Quick Getaway

Took our teens for a quick trip for skiing and relaxation. Everything was true to the listing, well supplied kitchen, extra sheets and towels were available if needed. Everything was clean and detailed instructions and household tips were given. There were helpful labels and signs throughout. Hosts had great communication. We enjoyed our time!

Great weekend getaway

HOUSE WAS CLEAN, WELL EQUIPPED AND COZY. uNFORTUNATRELY DROUGHT AND HIGH WINDS PREVENTED MY GRANDSON FROM BEING ABLE TO UTILIZE THE FIRE PIT, BUT WERE COMPENSATED BY INDOOR WOODBURNING STOVE AND NEARBY FISHING IN bATAVIA kILL.

Great house

We got to the house late at night but it was easy to find. The house is clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed staying there and it is very close to Windham ski mountain and also not far from Hunter. Will book this place again if we come back.

Perfect place for our weekend.

The house was awesome. Every detail has been thought through. Our only hiccup was during check - we did not fully understand that the house was at the back of the property. Since we arrived when it was dark, more detail about exactly where the house is located would have been helpful. Google maps was not very precise. Overall loved our stay.

Very much like home

Extremely nice and comfortable home. Had everything you would need to make home cooked meals and more. The beds and sofas were very comfortable and the open concept kitchen/dining/living room made the home feel spacious yet cozy. We rented this house for a ski trip wknd for my son's 21st bday and it went superbly well. Windham Mountain is just minutes away, and exploring the small local businesses that were a few stops away, was a perfect way to pass the time. I would advise people who plan on skiing at Windham Mntn on the weekend to get there early because the parking situation is exhausting. Of course, I visited during one of the big snowstorms, so that also added to the craziness of finding parking) Overall, the stay was wonderful and I would definitely book this rental again.

Great space, great view!

Visited for a ski weekend with friends and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Short drive to the mountain, and an even shorter drive to the main drag of town. The house was well stocked with every cooking utensil you could ever need, and the place was warm and cozy after a day on the slopes.

Another great weekend at this home

Our second time renting here was just as great as the first. Very clean, cozy, easy communication with owners, and a fully stocked house with everything we needed. Great house plus only a 3 minute drive to Windham mountain!

Clean and comfortable home very close to Windham mountain

For our family of 4 this house was wonderful and could very comfortably accomodate more people. We loved that the house felt new, was very clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen was very well stocked. The drive to Windham mountain is less than 5 minutes away, restaurants are 2 minutes away so this is a great house to stay at for a ski weekend. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another weekend for this season.

Perfect for ski getaway

This house was perfect for our family and friends. It’s literally 5 min from Windham. The owners had nice touches and truly felt like a home away from home. Beds were super comfortable. My husband and I had the queen bed room. Our friends had the king room. Bc house was so close when our son got hurt skiing he was able to rest at the house with my husband and was way to drop the rest of off and pick up.

Modern House with Great Views of Windham Mountain

The house is great! The kitchen appliances are up to date, and it's well stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils that you need. The dining area / living room set up is open with a giant smart TV with Netflix and all the apps. There are great views of Windham Mountain from through the sliding glass doors and from the deck. The beds are comfortable. We found that the main bedroom/bath will get very warm if the vents are left fully open, but closing them about 90% balances the temperature with the rest of the house. The house is walking distance to Main St, but Mitchell Hollow Road lacks a sidewalk and can be a little busy (so wear something reflective after dark). The driveway was plowed, and the heated stairs are a really nice touch.

This is my second time renting this property! Both times the house was spotless and had everything you could need. Would definitely rent again when going to Windham. Owners are extremely kind and answer any questions promptly!!!

This property is conveniently located in the town of Windham, a quiet family neighborhood. Close to ski slopes, hiking trails, lakes, restaurants, shops, and many festivals year round.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

In the winter season, we are minutes from the slopes and the wood burning stove makes for cozy evenings after a day of skiing or snowboarding. In warmer weather, go hiking at many nearby trails, or swim in scenic lakes. Back at the house, bbq in the picnic area and enjoy dinner on the deck, followed by roasting marshmallows for s'mores in the fire pit. Be sure to download the star map tracker app to show the kids the constellations in the night sky!
