Jenny was a marvellous host. She was really helpful with good communication and happy to let us get on with it unless we needed help. We had a three month stay we loved the cottage and Honley is a lovely town with lots of restaurants a really good Co op all within walking distance. The surrounding scenery is really beautiful.

The cottage is lovly and has everything you need for a stay. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Jenny the owner is lovly and thoughtful, the extra touches made our stay. The cottage is a stones throw from the centre of the village, with some great shops and places to eat but also we found some amazing walks within 5 minutes on foot. Only negative is the parking, if you have a large car its a tad tight to get out if you dont reverse in when both neighbours are home.The cottage is in a perfect location to explore last of the summer wine country, Holmfirth has so much character and a brilliant chippie oh and of course Nora Batties cottage.

Just perfect. This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful cottage and we really enjoyed our time there and Jenny is just the perfect host. Short walk to shops, restaurants and all amenities and Dob Cottage has everything we needed and more.Can highly recommend as certainly lives up to expectations and more.

Dob cottage

The cottage has everything you need with cafe's, restaurant's and supermarkets nearby i highly recommend the accommodation and will be using them again on our next trip

Ideal location

Our second stay at Dob cottage and again the cottage was spotless and comfortable. It is ideally located in Honley centre and in easy reach of lots of interesting and spectacular landscapes.

Wonderfully comfortable and fab location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is so central, the sun shines into the upstairs living area and the beds are so comfortable. Jenny is a gracious host and the location is central to all we wanted to do. Would definitely recommend, thank you Jenny .

We were made to feel very welcome in this warm and cosy cottage. The parking space was great and we were pleased and surprised to find so many good places to eat within a short work (especially Punch Tapas).Jenny has obviously gone out of her way to think of all the extra touches to make this and lovely place to stay. Highly recommended

A very well appointed property in a quiet location. The owner lives close by and is friendly and helpful. Plenty to see and do in the area. We can thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Tip-top property

Excellent cottage, great location. We found it was an ideal base for visits around the area including Holmfirth and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped.

Honley stay

Beautiful cottage in a central location

Absolutely wonderful stay,would recommend this cottage very highly.Stylish, clean and is in a lovely village close to shops and places to eat. Great fish and chip shop around the corner. Friendly owner,but leaves you to enjoy her exceptional cottage.

Thank you so much for your review. The locality of the cottage is one of its best attributes - no need to use the car to go for a meal or a drink. Home delivery too, when the feet ache after exploring the beautiful countryside (maybe not from the fish and chip shop!!!).
