Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great, stayed here multiple times. Can’t see the numbers on the stove, they are worn off and the vent fan/light didn’t work. Also there was no iron. Otherwise perfect!

Perfect family vacation spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best spot in Panama City Beach as far as I’m concerned. Far enough from the crowds and traffic. Everything was clean. The room was perfect! Beautiful views. Short walk to the beach. Everything we needed was in the room. Property management staff (Tess) was on top of every detail. She handled a touchy situation while remaining professional and kind. Always there making sure everyone was comfortable. There were enough chairs and tables in the pool area to accommodate everyone. We have found our yearly spot!

Helen Phillips is always responsive and accommodating. Her units are well maintained, supplies are complete and appropriate, and housekeeping is perfect. We rented three of Helen's beach level units (in addition to 3 others) for our annual Thanksgiving trip with 30 family members, and there is no better place for us.

We have been staying at Latitude since 2010 for Thanksgiving, and every summer since our kids were little. We love it there. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

Perfect location!

This property is fantastic because it’s on the beach! It’s super convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. This unit is nice to have the bunkroom closed off as a separate room - which was perfect for our teenagers. Well-equipped and updated kitchen.

Alway a pleasure to stay in one of your units. A little anxiety-producing confusion at check in but mostly my fault. Will need to book for next year.

Great beach spot

Proximity to the beach is second to none. However, could use some refreshing. Resolution of the unit owners, on site, harassing renters needs to occur. Overall, great experience with a great group of friends.

Perfect Beach get away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We started coming to Lattitude in 1993 an came until my children were teenagers. Now I have a grandchild and the set up is just perfect for a calm vacation. The unit open right up to the backyard and the pools and beach are all right there. We love that. We do like this unit because it is a Bedroom and an actual bunkroom. We will be back. Everything was perfect. We needed a broom. There is a small cordless vacuum but it was impossible to get everything all the floor. Also, A larger full-length mirror would be very nice too.

Owners/property mgr needs to take pride

First night we were there, knob broke off the dryer. There are no knobs on the washer (needle nose pliers hanging on wall to operate), ice maker made slithers of ice, one side of toaster not working, hot tub not working. This place needs an overhaul. Property mgr never responded to email (said it went to junk folder when she got my first one). Gave it a 2 because the AC worked great and location.

I'm so sorry your stay was not as you expected. First and foremost, this is not the platform to include comments about amenities located outside the confines of the unit. I have no control over those matters. But the hot tub is now fully functional. I did respond when I finally located your email in spam. The dryer handle broke during your use. I contacted an appliance tech. They arrived and assessed the issue. Said parts were not available to repair as the unit is a brand new model. I deferred to owner for warranty repair. It has now been fixed. The washer knob cannot be put on the washer as it interferes with the closure of the barn door. It still functions properly. You made no mention of the toaster needing attention. Housekeeping checked the toaster to make sure it is functioning properly. Ice maker functions. The style of ice cube that it generates is by default.

Love Latitude 29!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been coming here for 30+ years, my entire life. Latitude is our home away from home. If you want that home town feel, on the beach, at PCB, this is it. Small, non high rise is the draw for us. Pool is never over crowded, kids love the kiddy pool, and I can feel the stress melt away in the hot tub at night. Ready to go to the beach? 10 steps and you are there! No mile walk or crossing streets. Guests are kind and low key and you can always make new friends. Safe space, feel comfortable letting our 14yr old come and go from the pool/beach/condo without having to be with her. Want to get in on the PCB Action? You can drive a short distance to the "crazy," have great food, shop, ride gocarts, etc then drive back to the peace and calm of Latitude. We will never stay anywhere else.

Our favorite spot but needs some work

We just finished our 17th year at this spot. It’s convenient & family friendly & the ease of the location is top notch. However, now that Latitude 29 no longer has onsite management, the overall property appears in decline. There are only 2/3 of the chairs that used to be available for families to use near the pool & patio areas. The ones that are there all have broken straps & some were even taped! The grass has not been taken care of and there are bald spots in many places. The boardwalk areas where you rinse your feet are full of sand as you enter the pool area; hence getting sand in the pool. Those areas used to be hosed off multiple times a day when there was onsite management. There’s also an ant problem around the umbrella tables. There are little biting ants when you’re trying to sit and relax with your family. Again, that would not be an issue if there was onsite management. As far as the unit itself, it’s our favorite in the complex. The AC worked GREAT this year! The kitchen is pretty decently stocked with cooking items. However, the ice maker does not work AT ALL. And a mere 4 old school ice trays are all you have available for use which is unacceptable. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable which is a plus. However, with multiple light bulbs burned out in the master bedroom AND bathroom, it’s hard to see much less put on makeup. The master bathroom sink is also clogged. Will we return? YES! But please add onsite management back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoy our stay here. The pool and beach right there. The view is amazing. The main housekeeper we saw and she is so very nice and caring. The condo is nice, we so appreciate the washer and dryer and two bedrooms. The mattress on the twin bed, lower bunk is actually quite comfortable. It is a bit outdated but i hear that it will be updated soon with an ice maker as well. Tess is absolutely amazing and cares very much for the property. Would recommend Latitude 29. We now go to dinner down toward Seacrest, Rosemary Beach etc. Very good places. U

My vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was very nice and clean! The pool was very cold the entire week. Would have liked to see the heater turned on for a bit, also the hot tub was down 5 of the days we were there. The gate that lead down to the beach was not working properly and would not open at times, which was very frustrating! As soon as we arrived we were meet in the parking lot by the property manager asking where our parking pass was! We explained we had just arrived! Not the friendliest way to be greeted just arriving! Many quest were complaining about the way the property manager would approach you about a parking pass as you arrived. Just seemed like she could have approached in a friendlier way. Also while we were there heavy rain brought water up to bottom of our patio door and actually came inside the trac of the door. We were worried for awhile the condo was about to flood. I believe a pimp was out of order on the property. Over all we enjoyed the condo. The pool, hot tub left a lot to be desired!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented 3 different units at Latitude 29 over the years and this unit was great for us because it has standard size bunk beds - big enough for adults. It was a very nice accomodation and we highly recommend it! Helen is friendly and dependable and always ready to answer questions and solve problems when needed.

Latitude 29 unit 3 and Helen Phillips

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying annually at the Latitude 29 for over 20 years now. The change of using outside sources to rent rooms for good or bad, really determines who you use. I highly recommend Helen Phillips because she responds, acts, and makes sure your vacation is great! My Brother dealt with another company and was very upset with their service and lack of responses. The Latitude is awesome and cozy. No elevators and everyone knows everyone by the end of the week because it is just a good family atmosphere with grills, a pool, hot tub and quick and easy access to the beach. Helen is great. There is always the possibility of something going wrong with a room but with Helen, she will get it fixed asap or get your issue resolved.
