La place historique de Denton à seulement 1,6 km et UNT est un peu moins de 2. Le chalet a été entièrement rénové et restauré dans sa splendeur d'antan. Touches réfléchies tout au long. Bois durs restaurés, murs de shiplap, décor vintage, art original.

Idéal pour préparer les mariées, les réceptions universitaires, le week-end entre filles, les ateliers, la famille ou les affaires.

Remontez le temps et détendez-vous sur le porche avant enchanteur; parfait pour boire du vin et regarder les gens. Laissez-vous séduire par la délicieuse cuisine avec des appareils modernes, un évier de ferme, des luminaires en bronze champagne, des murs de shiplap et des comptoirs en bloc de boucher. Des collations légères, du café, du thé, des épices, des plats et du matériel de cuisine sont fournis.

Seule la meilleure literie de luxe fera l'affaire pour nos clients! Chaque chambre dispose d'un lit queen en laiton, de nouveaux surmatelas Serta Perfect Sleeper et de draps en percale de coton de haute qualité. Le salon a un canapé-lit avec un matelas en mousse à mémoire de taille normale. Nous proposons également un matelas gonflable motorisé si besoin.

Les deux salles de bain sont rénovées et pleines de charme! Il y a aussi une vaste cour arrière et un patio, une laveuse et une sécheuse à chargement frontal, un grand stationnement et bien plus encore!

Autres choses à noter:

- Lors de la réservation, parlez-nous de vous et de ce qui vous amène à Denton.

- Nous préférons les enfants de 8 ans et plus. Si votre enfant est plus jeune, contactez l'hôte pour approbation.

Comfortable Cottage

The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Our hosts were available if needed and responded quickly. Easy walk to the square and great coffee across the street! Highly recommend.

Shiplap cottage

Excellent cottage with updated kitchen, bathrooms, and a fantastic location. Hosts communicated quickly and everything was available from day one. Great guest binder with clear home instructions and what a great cottage, I said it again! Would stay there again and highly recommend it. Thank you Lauren.

Was not able to stay at Lauren's property because of the coronavirus situation, but she was exceptionally gracious in refunding the full amount of my reservation cost (which I never requested or expected). Great Experience

The property was clean, inviting, and perfect for our needs. We didn't end up using the kitchen other than light breakfast, but it was well stocked and easy to find things we needed. The beds were super comfortable; we slept very well. The bedding was cosy and the shower had plenty of hot water, which turned out to be important as the weather turned cold and rainy while we were there. The property is thoroughly remodeled and has everything one might need. One note for tech people. The living room tv has all the streaming services available, but it does not allow "casting" or "mirroring" from your phone or other device. This is not a problem, just something to know for planning. My husband brought our Fire Stick and it connected to the tv easily through a spare HDMI input and we had all our streaming accounts instantly available and already set up.

Absolutely perfect home away from home!

My daughter and I stayed in this home while visiting from NY. We were staying due to some stressful circumstances so it was very important to stay somewhere that we felt comfortable and could sleep well. That we did! This home was everything we could have wanted and needed. The beds and sitting space in living room were so comfortable. We were able to gather with a few family members for breakfast in the dining room/kitchen bar area and then watch movies together in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including some extra goodies that Lauren left for us. The home is GORGEOUS! The location was perfect for our needs...close to the square. I was a bit concerned about off street lodging but we were pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was. We slept well and were able to socialize comfortably while taking care of family needs. Also, it was a quick trip to the square for happy hour at Hannah's. Love Hannah's on the square! The home is meticulously clean, including offering clean safe products (which I especially appreciated), very well appointed, and simply felt like home to us. We had a comfortable lovely stay and highly recommend this if you're in the Denton area. We will definitely return. Also, they were lovely and attentive hosts but we 100% enjoyed our privacy as well. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Lovely Spot in Denton

Just loved this adorable house. A feeling of home as soon as you enter. My family enjoyed staying in this most comfortable home, with a beautiful kitchen, with everything needed to cook a meal to the most comfortable beds. Just a great stay, Will defineitly be back!

Cute little cottage

Very nice and very clean cottage. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only cons were the drag racing on the street and if you are doing any major cooking we felt the kitchen could've been better stocked with pans and baking dishes. This is a lovely cottage and super clean! The owner is very attentive. Would definitely stay again.

We do have pots, pans and baking sheets. You may have missed them below the stove or in the wall cabinet? We encourage our guests to reach out if they can’t find something. So sorry you missed those! Better Than Home

Everything at the Shiplap Cottage is just so comfortable and well-organized. The beds are just right, the bathrooms and kitchen have everything you need (right down to a little coffee measuring spoon), the decor is eclectic, but carefully and lovingly curated (not just random things, like many rentals), there are books in the living room, and it has awesome wifi, and Alexis to help, if you like. The Nest system, ceiling fans, and double-pained windows keep it comfortable, too. And there are labels to help you find the important stuff (like coffee filters), so you're not pulling out every drawer in the kitchen looking for them the first few days. It's just the right combo of modern and functional, but with warmth and character and history. Great place to stay in Denton!

Daydreams on Elm Street

Technically on N Elm, this cottage was perfect for a couple of days *winding down* from a long multi-state drive. Plenty of nearby shopping w/best coffee in Denton at Goldenboy. Outside temps were chilly during my stay but the climate control inside was perfect. Part of me wants to keep this lil place a secret but I know Lauren needs to keep her business afloat - I highly recommend this cottage!

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!

This property was perfect in every way. So quaint, cozy and comfortable. Seemed like everything we would ever need was there, just like being at home. Owners were very helpful with check-in, check-out and general correspondence. I would highly recommend this Shiplap Cottage if you are needing a place to stay in the Denton, Texas area. 5-stars!

Chic, clean and comfortable!

We stayed at this wonderful property with our son, daughter in-law and first grandchild. We could not have found a better place. This home has been tastefully updated and still holds onto its historic charm. For 2 couples and a newborn - it was roomy enough and very comfortable. Very close to DT Denton and the 2 universities. 5 stars!

Church Conference 2020

We rented this home four days, for a church conference. It is a very welcoming, comfortable home. The beds are extremely comfortable, even the stowaway bed has a memory foam mattress. The kitchen has all the little extras that makes fixing meals a breeze. The owner was very professional and prompt about answering questions. My Pastors wife even took pictures to show her family how cute this home is. If we ever travel back to the Denton area, we hope to rent it again. God Bless Russell (41 yr.) From Indiana
