La Crita Casita # 1

Les Crestone Casitas sont des suites de luxe privées joliment décorées; chacune comprenant une salle de bain complÚte avec baignoire et douche, une cuisine complÚte avec coin repas, un petit salon avec cheminée, canapé et table basse. Toutes les suites disposent de deux entrées séparées dans la suite, l'une avec un accÚs facile au parking, et l'autre une porte coulissante en verre ouvrant sur un patio privé donnant sur les beaux jardins. I had a wonderful time visiting Crestone and the breathtaking views of the Sangre de Christi Mountains. This was my first stay at Crestone Casitas and it did not disappoint. The accommodations were very clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were hotel quality. The sliding door lead out to a beautiful lush garden with trees, flowers, and wind chimes. There were books and magazines about the area which were very helpful in familiarizing me with the nearby sites.The host Erin responded immediately to any questions throughout my stay.I had an amazing experience at Casa Casitas and will definitely be returning next spring.

A little piece of paradise

I stayed over a long weekend and it didn't feel long enough. The casita is so beautiful and so comfortable. I cooked dinner every night and had everything I needed. The bed is incredibly comfortable. The view into the courtyard is amazing. That garden area is so beautifully done! I definitely will come stay again!

Peaceful return in Old Town Crestone

The property was excellent, we were surprised to find no TV or A/C but there was plenty of other activities. The property is adjacent to a working farm of sorts with live chickens. Rooster crows in the morning meant dawn had arrived. The inner court yard was an literal oasis; green moist grass, shady trees, artful sculptures, a hammock, colorful nature themed murals, a rock garden, a tiny meandering brook. The sliding doors opened onto this oasis and created additional space to relax. There was a nearby "green" cemetery that I discovered as a result of my geocaching pursuits. We ate at the Mystic Cafe three times, a wonderful restaurant in the town of Creston located in an old hotel that offers Buck's (?) wood fire pizza on certain nights. We hiked the nearby North Crestone and Willow Lakes trails and ventured through the entire length of Baca Grande, the more modern sprawling development, to the Cottonwood Trail Head. Blanca Wetlands is an hour away but worth the drive. We went on a rainy day with low hanging clouds which made the muted fall colors that abound in the area magical and cool temperature wise. Zapata Falls and the Great Sand Dunes are also with reasonable driving distance and rounded out our San Luis Valley adventure.

Peaceful stay

We loved our time here! The room was clean, comfortable, and cute. The courtyard was beautiful and peaceful. The instructions to the property were really easy to follow and check in was a breeze. Crestone is a quirky little town that's definitely worth checking out. We would stay here again!

Quaint Casita in Crestone

The King suite was just wonderful. Checking in was easy. Bed comfortable. Place very nicely decorated and clean. We found that much of the establishments were closed upon arrival but the Wood fired Pizza place (not on Apple Maps ) saved the day! Excellent pizza! The brewery appears to be closed and for sale.

Nice small home

Nice home, very clean and well furnished. It would be nice to have a TV to relax with and get news after a long day playing outside in the mountains.
