2/10 – Terrible

Points faibles : Propreté, communication et exactitude de l’annonce.
Walked into dead roaches in middle of kitchen, proceeded to kill over a dozen within first hour. Bunk beds are so small and cannot sleep anyone over the age of 10. Solution offered was an air mattress. No way were kids sleeping that close to floor surrounded by roaches. Couch mattress is very old and very thin, like sleeping on a metal spring. Expedia was horrendous to deal with. It was like we were on trial having to produce video evidence of roaches. We were finally able to leave the property after 5+ hours on the phone until 2am but still charged over $900 for two nights. The beach access is a tiny strip of public peach that is jam packed with people. Both sides are private and you cannot sit there. It was a ridiculous situation. Over 15 times to 30a and this was the absolute worst visit. Will never book here or with this management company again. I will also avoid Expedia at all costs, even though I have been a customer for over 20 years. We should not have been treated the way we were.

Great location with a few hiccups

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great location for the beach and any restaurants in the area! Get yourself a bike and you can be anywhere in 10 minutes. The internet did not work the entire time for our trip which was a bummer. Also, our washing machine broke on day two of our vacation and wasn't fixed. But the stay was still good and we would stay again.

Great location, but needs a deep clean.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: location across the street from public beach accessCons: Very outdated unit, cabinets don't close, old bathtub etc. l'm need of updating but livable!Tiny ants in every room, including spaces like inside the washing machine, on the bed, on the couch, in the bathtub, side table, kitchen walls and counters. We couldn't sit on the couch for the duration of our stay. The management company was quick to respond to this issue and had it treated immediately, which was nice. But, the problem persisted until our vacation was over. It was the most uncomfortable stay we've had due to this problem. The complex is older and also in need of clean up and updating, but area is quiet despite being near 30a.We left the unit cleaner than we received it.Really the unit just needs a deep clean(under beds & nightstands etc.), monthly pest control and a simple facelift. If it wasn't for the ants, it would have been tolerable to stay there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very comfortable. The beach access was a little further than expected/advertised. Our last night there was a major power outage in the area. It would probably help to have candles/flashlight available in the property.

Beachwood Villas 3A

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and layout of this condo is nice and convenient to 30A and several restaurants. The bunk beds are a nice addition for kids to sleep. The listing showed a play area for small kids that we planned to use for downtime with our kids but we were informed by a heavily intoxicated person, also at the complex, that it had been torn down. The water heater in this unit needs to be upgraded to account for more than two guests. Showering for multiple people takes quite a while due to hot water capacity. Washing dishes or clothes has to be done when showers aren’t needed due to hot water usage as well. Overall, the condo is nice, clean and good location but we would not book this property again.
VrboOwner a répondu le 18 juill. 2023
John, Thank you for bringing your family for a Beachwood Villas vacation. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the location and a few amenities of this unit. We sincerely apologize for the issue you experienced with the hot water heater and have shared that information with the proper departments so we can look into an upgrade. Our listing this March has up-to-date photos of the courts, pools, and community lawn area available at this complex. Should you ever return to the area and have another interaction with someone unpleasant, we do recommend reaching out to the police. We welcome you all to return in the future in hopes we may offer a better beach vacation to your family. Sincerely, Benchmark Management

Perfect spot for family of four

We had a great time with our kids (ages 2 and 6). Super easy walk from the condos to the beach and quick drives to Seaside and surrounding communities. Sad that it rained during our trip, but didn’t ruin our vacation. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome Beach Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely beach vacation. The condo was updated nicely and was the perfect amount of space for our stay. My husband and I traveled with our 2 children age 4 and 6. The bunk beds in the living room were perfect for the kids. This condo is at the front of the complex and was a very short walk to beach access. We also loved the bottom floor location so we could easily put our things that were wet from the beach on the patio. Other bonuses were a washer/dryer and king bed in the master bedroom. We would love to stay here again. Fantastic condo.

Not the best!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I know there are bugs everywhere, but this was a little over the top. We killed roach after roach after roach. Two of the five days in this condo we killed 7 roaches. There is way too much furniture in the bedroom, you can’t walk around the bed. Loved that it had a king size bed but take out the huge dresser. The place was just not up to standard. We have been staying at Bewchwood Villas off and on for over 20 years and this was the worst. Too many bugs and not very comfortable.
