Nouveau - Cottage au milieu des vignes au coeur du pays du vin Fair Play

Le cottage Element House est spacieux et charmant, situé à côté d'Element House sur une belle parcelle de 5 acres avec 3 acres de vignes. C'est calme et paisible avec des vues fascinantes.

Le chalet a 1 lit et 1 salle de bain. Le coin petit-déjeuner est équipé d'une table, d'un mini-réfrigérateur, d'un four micro-ondes et d'une cafetière. La salle de bain est grande avec une douche carrelée spacieuse. Commencez votre journée en profitant du soleil du matin et de la vue sur les vignobles environnants. Passez une journée à déguster des vins dans plus de 20 établissements vinicoles à proximité. Les vignobles de Fair Play Road ne sont qu'à quelques minutes. Beaucoup d'autres activités de plein air sont des options pour vous avec la rivière Cosumnes à moins de 1,6 km. Vous êtes à distance de marche du marché local et du parc Pioneer. Terminez votre journée en admirant un magnifique coucher de soleil, puis en dégustant un verre de votre vin préféré en admirant le ciel étoilé de la Sierra Nevada.

Cottage in the vineyard

Clean property, very quiet. Beautiful surroundings. The Element 79 tasting room is very nice surrounded by vineyards.The wine was excellent.

The property was perfect for us. It was a great location. Close proximity to the wedding we attended and so many wineries nearby! The place was extremely clean, well decorated, and plenty of room. Les and Sharon were great hosts! Very friendly and so easy to communicate with. Their winery, Element 79 was amazing as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. I highly recommend this property!

Hidden Gem in the heart of wine country!

A wonderful cottage close to element 79 with a great set up that was comfortable for us and our 8 week newborn to share. Plenty of space heaters to keep us warm too :)

Nice retreat near multiple wineries

A great stay with only minor issues: (1) gate code was very temperamental and (2) you have to pull the cottage door towards you when trying to lock the door. Love the location. Close to wineries and a gas station.

No kids weekend

We always love coming to the Fairplay area. This was a new place to stay for us and we really enjoyed it. It has everything you need in a beautiful spot. Our only complaint is that the bed is really hard, too much for our liking. Get a foam mattress topper on there and it would be perfect.

Beautiful place

This was such a cute little cottage! It was our first time away in almost 3 years since we have kids so it was very special. Kelly allowed me to check in early so I could decorate the room to Surpise my fiancé . And when we got there, there was a welcome board personalized with our names and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. It couldn’t have been any more perfect.

The Cottage

The cottage was perfect for our short stay. The owner was very flexible with our changing arrival time. The one thing that maybe could be improved was the directions to the actual cottage once you are through the gate. We missed the immediate left turn ( was not it the directions) and since we arrived after dark it was a little more challenging to find the access. But we found it fairly quickly and enjoyed the place very much. Thank you!

Wonderful escape

My husband and I “escaped” from the confines of sheltering in place to attend a funeral nearby. It was a delight to stay at the cottage and to get a change of scenery. As soon as we walked in, the place smelled refreshingly brand new! It was charming, clean and fresh. The cottage was appointed with fluffy white towels, high-end soaps and lotions, a well appointed kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster and small fridge. The cottage also had access to a sunny seating area where we ate breakfast and dinner (Chinese takeout) outside with a view of the property’s vineyards. Because of Covid, we were unable to wine taste at the owner’s Element 79 winery, but we were greeted with a nice bottle of zinfandel from the vineyard in our cottage. We look forward to coming back when they re-open for tastings! The winery is as inviting and trendy as the finest Napa wineries. Met the owners and they were delightful people. We’ll be back!

Everything was just wonderful! The cottage was very clean, welcoming, and quiet. We enjoyed staying there and celebrating our friends that got married in the area! We have been big fans of the Fair Play / Somerset area for many years and have been coming up here to wine taste and cut our family Christmas Tree for many years. In 2015 we purchased the vineyard and created Element 79 Vineyards and Winery. We make Element House Cottage available to our club members and guests and also want to make it available to others that need a place to stay while they are enjoying all that the area has to offer.
