Leave the city behind, and unwind at Round Mountain Retreat! Located on 6.5 acres at the end of the road, you will find the serenity you deserve, less than 5 miles from downtown Silver City. Relax in the tastefully decorated living room, featuring luxurious leather furniture. 3 bedrooms provide plenty of room for the whole gang! Unwind on the front deck, overlooking a peaceful meadow and seasonal pond, a sanctuary for the abundant wildlife. The fenced backyard is nicely shaded. If you enjoy the outdoors, you will love Round Mountain Retreat!!!

Lovely desert get away.

The space is cozy and clean. Enjoyed waking up to amazing stars and the sound of crickets at night. Scott and Denise were great hosts!

Amazing

Really enjoyed staying at Round Mountain Retreat. The views of the wildlife are incredible, and easy access to the Gila and other walking trails were awesome. Very quiet and peaceful, and the stars were plentiful. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Scott was a wonderful host and made us feel most welcome! He delivered our forwarded mail and helped us with the management of our TV on a couple of occasions. We enjoyed chatting with him too. And yet he made sure we had a sense of privacy. Our accommodations were clean comfortable and fully supplied. Although we had no pets we enjoyed the local wildlife...rabbits and deer.

One of the best VRBO

One of the most relaxing stays we have had in years. The home has everything you would need for short or long stay. The home was very clean and as advertised. Scott is welcoming and friendly while giving you your space. He responds to any request within moments. An added bonus are the many hiking trails just outside your front door. Thanks to Scott and Denise for a wonderful stay!

I stayed at the Round Mountain retreat for seven weeks while I got to know Silver City and the surrounding area, and by the end of the visit I had decided to move here! The property is adjacent to public lands that you can hike on for anything from a half-mile loop to the top of a hill to see the sunset to a multi-loop hike up into the Gila National Forest that could take a full day. Being able to sit on the deck and watch the sunset in the middle of winter was a real treat. Indoors is cozy with a wood stove and soaking tub that made the winter days more pleasant. Scott and Denise were kind enough to let me stay with my cats, and I brought blankets to put over the lovely leather couches to make sure the kitties didn't damage them. I'd highly recommend their place for folks looking to enjoy a long stay in a lovely setting and a fun little town.

We love the Round Mountain Retreat!

If this place is available, you should look no further and book it! Scott and Denise went above and beyond as hosts. We appreciated their warm hospitality and local knowledge in recommending everything from great hikes to a good auto repair shop. They were always very prompt to reply and had great communication. The home itself is lovely and comfortable; we felt quite at home for the month we spent there. Evenings on the deck surrounded by natural beauty and peaceful quiet were priceless. The house is surrounded by national forest, and offers endless hiking opportunities right out the front door. We absolutely loved our stay here in every way and look forward to returning again soon.

Perfect Stay

We rented Scott's beautiful home for about 3 months, and it was perfect! Scott was very kind and responded very quickly. We HIGHLY recommend staying here!
