Family vacation

We had a great time! It was a very nice home and the hosts were responsive to a few things that needed to be addressed. The pool and jacuzzi were great and the location is near lots on the cape which make it great. The beach is also very close.

This house was not ready for guest on any level. It was nearly impossible to enjoy the home. Almost every feature was unusable due to it being filthy, unsafe, or just plain unavailable. Very little was done to fix any issues, and it felt like a swindle given the price.

Reconnection

14 family members catching up with each other's lives as covid has given us all a separation. Was a healing of our hearts as i am into 6 months of a terminal cancer diagnosis

Large, spacious home. Ample parking and great for large groups and family reunions. Highlights were the outdoor pool and proximity to Chatham and nearby beaches. Overall we had a great time. For the premium price, I wish the property was better maintained. Our biggest issue was that the hot tub was not properly cleaned and the water was murky. The issue was reported to the host but was not addressed during our stay. Other things like clogged bathroom sinks and empty BBQ propane tanks cheapened our experience.

Lovely property

This is a very unusual house for the Cape--very modern in design. Big windows, large open living room/dining area, lower level with two bedrooms and a bunkbed, and a loft with a sleeping couch. Heated swimming pool and hot tub, set in the woods, which we enjoyed (once the maintenance guys got the heater for the pool going). Very comfortable place to hang around inside and outside. It's about .6 miles to the very cool Jackknife Beach---but it's a walk on a main road so it's not necessarily or comfortable walk. One caution---like most VRBO homes, this is not set up for those with accessibility issues due to age or illness---grab bars in the bathroom; a spiral staircase which cane be challenging to go up or down a floor; no railings to walk into the pool. This won't matter to most families but if it matters to your family, it's something to pay attention to.

Family reunion

We had a small family reunion over a long weekend. The property was great, the pool is so nice. A dog-friendly beach is nearby. Close to shops and stores

Good for families only

Nice layout for families with swingset and rooms on one floor for kids. Master bathroom dirty but other areas pretty clean. Well kept kitchen and living space. Close to large stop and shop grocery store within walking distance if needed but secluded area which was nice for privacy. However when showering there is a window to outdoors in shower with no frosting etc. Our booking was last minute and approval process took many steps but it worked out and the management company was thorough and responsive. Overall, good for families but overpriced.

Mixed feelings

The management company is difficult to deal with. They cancelled my reservation within 24 hours of the request.(this was after a demand for full rent which they had been sent. Then they wanted additional copies of my credit card faxed to them . I had to call and email several times to get the pass code and any instructions. The list of don’t is long . Ie. “No one should be on the pool area including the eating area after nine pm. No packages sent to the house unless there is prior approval.” There are cameras positioned on the pool area which we found creepy.! We were supposed to enter the home at four pm but the cleaning crew only showed up at 3:30. We had to wait 45 minutes for them to finish and then the towels they washed were still wet. They pool I is lovely but there are no instructions on how to operate the pool cover or for that matter nothing throughout the house as a welcome . Lastly the house is not air conditioned and even with fans it was hot! I don’t think the house is a good value for that reason. One last caveat ——there are multiple wild coyotes close to the property that howl and thrash through the bush.

Superb Family Time

We enjoyed family time together in this well-kept property. Located conveniently close to beaches, long-pond, and bike paths. Pool, hot tub, and outdoor shower were fun. Kitchen was large enough to cook family feasts that were tremendously enjoyed at the screened porch. We would like to stay here again!

Cape Cod gem

Very spacious, comfortable, perfect location, great pool and hot tub as well as screened in dining area with barbecue. Very well equipped Kitchen. Easy access to beautiful nearby beaches and towns. We hope to be back.
