A relaxing quiet getaway, so many great amenities for this little place. The cottage is very quaint and peaceful. Also, the property manager was easy to work with and answered all questions quickly with great customer service!

We were staying here to see my 88-year old father through surgery. Very smooth communication with our host. We needed to change the dates of our stay at the last minute due to a change in the hospital schedule for my Dad. The management team responded quickly and professionally; which we greatly appreciated! Truly tranquil, lovely Hickory Hill Cottage provided us with the perfect respite after long days in the hospital. Relaxing in the hot tub took away our stress, and the quiet nights and comfy bed made for restful nights. Thoughtfully appointed and beautifully upgraded, Hickory Hill is simply wonderful. We even managed a quick celebration of our 34th wedding anniversary with a special dinner at Green Gables, where our reception was held. We hope to be back soon!

The cottage is so cute. So peaceful. Private. I would love to go back. Communication was so great. They even had a gift left for us and had the fire pit ready to go. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. It was so comfy cozy. Kitchen awesome, cute, modern. Tons of supplies. Living room was rustic and comfy and cute. Small reading room was adorable with a little portable fire place. Bathroom modern the water faucet so cute. There was a fire place in the bathroom. Made it toasty when you got out of the shower. The bedroom was great, in the back private. Cute fan and little portable fire place. The walk in way was so cute with a chandelier and closet with fire supplies. They had directions for everything. And in the back yard there is a cool walk way with a creek. Very very cool place to get away to.

We had an amazing stay

My wife and I spent a weekend at the cottage while we did some skiing @ Laurel Mountain Resort. Everything was incredible, the cottage is incredibly cozy and perfect for a getaway to the Laurel Highlands. We had dinner at a few of the restaurants there in Boswell and were quite impressed with the selections. Hanging in the hot tub after a day of skiing was perfect. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and everything was well documented.

THE most magical movieworthy cottage

This cottage was perfect. The exact thing i needed for my solo getaway. It's so warm and cozy. The fireplace is wonderful, the reading room is delightful and the bedroom is perfectly quaint and comfortable. I loved the keyless entry (i felt safe) and the hot tub. The communication with the host was superb. I wish i could give "communication" 10 stars. Thank you to the hosts!!!

Cozy Cottage!

What a quaint property! We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. There were so many birds. It made it very relaxing! The lake was beautiful and the restaurants in town were delicious. We did buy more firewood as we like to cook over the fire.

Heavenly break

The property and the host went above and beyond expectations. The photos do not due it justice for the peace and relaxation this cottage gave. I can not describe the serene solitude in this fairytale like hideaway that we had the pleasure in staying in for just a few days. The host has so many amenities already prepared for you, anticipating almost every possible need. Can not wait to return and can not recommend enough.

What's not to love!

Not a detail of comfort nor cleanliness was spared with this dear little cottage in the woods within proximity of a lake. It felt like glamping, but with all the touches of a boutique hotel. We enjoyed all the lovely details, especially the fireplace (indoors and outside) plus well-appointed kitchen and laundry/bath. Definitely plan to return!

Fairytale Cottage.

Absolutely gorgeous property, well maintained and very clean.The pictures don't do it justice! We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The hot tub was a treat. We also lived the wood burning fireplace. The bed was firm and comfortable. Hosts were wonderful as well.

Just as advertised

We were both pleasantly surprised once we opened the cottage door. Everything neat and clean. Perfect place for a little getaway! Difficult to find a restaurant in the area that was open so next time we’ll bring food to cook (but that didn’t take away from the cottage itself.) We loved it!
