Good location and nice little place to stay. The on-street parking was handy and the neighborhood was quiet and convenient to restaurants, shopping and Disneyland. However, the place was not very clean. When we checked in, the bathroom was dirty—I had to sanitize and wipe down the bathroom sink, counter and toilet and there was a large amount of hair in the shower drain that I had to remove. The bed sheets were dirty as well. Quite a bit of human hair and what looked like dog hair. I had to wash the sheets and blankets before I felt comfortable sleeping in them. Also, all fixtures in the place were dusty—lamps, nightstands, dressers, corners of floors. Overall, it just needed a thorough deep clean. There were no wash cloths in the bathroom. When I asked Anthony for some, he replied there weren’t any but there were paper towels in the kitchen. Hard to use paper towels for your shower. So we had to find a Wal Mart and purchase our own. Not ideal while on your vacation. Anthony’s communication was fair. I had to ask for check in instructions the day of our arrival. And prior to checkout, I messaged him to ask for any check out instructions and he never replied. So we just had to guess about what to do with trash, bedding, dish, towels, etc. So while the actual property is nice enough, I wouldn’t ever choose to stay here again.

This place is cute and quaintIt is actually a guest house behind the main house.It is perfect for a couple and maybe 1 small childGreat neighborhood with many places to walk to for shopping and food.The SHOWER was amazingI would recommend putting bumpers on the bedframe. My partner left with a large gash in his leg. The walkway between bed and wall is a small place.Somebody complained about the couch, yes it is a bit uncomfortable and if you dont slide it back closer to the fridge yes, you will have a sore neck, but nothing you cant fix yourself.Anthony was responsive and had no issues with checkin.We usually dont visit the same place twice since we like to see all our options.But if you want a cute lil place to hang out definitely book this place.

I had to contact the host about 2 hours prior to our arrival as I had not received information on how to reach the location and instructions on how to get in. This should not be listed as a "Farmhouse". We are from the Midwest and my grandparents lived on a farm and there is NOTHING about this house that makes it a farm house. It is not large, it does not have multiple rooms nor any large rooms at all nor is it surrounded by agricultural land. The views you have from all windows is a fence. The rug in the bedroom should be changed or cleaned. It is very dirty.All of the white baseboards in the house are very dirty and should be cleaned.The futon in the open area should be replaced. It is very uncomfortable. You can tell where people have sat on it as there are huge divots in the cushion. I don't think anyone taller than 6 feet could lay on it. It is not comfortable laying or sitting on it. It is low to the ground so this makes it difficult to get up or stand up easily. So possibly not a 3 person sleeping capacity?While cooking breakfast the smoke alarm went off. We had to quickly go buy batteries as there were none in the home. The alarm would chirp so we had to replace the battery. My guess is this was neglected at time change which would have been October.The best thing about this rental is the location. It was close to what we needed it for. Overall, we felt the host is in it to make money and doesn't consider the guest. No contact during our stay.

This is a fabulous place to stay - well located, very quiet, and the host was terrific. And the price was great. We had everything we needed there. I highly recommend it for a quick visit or longer stays.

The only reason why I put 4 stars is because of the sofa and kitchen chairs. They are quite uncomfortable but the bed was great, the kitchen was very nice and easy in and out of the rental. They offer a parking pass to park on the street which is helpful. Very close to Chapman U which was the reason for our stay.

Loved the house. Convenient location in a beautiful neghborhood. Close to grocery an drug stores. However, on second morning we looked a little closer and found some things could have been a little cleaner--especially the slip proof mat in the shower. The underside was pretty moldy. We tried to clean it but it wouldn't come off. We just rolled it off to the side. Anthony (the host) was responsive to our request for some wash cloths that were missing and always answered my emails i sent prior to our arrival. We would probably stay again if we came to that area. I do have 3 suggestions: 1. Lower the TV in the living area. We had to look up to view our movie. It was really a strain on our neck. 2: Change out the couch. It was very uncomfortable. And 3, maybe try a new cleaning service.

Great experience

Super great experience! It was just me and my partner and I would say it was definitely a cozy fit for just us two. Anthony responded extremely fast whenever we had a question and was super helpful! The location was great in a safe neighborhood near lots of grocery stores to stock up for our stay. We came from NorCal and this stay in Orange was the absolute perfect location for our vacation. We went everywhere from LA all the way to Laguna and San Diego. The location of the place is in the middle of everything which makes everything super convenient!

Clean, modern house. Had TV, washer, dryer, frig and stove that all worked. It was 1 bedroom, but another person could sleep on the sofa if necessary. It also had on-street parking, which is a must for southern California. Entrance door locked and worked perfectly. We enjoyed our stay and felt it was a good value for the money.

Did not in any way look like a farmhouse and the property was poorly maintained. The host was very late to respond as I was actually ready to check in and he did not reply until after check in time. The place had an old rusty gate and I trouble opening it. No instructions for tv. I would NOT recommend.

Good Enough

We stayed at this property from a Monday to Friday. Check in was simple and the instructions for check in were clear and consise. All was good the first few days,...until Wednesday evening, there was 2 fridgerators in this property, one that was servicable and the other with blue tape on the door, assuming this was not working but was still plugged in, we left it alone obviously, but it started making noise at 11pm on Wednesday night waking us up from a much needed sleep. I contacted the owner and he said to just unplug it, I had already done this but contacted him to make sure. The next evening unfortutely was not any better. We again were awaken with a noise which my wife and I couldn't make out, what we were hearing was the electronic key pad to this property and someone trying the code, again and again they tried to unlock the door to no avail, i was going to call 911 until we came to the conclusion that these men were probably confused. I contacted the property owner and let him know, he was already aware of the situation and was trying to correct the problem. These men were spanish speaking so I'm not sure if there was language barrier. This owner has 2 properties, one in the front and one in the back, we were staying in the one in the back, definitely some confusion. We're not sure who is to blame here but definitely a learning experience for the owner and us. We will not be staying at a place where there are 2 units.

Anthony was responsive to all messages. I think his cleaning crew didn’t do the job they normally do for him. And to advertise the house as a, “Farmhouse” is a huge stretch. No views of anything except other houses. The Farmhouse is completely surrounded by houses and brick walls. The only place to sit and watch a movie after being out all day is a tiny, awful, couch. If you just need a bed for a couple of nights
go for it. But, if you’re looking for a place to relax comfortably between activities
keep looking.

Nice quiet neighborhood.

All good, except TV apps. Unable to watch live Tv and or sign into my account. Also, need adult size spoons and forks. Also a nice size bowl to use for a salad etc would be nice
