INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Slow start, great stay!

Check in process was a little rough. Had to wait on wrist bands and parking passes. Once that was situated we really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to spending more time at this resort.

Great views

Very clean and roomy. The beds weren’t too comfy, but the views were wonderful from either door! Easy access to the beach. Lots to do here! Plenty of places to eat onsite! The elevators can be tricky at certain times of the day. Be aware check in times May run later than 4.

Great place just hard contacting for interruptions during stay

Tv was not explained on how to use nor channel guide. 3 remotes and no dictation how to use. Dryer knob broke and nobody fixed during stay. Hard to contact anyone for help. No info on how to check in. Got lost trying to park and lobby no help. No sheets for pull out sofa bed . However was nice place and location.

Great Condo

Condo was very clean and roomy for all four in our party staying. Upon arrival the Tv remotes in both the livingroom and bedroom didn’t work, contacted maintenance and they were very quick at coming out to fix the issues. Loved the view from the balcony!! Only issue we had was the beds the master king bed and the bunks were very uncomfortable, sleeping on a sheet of plywood may have been better. If you book this room and have a bad back bring a foam mattress topper. To end it up this will be our last stay at Laketown Wharf, not because this is a beautiful condo and the room and pools were amazing but simply this was a last minute planned vacation and we hate staying across the road from the beach and having to lug everything down and over the street.

Laketown wharf 1002

It is so hard to get a response from anyone. The phone number only text and it takes forever to get a response. The website is also so hard to get into. Everytime it says wrong password or email. And i reset the password atleast 20 times was able to get in 1 time thank god long enough to get a screen shot of the door code. But not able to get back in so i finally gave up trying. You can still be in "covid regulations" and answer a phone. Plus no luggage carts and you have to park on 1 end of the very massive building and drag children and all your luggage to the complete opposite end of the building so it makes for a very aggravating commute and extremely long lines and wait times for the elevators
