Si le temps le permet, vous pouvez profiter du porche couvert ou de l'immense terrasse surplombant la zone sans dérive unique du sud-ouest du Wisconsin, avec des collines et des vallées en abondance pour observer la faune de toutes sortes! Situé à près d'un mile de tout chemin public, cette cabane vous donne l'impression de vous évader que ce soit pour une escapade d'un week-end ou simplement un endroit où séjourner pendant votre visite en ville! Driftless Trout Fishing Spot

This is a great location to access the Driftless region. We were looking for a place to stay while trout fly fishing and this place was perfect to access many streams and was very well maintained and comfortable, etc.

Quiet and peaceful

We were looking for an experience in the Driftless Area of just the sights and sounds of nature and we definitely found it. Birdsong (and wild turkeys) during the day, an owl at dusk, and silence at night.

Pleasant stay

A very pleasant stay at the house. Clean, large beds, nice patio, easy to get to. Store and gas close by. Secluded, cannot see neighbors. Checking in and out is a breeze.

Quiet retreat close to town

This house was perfect. We wanted a quiet getaway but still wanted wifi and phone service. We were 5 minutes to a town for groceries or food, and about an hour from lots of places to explore.

Feels like you're out in the woods, but with any conveniences nearby

This was a great stay. The cabin is cozy and clean. The deck is great. You're in the woods at the edge of a farm. Even though you feel like you're out on your own, major stores are only a five minute drive away. My family (two adults, one teen) loved it. Thank you!

Hosts Went Above and Beyond

First of all, this property is stunning. Gorgeous piece of land, exactly as off-the-beaten-path as we wanted to be. Beautiful views from the windows, porch and deck. Modern appliances, well cared for. Incredibly comfortable beds and cozy furniture. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Helped me out in a bind when I left an important item behind at the property, and the hosts went out of their way to get it back to me. You simply can't go wrong at this cabin. Would absolutely stay again.

Absolute perfection

We were seeking the perfect escape from the weeks of shut-down in a place that would be secluded yet readily accessible, completely private but close to nature, comfortable and cozy. This was all we sought and more. Communication was superb. The mattress and pillows will send me searching to replace mine at home. The A/C was needed on one exceptionally hot day and it worked flawlessly. Nature was abundant, with daily deer sightings and beautiful birds including eastern bluebirds nesting beneath the deck, goldfinches at the feeder, meadow larks everywhere, orioles, mourning doves and more. We heard only the sounds of nature and saw no one, yet Culvers and Walmart were only 5 minutes away (but we never moved the car from arrival to departure!). We highly recommend this for a couple's escape and we certainly hope to return. Thank you to superhosts, Amy and Jamey.

What a beautiful spot! Secluded, convenient, and so charming!

Easy check in process, loved the seclusion, the apple orchard in front and the overall decor as well as the architecture! Saving this for future getaways for our little family. Thanks again for having us!

Lovely setting for the cabin

Five days in the cabin was nice. However disappointed that: -No fire table pit as seen on website - Unable to access coin laundry as noted on website -Outside grill below grate to encrusted to use without cleaning -No broiler pan inside to substitute for grill -Dangerous non-stick coating on ALL cookware - Dangerous partial railing to upstairs - ready to come apart at bottom section of railing and could be secured more firmly Would be helpful to have hooks for clothes and something to put suitcases on. Only the 1st floor bedroom had a hook rack on the back of the door Enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub, the comfortable beds, upper deck for reading, visiting, watching birds and random deer

Susan, I am glad you had a nice stay, I wish you would of called us, as we are always available to our guest to help with anything. We could of taken care of the other issues. The fire pit table is on the lower deck and was available to use. It has a cover on it to protect it while not in use and may of been overlooked.

Lovely Getaway

Our trip to this lovely property was exactly what we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the birds and wildlife, even on the rainy day, it was perfect. The solitude was amazing and relaxing. We hope to come back in the fall to see the colors! I agree with other comments that the upstairs was a bit warm, but it was just fine. The main floor stayed very cool! The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was quite nice, and the grill was very handy. My only recommendation is to heavy coffee drinkers -- the Kuerig is a lovely, quick thing, but if you require as much coffee as I do, you may want to bring along another means to make coffee! ;-)

Family time

The home was well furnished with required amenities, and the location was perfect - secluded from other vacationers. Was surprised, however, there was no available closet space or dresser drawers to keel clothing. Fortunately, there was an extra bedroom we didn’t need to keep our luggage and clothing on the bed. We enjoyed the large lower deck, where we enjoyed dinner, dancing and painting! And for those with culinary skills, the home has more than average seasonings. We enjoyed our stay at this place, and the owners were readily accessible when needed.

Remote but close to everything!

We loved staying at the cabin! The property is beautiful and the cabin is also. Owners were very prompt to reply to any questions. We took advantage of the huge double decks overlooking the orchard. Highly recommend this cabin in the Driftless Region!

Perfect!

We stayed for my birthday weekend and wanted a relaxing time. This log home was cute cozy and just perfect. Owners were quick to respond to emails Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the wildlife right outside the windows. Will definitely be back!

Perfectly Cozy and Secluded!

We fell in love with this cabin instantly! It is so cozy, peaceful and comfortable that we were very sad to leave. The cabin was also stocked with things you may have forgotten to bring or didn't think of bringing- and was clean and inviting. The main floor bed was firm and very comfortable. The location is also great because it's secluded but the town is only a few minutes away (including a Walmart). We cannot wait to go back!

Loved the cabin

Great spot not far from town!

This cabin isn't far from stores and restaurants but feels secluded. The view of fields and trees from the two decks are amazing. It's a great place to spend a weekend away.

Five stars all around!

The photos represent this property very accurately. There were no surprises. The owners were extremely responsive to our messages and gave clear, detailed instructions about our arrival. The place was SUPER clean, appliances were all high-end and new, they even provided the gas for the grill and fire pit. It was easy, relaxing, and perfect. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet getaway that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, yet it's only 5 minutes from town so if you need anything if you can totally get it! Thank you Jamey and Amy for opening your beautiful cabin to us.

Very nice property and cabin loved the setup back in the woods sat out on the porch every morning watching for wildlife managed to see 1 big tom turkey stroll through very hard to leave and go back to reality!!! Thanks.

Private, quiet, and picturesque

We had a very enjoyable time at this cabin. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the pots and utensils we needed to cook our meals, the appliances seemed new and top of the line, and the Keurig and supplied k-cups were a nice surprise and appreciated. The beds were very comfortable; we slept great. Although the stairs were narrow, they were easy enough on the way up; more caution was required on the way down with the last 4 stairs having no handrail. The setting is awesome: the cabin is surrounded by woods with a large clearing at the front, and the deck opens to a gorgeous view of the surrounding hills. It is secluded and very private, and so quiet. The town is only 1.5 miles away, but once you are at the cabin you feel like you are so far out in the country. There are trails around the property to hike, which was beautiful in the winter so I can only imagine what it looks like in other seasons. We would definitely stay here again!

We bought this property for its beauty. As a family we have enjoyed updating the interior of the cabin and continue to work on projects on the outside.
