and historic homes side-by-side on every block, just around the corner from one of the most vibrant and popular entertainment districts in Louisville and very close to beautiful Cherokee Park. The house needed a lot of renovation to bring it up to guest-ready, but it was a labor of love...and we love sharing it!
