Perfect Place

The cottage was awesome- equipped with everything you would need and very comfortable! The location was great- close enough to what we wanted to do and yet nice and quiet to relax when we were there. Would definitely stay again if in area.

Location was very quiet and secluded and the property had everything you could want. Really bummed we only were there for one night because we would have loved to take advantage of the incredible movie and game collection.

Nick thought of every last detail! Well organized and stocked with everything you need for your stay. Communication was great.All the movies and awesome projector made entertainment easy. The fireplace added an extra layer of cozy to our relaxing weekend. Plenty of good food nearby too.

Very relaxing

I was in town for a few days and wanted a quiet place to stay. The cottage had everything I needed, very clean and quiet. I visit maple valley a few times a year to see friends, and this will definitely be where I stay.

Sanctuary

I was visiting Washington for a family issue and needed a space to be able to get away and decompress. This little cottage has everything I could have possibly needed and so quiet I slept better than I have in years. Nick and Duane have thought of everything and were the most gracious of hosts. Perfect Spot!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay in this very private and peaceful cottage. The place was so cute- comfy and homey with a wonderful bed, rain shower, and everything you would need. Super clean. Cute little cottage

My husband and I rented the blue cottage for a night away from our crazy kids. It is beautifully designed and so comfortable!! The entertainment system is fabulous as was all of their amenities. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful hosts and wonderful space!

This was a perfect getaway in the forest. The unit is very clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. They’ve thought about every detail to make the space most comfortable. I worked remotely all week and the wifi was great! Kini is also the sweetest dog. I’d love staying here again anytime!

Peaceful Cabin Living!

We loved everything about this property -- the lovely porch, the magnificent trees, the projector television, the movie hut, and the roomy bathroom all combined nature and comfort in the perfect way. Duane and Nick were excellent hosts, very communicative, and we were so excited to meet and play stick with their adorable retriever, Kini! We love this part of Washington, and hope to be back!

Cozy, secluded, and well-stocked cottage!

This cottage is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Some highlights that made it a wonderful place to stay: a comfortable bed, a fully-stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook our meals, a large shower with rainfall showerhead, an electric fireplace that provided heat and atmosphere, a huge screen and projector for watching movies and TV, a "Movie Hut" with hundreds of DVDs and Blu-Rays to choose from (along with TONS of board games)...the list goes on. The cottage was extremely clean, cozy, and homey. We even got to briefly meet Kini, the owners' friendly dog. This was a fantastic place for a secluded getaway.

Living the Dream

The on-site owners have done wonderful things here. The cottage is a perfect retreat for two. The economical floor plan accommodates a bathroom/laundry, kitchen with eating bar, sitting area with a large screen television, and bedroom. It was squeaky clean and amazingly well equipped. So many little extras like the film library, well stocked game closet, a first aid kit, and even cumin! The outdoor spaces are similarly well thought out with a comfy porch and rocking chairs, hammock, picnic table and lawn games. The location at the end of a private drive off of a dead end road is very quiet and secluded feeling. The owners ensured we were comfortably checked-in by text, then ensured our privacy. A pleasant surprise was the Flaming Gorge State Park, a beautiful spot, just a couple miles away. Don't miss it!
