This home was a perfect fit for us for a long relaxing weekend before our girls went back to college. It’s very well located. We absolutely loved the game room and the outside hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware so we made meals a number of times as well. Our host was very responsive and it was just a wonderful experience.

My biggest complaint is that the smoke detector for the loft upstairs was laying on the ground with no battery in it. Our son was sleeping up there and I didn’t feel that was safe not having a smoke detector up there. The hot tub was foamy which means that it was dirty. We did not use it.

So many broken things, blinds, fans, lamps, so hot upstairs, and none of fans worked like the tower fan provided. House is different from pictures. Found a heavy weighted inappropriate toy in kitchen, coffee pot was cracked. Host was supposed to refund 4 days later, they didn't even send refund to appropriate place, that they said they were going to do. I could keep going with housekeeping issues

Not too far from the main strip of Pigeon Forge while still making the location feel like a cabin in the mountainsWe appreciated the cleanliness and amenities available!The two bathrooms are inside the two bedrooms, so anyone who is not staying in those rooms will have to enter either of the bedrooms in order to go :)

The cabin it's self is very nice. House keeping had missed a bathroom trash can, floors need mopped, human feces missed on the wall and base board in the 2nd bathroom. On the plus side, the beds were comfy, plenty of towels were provided.

The amenities in the house weren’t great. The hot tub didn’t heat up, the pull out couch upstairs was broken, stains all over the carpet upstairs, the beds were hard as a rock, broken chairs and tables, the outside grill was gross, there wasn’t an air hockey table, the back door didn’t unlock hardly, the whole place was so dusty, I reached out to the renter and never got any answers back, the WiFi didn’t hardly work, tv in the main bedroom didn’t work, the fan didn’t work. It was close to stuff to do and places to eat.

Wonderful trip

We had an amazing stay at Happy Trails. The cabin is in a great resort in an awesome location. Four adults stayed comfortably and enjoyed cooking here for our stay.

Wonderful cabin and location!!! Had everything we needed and was close to everything yet far enough out we felt like we were the only ones there. Felt very safe and right at home.

Nice Family Cabin

We enjoyed our stay here. There are some things that could be updated in the cabin, but overall it was very clean and cozy. The host was very helpful and wanted to ensure we had a great experience. Location is great as well- a secluded, mountain view, but only a couple miles from the main strip.

Host answered all of our questions. The cabin was nice and clean. We had eight people in total and the pull out bed was broke so it made things a little difficult for sleeping situations. The TV in the master with the big tub sound kept going in and out and very static. The hot tub buttons didn’t work. For the amount of money we paid it would have been nice for those things to work properly but other than those we had a fantastic time. The view was nice the property was very clean and enjoyable.

We got into pigeon. Forge heard about the big snowstorm coming. We never even went to the place. We turned around and left and went back home.

We completely understand your concern upon hearing forecasts about an incoming winter system, and we respect your decision to prioritize safety while traveling. Weather in the Smoky Mountains can certainly be unpredictable, and it’s not uncommon for forecasts to sound concerning, especially for those coming from out of town. That said, during your reserved dates of November 9th through 11th, the actual conditions in Pigeon Forge remained reasonable. There was no significant snowfall during that period, with only a trace amount (approximately 0.01 inches) recorded on November 10th, and roads and access to the cabin remained open and unaffected. Because the reservation was not canceled prior to the 2 week window, and the cabin was fully prepared and held exclusively for your stay, we were unfortunately unable to honor a refund under our cancellation policy when weather conditions did not materially impact access or habitability. This policy is in place to be fair and consistent for all guests. We genuinely regret that you were unable to enjoy the cabin and the experience you had planned. We do hope you’ll consider visiting again in the future, and we would be happy to host you under more favorable circumstances so you can fully enjoy the cabin and everything the area has to offer.
