Clean and close to beach

We had a great time at Crab Shack. Place was clean and roomy. Beach was so close easy to get to. This area of the beach is not crowded like other more touristy areas. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

Great Location for Exploring AMI and Gathering with Others

We enjoyed the Crab Shack for a weeklong getaway. The combination of a block walk to a quiet beach, 2 block walk to the Trolley stop for a free ride from end to end of the island and a pool and hot tub on your back patio for relaxing after exploring all day, makes this a very easy place to enjoy. I would book this property again when returning to Anna Maria.

great beach house

The house was almost perfect! it was so close to the beach (30 second walk) and the pool and fires were such a great add on. We did have some issues with the kitchen sink, but it got fixed within hours after we called! Would definitely recommend staying here for a trip to AMI.

Perfection!!

This house is wonderful!! The walk to the uncrowded beach is easy and short. The pool was sparkling clean and warm the whole time we were there. Plenty of cooking utensils, beach chairs, towels, etc. Everything you need for your stay. All amenities and instructions were easy to use/follow. It is also comfortable and beautifully decorated. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the island!

Great house!

Overall this was a wonderful place to stay. Super close to the beach! Hot tub and small salt water pool. Well stocked kitchen and had some soaps/TP to get you started. Only drawback was they did not service the pool after we called mid week. Disappointing. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Pretty perfect spot!

Awesome location. Walking distance to the beach, groceries, some restaurants. A couple blocks off the main road so it was much more quiet. Backyard pool, hot tub, TV, gas fire pit, screened in porch were all AMAZING. Pool gets afternoon shade so you can get out of the sun after a while. It’s a duplex but we hardly heard anything. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food for any meal. Dining room table and comfy couch made for fun games/movies. Literally the only (minor) downsides: Bathrooms are a bit snug and we could not find a hair dryer anywhere. If Anna Maria/Holmes Beach is your thing, this place seems really hard to beat!

Crab Shack was OK...

Overall the house was nice, close walk to the beach was fantastic. Cleanliness of the pool/hot tub area was not great. By the 4th day, the water was turning green. After 4 different phone calls, the issue wasn't resolved and there was no one to clean it until our checkout day. It was a very disappointing experience considering how much $$$ is cost to stay at the house.

Great location! Cleanliness could be improved.

The location is the best part about this house! Just a short walk to the beach that wasn’t overcrowded at all. We appreciated all of the beach gear and towels that were provided. The house could have been cleaner overall. There were bugs in the bathrooms (both dead and alive) and trash from the previous guests. The coffee pot could use an upgrade. We had spills all over the counter every morning. The backyard could also use some lights. It was pitch black when my kids wanted to swim at night. The pool was cloudy most of the week and super hot. Overall, we were happy with our stay, but there was definitely some room for improvement.

Holmes Beach

Location, Location, Location. Property was super close to the beautiful beach. Pool and hot tub were nice and back yard was great. Inside the house was ok. The main problem was the master bathroom had what looked like mites or some kind of small insect crawling around the bathroom and up the shower walls. That was a real turn off.

It was a very short walk to the beach and it’s a beautiful home. We had a few issues which the management attempted to resolve to our satisfaction. The pool and hot tub were great and the beds were very comfortable for our family with three young children and an elderly person with us. We liked this home a lot.

Loved it here!

This home had absolutely everything and more we could have asked for when on vacation. It was clean, beautifully decorated, had towels for the pool, beach chairs, hot tub, two fire pits, and much more. It was really close to the beach as well. We would highly recommend it to anyone!

Perfect location

Love the the location. Although it’s 2 blocks away from the beach it’s such a short walk. The private pool is a plus and they have most everything we needed. I would suggest minor changes but will definitely rent this place again.
