Our stay was great. There were many great amenities, like a duel mode coffe maker and gas grill. Very comfortable and beautiful scenery. Will definitely come back again.

Loved the beautiful farmhouse, away from it all, with great views, and every possible amenity. Great owners. We loved it so much that we’re booking this house again next year.

Wonderful home near Richland Center

Our family and friends stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the area. The home sits on top of a ridge with wonderful views. It is well designed, comfortable, and clean. We would be happy to stay here again - highly recommended.

Wonderful Retreat!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here! It’s a beautiful country location with panoramic views. The host had scones from a local bakery waiting for us when we got there, which was a treat. The property was very clean and well-cared for. There were seven of us and we were very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Home was very nice with a lot of elbow room. The back patio area afforded pretty views while playing games and later dining. We were able to watch a distant storm with all the lightning fireworks in the distance. Visited some of the local wineries. Really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for family gathering

This warm beautiful home with its spacious kitchen, dining and living room offer the perfect setting to get together with family and friends. There are no steps at the entrance for elderly guests to navigate. The bathroom is easily accessible for all abilities also.

Enjoyed our stay

Very nice home, easily accommodated our family (eight adults.) Kitchen had all the pots, pans, utensils, plates and drinkware needed. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Dining table was big enough for all to sit around at meal time, even with a picture puzzle in progress on one end. Gas fireplace made things cozy, tv (DISH) worked well. We would definitely recommend staying at The Farmhouse at Mauston.

This house is amazing! This has been our favorite VRBO by far. It was clean, all rooms were adorable, beds were comfortable, very spacious, and quiet. The morning sunrise over the barn was beautiful! The owners left us yummy scones from a local bakery and great coffee! Everything exceeded our expectations! We will be back!

Fantastic!

Beautiful, clean home in a stunning location! This home had everything we needed and wanted. Therese was wonderful to work with. We had such a fun and relaxing time - we played games on the patio and at the large dining room table. We made smores over a big bonfire, watched beautiful sunsets, grilled out, and enjoyed our morning coffee on the enclosed porch. The fresh scones waiting for us when we arrived were amazing! We will definitely be back!

We’ve had a small family union here for the last three years in a row and are in the process of booking a fourth year here. Nobody else in the family wants to look anywhere else. Everyone loves it here. It’s clean, attractive, and in a beautiful setting and we love it.

Hidden gemWe just returned from a two night, three day stay at this seriously hidden gem nestled in the rolling hills of Richland County. There were 5 adults and three kids and the home fit us all easily and comfortably . The owners have done a fantastic job on the interior with a huge kitchen and sitting areas. The bedrooms were all very nice, large and comfortable, with the master having its own bathroom and shower. The other adult room also had its own bathroom and shower and kids upstairs had their own bathroom and shower as well. What we were not expecting were the views of surrounding hill tops and absolutely fantastic sunsets. I am quite sure that the views of the fall colors are without a doubt beautiful. We would highly recommend this home and its owners for anyone looking for an effortless weekend or longer, getaway. Thank you for allowing all of us to stay and look forward to hopefully returning in the future.
