Jen is a very kind, responsive, and communicative host. She checked in often (a couple times each day..) and was helpful throughout our stay. (She lives directly next door.) Feeling bad because of how kind she was is the reason I’m rating it 3 stars instead of 2.That said, the home itself was a major disappointment and did not warrant the cost or meet expectations. The yard is not a secluded woods area- as I felt it appeared from the photos. It’s run down- another thing I did not feel was conveyed in the photos. It’s the kind of place where you wouldn’t worry about kids damaging anything because everything is already very beat up & dingy. When we walked in, we were honestly disappointed, as we expected much more for the cost. The game room was a nice feature and definitely the highlight of the house, but it wasn’t enough to offset the condition of the rest of the property.The master bed was uncomfortable, the bedding was not great, the showers felt gross. If this home were priced significantly lower—closer to a third of the cost—I would likely rate it higher. At this price point, though, I expect quality, cleanliness, and comfort, and this home fell short in those areas.If you have small children, & don’t want to be in a nice rental where you worry about them damaging anything, this is the place for you. However, for my family, this felt like a serious waste of money.

Great House

We had a great stay. The house was located near everything we wanted to do. The game room was especially fun and we relaxed near the fire every night. The host was responsive and made sure our needs were met. Highly recommend.

We had a great time! Jen was very communicative! The game room was a hit! Nice to relax in the hot tub as well. Plenty of dishes, pans, and utensils. We really enjoyed our stay; and neighbor Cory was very helpful!!

Great place for kids and adults.

Great roomy, clean, fun place. Brought my four grand kids ages 9-14 and four adults to have a quick, cool getaway. The kids couldn’t be happier. The game room was the biggest hit. We hiked, visited Bearizona, enjoyed the hot tub and relaxed. Very close to shopping, restaurants, skiing, etc. I highly recommend this place.

Summer Escape from Phx Heat

Flagstaff Paradise

We loved the house, the location and especially the game room. It kept our teens entertained for hours! Our host, Jen, was extremely communicative and the couple of small issues we had were addressed immediately. Would def stay again and highly recommend!

Fun place

Enjoyed our time in Flagstaff. The house has a lot of fun games to keep kids busy. We enjoyed the hot tub and back yard. The only downside was that the yard was full of spider webs which we cleaned up and the floors could use a deep clean. Overall a good stay!

Family Vacation

Place is perfect for a family. Game room and hot tub were a big hit. Location is nice for making trips to Grand Canyon, Meteor Carter and hiking trails. Lots to do. Host was very responsive with messaging. Highly recommend.

Fun Place

Went to Flagstaff with 7 others for discgolf weekend and the house was nice. Three 1 bed rooms and 2 sets of bunk beds in the other plus game room with pool table and a Hot tube in the backyard … if i go back to flag I’ll stay there again

Great house!

This is a good house in a good area! Close to town and in a safe neighborhood. Backyard was great and so was the hot tub. Plenty of room for big family gatherings!

Awesome stay!

My husband, 6th grader, and I met my mom and sister here for a fun stay and trip to the Grand Canyon. This property was perfect for us. We each had our own room, enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor area was a peaceful place to start the mornings, and the loft/ game room was a big hit! There are trails nearby to explore when only part of our group wanted to hike. The owners are very quick to respond and great to talk to. It is a split level house with all the bedrooms and the two bathrooms on the 2nd level with another short climb to the 3rd level/ 2nd floor loft, in case anyone has issues with stairs. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely hope to stay again if we ever get a chance.

Hi! I am an Arizona native, living in Flagstaff for over 20 years now. I enjoy movies, hikes, learning something new and spending time with family.
We have been hosting for about five years, and have enjoyed the many guests that have come to visit already. I love hearing about our guests sightseeing adventures to the Grand Canyon and all around Northern Arizona.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I love this house!!! It is large and has several places for groups to hang out. The two living room layout of the house allows for privacy and smaller groups to visit. The kitchen is open, so you can hang out and chat while preparing meals. The fireplace adds the perfect amount of ambiance.

The hot tub outside is large and luxurious. Nothing quite beats hanging in the hot tub when it snows and there is a deer grazing nearby. Sometimes raccoons will dart by and squirrels are always curious. The back patio has a fire pit (when fires are allowed by the forest service) and tons of space to relax and enjoy being outside.

Hands down though, the best part of this property is the game room. On a third-floor loft, there is a large pool table, darts, arcade games, and a large-screen TV, and it quickly becomes the perfect place to relax, unwind, laugh, and have fun.

The house is in a residential neighborhood, but it is a very quiet culdesac... we enjoy our peace and quiet and soaking up all the goodness of living at the base of Mount Elden.

The property is centrally located in Northern Arizona. It is within the city limits of Flagstaff, just minutes from downtown. It is secluded yet near everything. The best part for travelers is that it is just minutes from the Interstate 40 and Highway 89 that leads to the Grand Canyon.

There are hiking trails one block over, so you can go for a walk in the wilderness without having to drive to a trailhead.
