Le Owl's Perch-backwoods bnb donnant sur le plus joli ruisseau de Robbinsville, NC

DĂ©couvrez les bois dans cette cabane surĂ©levĂ©e d'une piĂšce de 200 pieds carrĂ©s nichĂ©e dans les cimes des arbres, avec une terrasse privĂ©e donnant sur notre ruisseau de rochers. Cette petite cabine est attachĂ©e Ă  notre pont arriĂšre car nous vivons ici aussi. Suffisamment meublĂ© pour prĂ©parer des repas simples ou s'offrir un petit-dĂ©jeuner payant (prĂ©avis requis). Limite de petit dĂ©jeuner QUATRE jours. Venez vous Ă©vader et vous dĂ©connecter de notre "Eden" appalachien. La vue n'est pas meilleure que ça! (2 miles de la route goudronnĂ©e, tous les vĂ©hicules ont besoin d'un dĂ©gagement de 5 ", 1. 2 mile de gravier / saletĂ© inĂ©gale et de nids de poule. Aucune cellule, WiFi, peut ĂȘtre trop agitĂ©e pour les cycles.

The view from the bed is so beautiful at this time with the leaves changing. Super quiet and the sound of the creek is peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and all the resources from Alice and Doug were super helpful. We would stay again!

2 Days of Tranquility

We spent two days at the Perched Owl and sank into the coziness of the one room suite and found some peace sitting on the private deck listening and observing the river from above. It was a very grounding experience as there isn’t WiFi available and zero service in the area which helped eliminate any distractions. Alice was a great host, very friendly and welcoming and we can’t wait to spend a few more days after spring.

We went to stay one night at this beautiful cabin and it was better than advertised. Sounds from the creek was so soothing. We had a relaxing experience and Alice was great in giving us the directions and making us feel home once we got there. Birding at the Owl's Perch

The Owl's Perch is situated in a remote forest overlooking a beautiful mountain stream. It's a tiny cabin, but very cleverly designed and outfitted. There are many craftsmanship features that help make a stay more peasant and memorable, like the surface of a bedside table made of a think slab of beautiful walnut. The very pretty deck features a trio of locally-carved uprights with animal sculptures. The hosts are very helpful with directions to the many natural attractions in the area. The last couple of dirt road miles approaching the cabin are quite rough, but my 2014 Prius managed it without faltering.Graham County is such a wonderful area and the Owl's Perch is a peaceful and inexpensive location from which to enjoy it.

Lovely property and privacy

This was the first stay we had ever had in close proximity to property owners. And it was perfect. Owners provided the perfect blend of sharing local information and privacy/space. The property was as advertised. Simple, small and private with access to beautiful mountain stream-side sights and sounds.

We're Doug and Alice, originally from IL. We missed our creek property and the slower lifestyle here in the backwoods, so we made our tiny vacation house into our permanent home. We built this separate glamping structure off our back deck to host our family and friends and now you!

Our creek is pretty special and if you're wanting to get away from urban life and up for an adventure by driving slowly down a past logging road, then we're happy to have you! Our boulder filled wild brook trout stream and the peace of the stream set in the woods is something special to experience.

Want to stay longer? We also rent out “The Junction" (#1493247) - a 400 square foot tiny house downstream with full kitchen that sleeps 2, overlooking the same creek.
