Notre maison est une propriété en front de mer sur West Bay Beach à Roatan. Qui a été élu «Top 5 des plus belles plages» et «Top 20 lieux de retraite» et «Top 10 des sites de plongée» dans le monde par USA Today. Roatan a également été choisi par TripAdvisor comme la meilleure destination à visiter en 2018, présenté par le New York Times comme "53 Places to Go en 2008", et dans le Wall Street Journal comme "Hot Spot for 2008".

Ceci est une maison Ă  deux niveaux. Vous pouvez louer la maison entiĂšre ou par niveaux individuels. L'unitĂ© Ă  l'Ă©tage peut accueillir 6 personnes. L'unitĂ© en bas peut accueillir 2 personnes. Le niveau supĂ©rieur a deux salles de bain complĂštes et une cuisine sĂ©parĂ©e. Le niveau infĂ©rieur a Ă©galement deux salles de bain complĂštes et une cuisine sĂ©parĂ©e. Un cuisinier et une femme de mĂ©nage peuvent ĂȘtre mis Ă  votre disposition moyennant des frais supplĂ©mentaires par jour. Nancy travaille avec nous depuis plus de vingt ans.

Il y a beaucoup de transats dans la mer en bas; Il y a des livres, des échecs, des dames, des jeux de société pour la famille, et plus encore, disponibles pour passer du temps en famille et se reposer.

Profitez des Caraïbes à vos pieds. Littéralement! Une plage privée avec de l'eau turquoise et un ciel azuré vous attendent. Des plantes tropicales luxuriantes et des fleurs verdoyantes entourent cette villa conçue pour se fondre dans la nature. Hamacs chaßne de palmiers et de couchers de soleil flash un vert trÚs incroyable, briÚvement dans l'aprÚs-midi. Vous pouvez prendre seulement trois minutes pour nager dans la deuxiÚme plus grande barriÚre de corail du monde, une aventure sous-marine trÚs sûre et tranquille! Ou prenez une promenade de dix minutes au parc national de Gumbalimba, qui a un insecte et offre une promenade à travers une bioreserve tropicale, la plongée «Snuba» pour des enfants, et des excursions de canopée sur des lignes de Zip. Peu importe ce que vous voulez faire, que ce soit facile, ou d'aventure, tout va bien sur West Bay Beach.

Excellent location with direct beach access. The beach in front of the house is nice. Great snorkeling, if you walk a few minutes on the beach to the south.The house is comfortable and clean. The Hostess (Nancy, she doesn't speak English, so we mainly communicated via texts) is an excellent cook - highly recommended to order food from her. There are also a few good restaurants near the house.There is a supermarket with basic items next door, but you may want to drive to the West End for shopping. If you need a larger store, "Comercial Ramirez" is the place to go.I'd recommend renting a car

The house was great! Wonderful location and clean and ready to go when we checked in. The host was great and very responsive. It is located just steps away from the beach, restaurants, and a small grocery store our family of 4 kids and 2 adults had a great time.

Don’t hesitate to book

We were 4 couples for 10 days, excellent walking location to everything we needed, Very comfortable space inside, kitchen is well equipped, the covered deck area was very beneficial so we could be outside in rain or sun, outdoor shower was convenient, great beachfront area with shade was a big bonus, all communications with host before & during our stay were promptly answered, no surprises or disappointments.

Perfect Location

We had a lovely stay at Casa Kennedy. The location cannot be beat. We were able to walk absolutely everywhere we wanted and rarely even needed flip flops the whole week! We experienced some glitches with water and electricity but our concerns were addressed quickly. The microwave did not work at all, and we had anticipated a fridge downstairs in the kitchenette, but there was really nothing available to qualify it as a separate kitchenette other than a counter and a sink. Honestly, Roatan is a fabulous island and the people are kind and this includes the team that runs Casa Kennedy. We had a nice time and West Bay Beach is literally paradise.

Beautiful place

House was perfect for our vacation needs. Right on the beach everything within walking distance. Obel the grounds keeper amazing keeping us ready to go daily, Nancy the cleaning person was so polite and there when needed. Host was quick in communication even with time change! Highly recommended for families, big groups or events.

Great location on a beautiful beach

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Kennedy. The location is right on the best beach in the area. Easy walking to restaurants, dive and snorkeling locations and a small grocery store. The house was a nice house with a great wrap around porch. One thing to note is that this is the popular beach so it can be busy with a good night life of bars and restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet beach, West Bay Beach might not be for you. We did start our trip over Easter weekend which was very crowded and noisy. Things calmed down and were quite pleasant after Easter.

Wish it was mine

My family absolutely loved our stay at this property. There were 7 people in our party and it accommodated us perfectly. The staff was available for whatever we needed whether it was cooking an amazing meal, putting chairs out on the beach or taking us on a tour of the island. They were just phone call away. West End Dive Shop was right around the corner and their team made us feel so comfortable in our dives. I can’t say enough about the location of the property though. There were restaurants, shops and even a little grocery store all within walking distance and you could snorkel right off the beach. If you wanted to parasail or take excursions, you could do that right off the beach too or just sit and people watch all day. Then there was the amazing sunset every night. Needless to say, we loved every minute of it.

Paradise Awaits

Our family of 5 (3 college age girls) stayed for a week and absolutely loved it! This is a perfect location on West Bay, within walking distance to many restaurants, a short water taxi ride to West End, and some of the best snorkeling on the island within a 10 minute walk! Having your own private chairs for hanging on the beach was wonderful!! Maritza was very responsive to any needs we had during our stay. Omar was a great resource for our driving needs (airport shuttle, taxi to excursions, etc). Nancy came our last night to make us taco Fritos which were amazing!! (We realized we should have used her more) Our only minor “complaint” was the spotty and inconsistent wifi. But it didn’t bother us since we were there for relaxation and sun! Nothing but amazing things to say about Casa Kennedy and Roatan! We will be back!

Best Private Home on West Bay

Location, location, location. Best location of a private home this size on West Bay. Beautiful view of the ocean, right on the beach, with shade trees to spare. Everything worth doing is within arms reach....beach, restaurants, shopping, snorkeling, water taxis, you name it. The coral reef and sea life were amazing....great snorkeling....such beautifully colored fish. Roatan isn't a 5 star resort type of island, it gives you the real island vibe and was exactly what we were looking for and if that is what you want, I highly recommend staying at the Casa Kennedy!

Our week was better than anticipated, as was the house. Nancy is a true pro at hosting while Omar and his team of drivers are always at the ready - cheerfully. Nancy cooked for us three times. She’s a good and creative chef. Our drivers were always timely and informative. The house is perfectly set back from its private beach that is adjacent to a very colorful active, but quiet beach with many varied vendors, beach bars/restaurants. I find Roatan to be very authentic with old style Caribbean culture. Finally, just a short stroll on the beach is the Hotel Caribe Tesoro. We loved eating Ceviche and excellent fish soup out on the pier. Just book this place.

Amazing location

We had a group of 8 stay in the house with grandparents in another rental nearby. This place was the perfect meeting place. The owner connected us with Nancy who prepared most of our meals for us and did the shopping. She was part of the family by the time we left. Her meals were spot on and we could not have asked for more. All of our expectations with the house were exceeded. Access to the beach was the best on the beach.

Nancy, location, Nancy, location

Absolutely amazing week with family at Casa Kennedy. House was even better than presented, lovely spot directly on the beach in west bay. The most amazing part of our stay was Nancy. Her energy and cooking skills were unreal. We fished with Ruthless charters and she made us an incredible meal with our fish, rice and beans. Another night she made her famous empanadas and home made salsa. She was very sweet to the whole family and very much made us feel at home. Important to note this house is in the middle of everything, great but is a little noisy in the evenings. Felt completely safe where we were, water taxis were easy and got us all around. Ms Kennedy the home owner was a fabulous host, she was kind and prompt with all of my silly questions. We are so hopeful to return , and will forever be grateful for the family experience we received with Nancy and Ms Kennedy.

We are Roatanadians!

West Bay Beach and Casa Kennedy make a perfect outdoor vacation setting! The only time we were indoors was to sleep. Eight of us spent two weeks enjoying the water, relaxing on the lounge chairs, walking the beach, snorkelling and gathering at the table under the covered deck. Maritza is a very considerate and responsive host. We appreciated Omar picking us up and taking us back to the airport. On arrival, it was suggested that a toaster would be nice to have in the downstairs unit. A new toaster was delivered on the second day of our stay. Dario drove us everywhere we wanted to go on the island including frequent stops at a store in West End. Then there’s Nancy who made us three excellent dinners and a delicious breakfast. Her chicken and beef empanadas were our favourite. We all agree that the team looking after guests at Casa Kennedy are second to none. Thank you, can’t wait to return to the island!

Great House - Great Location -

Everything was as pictured. We did have a lack of water situation one morning but came back later and all was working. Think a well pump needed a chance to catch up. They host the drinking water so it wasn't that rough of a situation for us. The house is right in all the action but set back for a bit of privacy.

Memories of a lifetime

I have been visiting the island for more than 20 years and this home was a great choice for our family of six. Yes we had other options on where to stay, including the higher-end hotels within the same beach, but if you are looking for an authentic island home experience, look no further. The memories we made while staying here will always be remembered. We will be back. Aside from some minor updates and improvements this home could use, this home is really a gem that sits on an incredible piece of paradise within West Bay. It was a pleasure working with the host (..and a big thanks to Nancy for baking a soccer ball cake for my kids birthday).

Great home layout and location for Family/ Friend vacation . Beach front property that is private yet still a short beach walk or water taxi from most Restaurants /attractions . Whatever isn’t within -a beach walk distance is feasible via the reasonably priced water taxi ,taxi, or cheap rental cars.

Beach front perfection

We really enjoyed staying here and it was perfect for our family. The house is literally right on the beach, with a restaurant on one side, a scuba shop on the other, water taxis steps away for getting to the West End, lots of little shops and places to eat close by. It was all so convenient! There was plenty of room for our family, or even a bigger group. The little basement "apartment" added lots of extra space and stayed very cool. The AC in the bedrooms was appreciated! The oven/ stovetop was tricky to use since there are no markings/ numbers/ words on the dials to tell you which goes with which burner and you need to light the correct burner with a match. Sweet Nancy came over and demonstrated. She doesn't speak any English and we don't speak Spanish, but Google translate saved the day. 😊 Unfortunately, the renters before us apparently lost the key to the safe box, so it was unusable. That was a little disconcerting, hopefully they'll be able to rekey it for future use. However, there is a security guard for the general area, which helps. Recommendations: Have Nancy make dinner for you at least once while you're there. Her fried chicken is the best we've ever had! Use Omar's driving service. Our driver, Dario, was so helpful and knowledgeable. He set up a fishing trip for us, took us to Jungle Top ziplining (our favorite ziplining experience yet!), recommended restaurants, things to do, and a close by medical clinic for our return COVID testing. He's fantastic! Eat at Argentinian Grill next door at least once while you're there. So good. They'll even cook fish you catch. Blue Planet Dive shop is next door on the other side, just steps away from the house, and steps away from their boats. So convenient! And they have a nice set up for cleaning/storing your gear between dives. Their boats are nice and they dive with smaller groups (8 or less). We had great captains and dive masters. The variety and quantity of coral formations in Roatan is incredible! Take sunscreen and bug spray. Don't drink the tap water or even brush your teeth with it! Not even the locals do. Kennedy House provides all the bottled water you need, so you don't have to stock up at the grocery store. We'd stay at Kennedy House again. It was just right for what we needed.

Great. Nancy and drivers were wonderful. House and deck were very accommodating. Ate all our dinners outside. Bedroom AC’s were very quiet and efficient.

Built in 1990, our beautiful beachfront home was a labor of love. A retired surgeon, U.S. Navy Veteran, and an avid traveler, my husband and I in love with this magnificent beach alongside my two children, drawn to its crystal-clear waters and serene beauty. We were the first house on the beach itself.

Our passion for scuba diving and exploring the world led us here, often to escape winters in Pennsylvania, and we hope you, too, will experience this slice of paradise we’ve cherished for years.
