Profitez du chalet moderne du milieu du siècle avec 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain. Cette maison récemment mise à jour se trouve sur 6 acres côté ruisseau sur Stony Creek à quelques minutes du mémorial du vol 93. Avec une grande salle à manger / salle de jeux à l'étage et un salon en bas avec cheminée, il y a beaucoup d'espace de rassemblement intérieur. Le pont enveloppant vous donnera beaucoup d'espace de divertissement pendant que vous écoutez le bruit de l'eau qui coule. Sounds like a wonderful getaway! The firepit is a great place to unwind after a day of exploring, and with the proximity to nature there is never a shortage of birds and other critters to enjoy!

Everything was clean and tidy. Creek was great. Kitchen was stocked if you like to cook. Nice grill. When we stayed, there was a fair going on and we got to listen to live music on Friday and Saturday night! Good location.

The home was very nice for our short trip to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. The house was warm and picturesque. After checkout, we received a strange message suggesting that we tried to tamper with the lock on their owner’s closet as they stated their lock was hard to open. We didn’t even know there was an owners closet. We live in an old house and our door locks are also always finicky. Other than that, our stay was great.

Great Family Rental

This was our second year staying at Lois Lane for Thanksgiving and it was perfect again! We absolutely love the property. Our relatives live in the surrounding area and this home allows to visit with them and have a quiet space to stay to recharge. Our dogs love it too!

Three Day Golf Trip

Stayed here for our annual golf trip with friends. Great location near courses and small town with an amazing general store. Property was very nice. Secluded and quiet.

Quiet relaxing getaway

Best part was getting up in the morning sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee and listening to the creek down below very quiet very nice. We overpacked everything was there down to the Salt and Pepper great kitchen.

Can't wait to stay again

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay. The house was great for everyone(including our dogs!). The grounds the house are on are as beautiful if not better. We spent the better part of everyday by the creek, swim hole or just roaming the beautiful property. We can't wait to return!

Cozy House with Great Amenities

We rented this property for a short stay while attending a family gathering in the area. The property was very comfortable and well-equipped. We used the outdoor grill for some meals, beds were comfortable, and outdoor deck by the creek was very peaceful. We would definitely rent again if in the area.

Peaceful getaway!

The property was beautiful view of a pond and creek, good yard for our dogs to run and play. Exceptionally quiet and peaceful if your looking to get away from loud noise. My wife and I both agree the best shower have ever taken at any place I have stayed before. Very nice accomodations and views, will stay again if up there again.

Pleasant Stay

The house has all of the amenities of home. Our college age children enjoyed trying out all of the “old school” games they have to offer. I enjoyed doing one of the jigsaw puzzles and just hanging out while my family went skiing. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Down-home America

This was a perfect spot for us. We visited The Flight 93 Memorial and there are 13 covered bridges within 45 minutes of Shanksville, a very quiet town. The quaint general store is the center of activity.

We could not agree more. Our Lois Lane property is definitely "down home America". So, glad you enjoyed your stay. This is super close to the Flight 93 Memorial and access to the very best of Pa's country side--including the covered bridge tour!

Quite and relaxing

Very happy with our stay Close to lake and things we wanted to see and do Place was very well-equipped, beds very comfortable and clean clean enjoyed just chilling out with friends and family, the only gripe was fire pit was a little too far down the hill for a bunch of Old people to trek up and down, next time we’re in the area will stay again

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful time at an excellent property. Beautiful, clean, and peaceful place. My six year old and I spent a lot of time splashing in the creek. Highly recommended.

Great set up@

Serene, peaceful location

Clean, peaceful property. We liked that it was secluded near the creek. It might be my fault but I didn’t realize it did not have central air, only window units in the bedrooms.

Cozy Cabin

This sweet cabin was exactly as advertised. It's old in a completely charming way. It's minimalist (very lightly stocked kitchen) but warm. It was really nice to have a place that welcomed our dogs and the property is beautiful. We had a hiccup with communicating with the host - my email was down - and the host was beyond patient with us.

fall getaway

Nice property overall. Water level too high to fish unfortunately, but enjoy the stream regardless. Enough seating downstairs for 2 people, but would be a little crowded for a group - we would always recommend a couch and love seat vs. a couch and chair for those rainy days when you want to stretch out and watch a movie. We would recommend the property and would return to stay in the future.

Peaceful retreat

The house is cozy, comfortable, charming and peaceful. Pond and stream on the property, no neighbors and plenty of room to relax indoors as well as outdoors. The wrap around deck is great for sitting out in the sun or enjoying meals listening to the stream. Shanksville is just around the bend, hiking trails, lakes and parks within 20 minutes or less, Flight 93 Memorial is 10 minutes away. The house is charming and had everything I needed. We will definitely rent this again closer to Fall. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing getaway.
