The house was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.We were in town for a wedding, so we spent little time at the house.The lockbox numbers were difficult for us to read and set. Since two couples were staying at the house, an extra key would have been more convenient.

Nice home. Everything was clean and a short wavy drive to bear mountain ski resort. Maybe having a few extra trash bags would help since we have to take the tras to the dumpsters.

Klamath Paradise

We loved the location of the home, it was very clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful and very peaceful. I would rent the same home again.

You must be aware that when booking this unit you will need to pay Destination Big Bear as well as VRBO. In my case I was overcharged with respect to the price quoted via VRBO and it was very challenging to get anyone to take responsibility and provide a refund (as in that required 10 emails and many phone calls to resolve and finally receive a refund). Destination Big Bear especially did not want help to resolve the issue of the overcharge even though I never signed up to work with them in the first place. There should be no other agency involved in this process other than VRBO when booking on VRBO! So please be aware you will need to deal with a separate rental agency when booking this unit that did not have good customer service in my experience. You also need to drive the trash to a dumpster in town appx few miles away or face a charge. Otherwise the unit was nice and clean.

Klamath Retreat

Place was in great shape. Weather was warm, fans were much appreciated. The deck extension was awesome. House was also freshly painted. My wife said she had everything she needed in the kitchen. Great time in Big Bear!

Won’t come back!

The towels were stained, looked unclean, bedskirts ripped, blanket in the far left bedroom had a foul smell to it, hadn’t been washed in years. We had to wash the towels and bed coverings before sleeping.
