À 7500 m d'altitude, notre Heavenly Mountain Retreat est la maison de vacances que vous voudrez visiter encore et encore dans la région de South Lake Tahoe. Nous sommes à distance de marche des remontées mécaniques de Boulder et Stagecoach, du côté de la montagne Nevada.

À quelques minutes des casinos et du lac Tahoe et de nombreux sentiers de randonnée à proximité. Un grand bar sportif et grill appelé le Fox and Hound propose le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner et le dîner à proximité.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. I liked the large countertop in the kitchen area and a large table to dine on. I enjoyed using the grill utensils and large cutting board. Great overall. Would definitely stay for a snowboarding trip.

Great Spot for Ski trip

Great spot for our Tahoe ski trip! The house comfortably fit our group of 10, with plenty of space and a cozy vibe. It had everything we needed—well-equipped kitchen, comfy living area, and a great location close to the slopes. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location and Everything We Needed!

We had a wonderful stay. This was the perfect vacation rental for a weekend at Heavenly. The host had great communication and went above and beyond on accommodations to include a nice welcome packet in advance. The property was in the perfect location and close to everything we needed. Check-in, parking, and checkout was seamless. 10/10 will stay here again!

First time using VRBO

Our host, Michael, was very prompt in responding to my questions being new to VRBO. Easy access to and from the lake, shops, restaurants, etc. Accommodations for all 12 of us worked perfectly! The stairs proved more challenging than anticipated, but we certainly got our steps in! Because of the stairs, both inside and out, and lack of a play area for children, I feel this property would be more suitable for adults and those with older children.I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great place for a ski trip

I booked this for a ski trip with friends and it was perfect for us-very close to the lifts on the Nevada side. Owner checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The place is set up well for a group. We had a great time and the house was exactly as advertised and what we were looking for.

Well equipped cozy place near Heavenly

This place exceeded our expectations on how well it was equipped: coffee, board games, and cooking equipment were much better than many other vacation rentals. This is a great place to book if you're looking for the most possibe beds. The living area is a bit small (as are the rooms) but ultimately it is great for a trip of many friends.

Lots of games to have fun. Full kitchen to make dinners in. Gréât wifi speed and heat works great. The view was also amazing.

Great place for friends and family

Our group enjoyed the stay. The place was clean and comfort, there was plenty of space for our group. Everything we needed was included. We were able to cook dinner the first night then took a short drive to town the following day. Michael was responsive to all our questions before out trip and made great suggestions on local areas to check out.

An Unforgettable Group Stay in Tahoe!

My group of girlfriends and I had a TERRIFIC stay at this property! It had all the basics for bulk cooking in the kitchen, comfortable beds, a cute and efficient layout, a wrap around porch and plenty of fans. The location is just 10-15 mins drive from the center of town. I recommend staying here as long as you are okay with the many stairs!

Nice house, too many stairs

We did enjoy the stay. However, knowing the amount of stairs and distance to walk from the parking area would have been nice in the posting. We had people with bad knees and one with a heart condition. Walking back and forth was difficult, then add 2 small kids to it. It would have been helpful to know that in advance. The house itself was nice and the beds were comfortable.

Pretty great overall

Positives: Mike, the owner, is quick to respond to messages. He is very nice and allowed us to check in an hour early upon arrival. This place has plenty of beds for large groups. Loved that they allowed our furry friends to join us too. The beds were all really comfortable, with clean sheets and nice pillows. The overall cleanliness of the place was good. Bathrooms and showers were nice. Loved that every room has its own tv. The firepit on the deck was great to have in the evenings. our only negatives would be that while we were there, it was quite hot. Even though the basement rooms (2) have ac, it did not seem to work well. They do have a lot of fans for every room, but it was still very stiffling to be inside during the day and we did still get hot at night even after it cooled down. Mike did inform us that they were having unusally hot weather, so it could just be the time we went (over July 4th). Lastly, the stairs... Not much you can do about them but you do have to walk up and down a good amount of stairs to get to the place. Taking stuff down to the house wasn't as bad and loading things up and taking them out on our last day. Just be prepared for the stairs if you stay here. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and we really enjoyed ourselves.

The listing clearly states that we have a portable AC unit in the loft and that we have stairs leading down to our home. Most Lake Tahoe homes do. We are experiencing a heat wave of over 110 degrees Very few homes in Lake Tahoe have AC because we are at 8,000 ft elevation. I try to give everyone a five star review unless something extremely bad has occurred at our home. That being said, we had to have the carpets cleaned after Tara’s stay due to strong smell of urine downstairs. I would ask that maybe Tara reads the information provided before renting her next stay somewhere.

Tahoe Family reunion

We really enjoyed the property! The kids could sled right outside the door and the area was stunning. The whole family hiked and loved the views. Skiing is close as is Heavenly. Well stocked kitchen!

Worked great for our family

This house was good for our big family. The only downside was the amount of stairs to get to the property when we had to load/unload all of our cars. Other than that, property was great.

We believe we found the perfect vacation home in South Lake Tahoe. On the Nevada side of Heavenly Mountain, the snow is incredible for skiing and snowboarding. Two ski lifts are very close by. A great local sports bar, the Fox and Hound is within walking distance
