Waste of time and money

Love Jekyll Island for its beauty. This review is about the rental. It is small but okay for 2 adults and dogs. The kitchen area was - nicely stocked with cookware, dishes,etc. The condo is dark, dank and has the worst furniture and bathroom. The sofa, chair and drapes are straight out of Grandma’s basement. Too low for adults to sit comfortably-same with table and chairs. The bathroom is unsuitable for adults-vanity,sink,toilet all outdated and too low. Shower outdated and uncomfortable. Bed is okay, linens clean and some of the decorative are really cute. No view from the patio-just shrub and brush. Two bad, because this place has such potential.

If anything can be done about the stairs would definitely come back, otherwise thinking of renting elsewhere.

Given the size of the bedroom, there were no closets, so clothes hung on the provided hooks. The two chests of drawers were useful, however. The Villas as a group are a great place to stay. J R's front office staff was very accommodating. Check-in was effortless and the property was available early!

I wrapped myself up to keep warm. Lots to do: riding bikes and playing tennis and playing bridge. Only issue was the unit was very dark.

Everywhere we go, people have a different idea about what clean is. I would rather talk to the realtor about this, because I realize it is hired out & not the fault of them or the owner.
