Conversion de Grange dans une belle campagne, 4 couchages

La grange nouvellement converti est situé dans plus de 6 acres de terre dans le paisible village de Llanvetherine seulement 10 minutes en voiture de la ville de Abergavenny de marché. La grange est prÚs de la piste Offas Dyke et autour de 5 minutes en voiture de la base de la montagne Skirrid, il est un endroit idéal pour ceux qui aiment marcher.

La grange est chauffée avec du chauffage central au gaz et un feu électrique supplémentaire est situé dans le salon. La cuisine est équipée d'un four électrique et plaques de cuisson, micro-ondes, un réfrigérateur et un lave-vaisselle. Le salon dispose d'un grand écran de télévision canapé trois acculé et large qui est lié à Freesat.

Il ya deux chambres, une double et une twin et la salle de bain a une salle de bain avec une douche Ă©lectrique dans la baignoire.

The cottage was very nicely presented and came across as being cared for. The sweet treats on arrival were a nice touch and we appreciated the heating being put on for us.We would have appreciated a welcome/information pack with the large goods instructions and times of the heating and hot water, as well as recommended places to eat or visit, perhaps from previous visitors. We REALLY appreciated the level of thought for our dog, with the provision of towels and throws especially for him. In over 20 years of holiday cottages we have never encountered such enthusiasm to accomodate our dog. I do worry as he gets older about the laminate flooring rather than carpet but understand the easier cleaning aspect. But Y Stablau was a very lovely, comfortable, peaceful place to stay and we would love to come back.

We loved staying at Y Stablau! The house had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The children loved having so much outside space to explore. One day, we walked to White Castle but otherwise we needed to do a short drive each day to explore Abergavenny and the local area.

Lovely place, so quite in a middle of a field, lots of birds to watch. Feeling so refreshed.

Very clean and comfortable. All you need in kitchen equipment. Large supermarket not far away. Only thing we could get was a phone signal but we used the WiFi instead.

Perfect dog friendly property

This was our second stay here and we there will be many more. Idyllic location surrounded by wild flower meadows. We even watched deer out of the kitchen window. Superb location for walking and generally relaxing.

IDYLLIC SPOT

This was our third visit (possible fourth) and it was a pleasure to return. It is an excellent spot for those who love nature and walking, there are many great walks from the door and especially when you have collie dogs as we have who are happy to roam in the hills for hours. Lots to do in the area and good food to be had in local pubs. The property is always comfortable and spotlessly clean. We love that the property is surrounded by the big meadows even if the grasses and dandelions were so tall we could lose our feet! Peaceful, remote yet close to Abergavenny for shopping etc. Love it! We will be back.

A trip too far

Unfortunately I did not see the step down on your paved patio. I fell rather badly and hurt both feet. As this was a walking break it completely ruined my experience. I think you should do something to highlight the step so people can see it more easily.

Peaceful place to stay

Booked last minute and wow. Bigger than I imagined from the online photos. Stunning place if you fancy a remote stay, yet Abergavenny is only 8 mins drive away. Everything was so clean and tidy, well equipped and good internet! Took a walk up to the white castle which can be seen from the barn. Spent most of the weekend bird watching.

Wonderful time at Y Stablau

Absolutely loved it here, so peaceful and quiet. Just we wanted but within easy reach of Abergavenny and Monmouth for provisions. We loved it so much we are going to book for next year!

Beautiful little cottage

Much nicer than the photos! Beautifully clean and cozy! Very well equipped, everything and more than you would need, washer with dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Comfy beds, beautiful linens, plenty of thick towels, nice tiled bathroom. One of the nicest cottages we’ve ever rented. They even put up a little Xmas tree for us!

Y Stablau

We really enjoyed our stay here over Christmas. Barn is in a very quiet and peaceful location, and was clean and very warm and cosy with heating on. Located on a large field, which was ideal for our dogs to go out. Just a 15 minute drive into Abergavenny, which has some lovely little shops, a market and plenty of places too eat. Would love to visit again sometime.

My 60th Birthday

My 18 yr old son, 7 yr old dog & I went for 2 nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The barn is very comfortable & cosy. Instructions to get there was spot on. It was very clean except for a couple of cobwebs with spiders in the corner of the main bedroom & lounge but this didn't bother me. Throws & towels provided for dogs, loved sitting outside with a cuppa in the mornings watching the sun come up. This accommodation was ideal for going out walking in the day & chilling in the evenings.

Great for dogs

Idyllic cottage for people with well behaved dogs. Completely stand alone cottage surrounded by fields which our dogs loved to run and play in in safety. The cottage was well furnished and cozy (even the dogs were provided for with a box of dog towels). The cottage itself is close to Abergavenny where there are many nice places to dine out or takeaway. We thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing week or two with furry friends.
