Very large rooms, comfortable seating in great room and downstairs family room. Back deck includes screened porch with large table for meals or hanging out and has a lovely peaceful wooded/meadow view.

We had a multi-generation family gathering to celebrate an 80th birthday, and the house was perfect. Large, clean, comfortable, well equipped, with plenty of area to spread out. Very short walk to the beach with a pleasant view out back of the land reserve.

What a PERFECT beach house! We have an extended family of all ages and everyone was so comfortable and happy. Megan could not have been more communicative and easy to work with. Great location and beautifully appointed. Couldn't recommend more!

Great host and house

The house was the perfect size for a large family gathering and well appointed to pull together a big meal. The location was nice close to the beach and on a mostly quiet street in November. The host was super communicative and helpful. Great stay.

We had a great time with my family including small kids. Location was great and the house was big and roomy. I do wish that the grill was working.

Blissful Stay In Lewes

Megans property was an absolute dream! Hands down the best home we have ever rented. The home was well appointed, super clean, and maintained to a level beyond many rental properites. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked to make meals as needed. It was also nice they had beach gear to use if needed or forgotten. The actual beach area was perfect for our family and small children to play at and easy to walk to everyday. We loved it so much and plan to return next year!

Girls wanna have fun

Celebrating a friends 60th bday, girls golf weekend! This house is beautifully kept and was everything we thought it would be plus some. Clean, comfy, spacious, close to beach, relaxing deck and just overall enjoyable. Would highly recommend this house.

Fantastic Family Vacation House

This house was perfect for our family of 8 ( 3 couples and 2 children). The house is jam packed with amenities and was comfortable for all. It’s located down the street from a beautiful quiet beach. It was perfect for my granddaughters. It’s close to the ferry and a variety of restaurants in the charming town of Lewes. We would gladly rebook this house for another vacation!

Great Large Family House in Lewes

While I love all of the cottages that are in Lewes, they don't always fit the needs of a large family or family get together. This house was beautiful and easily fit my family along with my three siblings and their kiddo's. Check-In and Check-Out were super easy. We will definitely stay again in the future!

Family vacation in Lewes

The property and location are wonderful. The house was clean and well maintained. The beach in the area is close and very nice for young children. The one complaint for a higher end property like this was the gas grill. It was old, rusted and basically unusable.

A Great Stay

A/C so good people had to wear extra layers till we changed the thermostats. Grand staircase the kids would run up and down to play in. Full bunk beds slept 4 kids. Spacious kitchen let us cook for everybody. Downstairs has a second living room that let some get away when needed.

Great Family Vacation!

Our family consisted of 6 adults and 4 children. The house is beautiful and spacious enough that everyone had their own space. Loved the kitchen and the outside screened in porch protected from the sun and insects. A short walk to the to too crowded beach which was especially nice for our younger children. Overall a wonderful stay and communication with Megan was outstanding. I give it 5 stars!!!

Beautiful place, Close to everything!

Beautiful house in Lewes, close to everything! Walk to beach, short drive to Cape Henlopen State Park, 15 minutes to Rehobeth and the Cape May Lewes Ferry to NJ. The house was huge, clean and well maintained! We had plenty of room, if not more, for our group of 8 adults! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. There were a few bikes to ride on the garage. We came to Delaware for a family vacation, and the house made it like home!

Stunning home, beautiful location

We rented this home with another family over President’s Day weekend for a change of scenery and the chance to hang out together. It was a COLD weekend so we only went out to the beach once, but we had a lovely time gathered around the dining room table playing games and assembling jigsaw puzzles. The house is absolutely gorgeous. We adults used the basement bar a few times, we watched football (soccer) on the TV, and we had plenty of space to relax. The kitchen came fully stocked including lots of cool glassware. We had a lovely time and would totally rent here again.

2022 Thanksgiving

We had an amazing three days of celebrations. Everything was wonderful. The house is amazing as is the location. One block to Delaware Bay and a mile walk to downtown. The living area is super roomy for all of us doing different things. The kitchen was great for preparing our Thanksgiving feast. The property owners were more than gracious….quick responses. Thanks Megan for sharing your home with us. We had an amazing family celebration for our 50th and Thanksgiving. Totally recommend your property. A very happy customer.

The other side of the bay!

As a family we have rented in Cape May Point for a number of years. This last season we opted to test the waters on the Delaware side. Lewis is every bit as charming as Cape May NJ. Our host's home was beautiful in every way. Since it is an almost new property there were some "missing" basics such as clothes hangers. Next year I'll stop off at Dollar General and pick up a couple dozen for the home. All in all a beautiful home. We all are looking forward to visiting again next year.

Our family of five lives in Maryland and we have been spending parts of our summer in Lewes for over 12 years. Our children grew up wading in the bay, fishing off the pier and exploring downtown Lewes. In 2017 we purchased a small beach cottage on Cedar Street in Lewes Beach and fell even more in love with this neighborhood. We purchased this larger beach property in 2019 to serve as a rental property. We hope multi-generational families and groups of friends will enjoy this magical place.
