Located near the heart of Driggs, ID, the small but bustling recreation and resort area in Teton Valley that offers year round activities including art and music festivals, sport tournaments, rodeos, antique fairs and is only minutes from Grand Targhee Resort - a winter and summer destination! The Grand Getaway Condo is a perfectly located home-base for all of your adventures to this breathtaking area just west of the Grand Teton National Park.

While at the Grand Getaway condo, you can expect an exceptionally clean and comfortable stay with all the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. It’s got an eclectic feel with lots of little extras to make your stay comfortable! There's plenty of room for a group of 8 including 3 private rooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of sunlight as well as a picturesque view of the backyard pond and local wildlife.
Whether you're coming to spend a few days on the slopes or coming to spend a few weeks submerging yourself in the beauty of the Teton Valley, our condo is the ideal place for a perfectly comfortable stay.
There is one parking space directly in front of the condo. Overflow parking is located within walking distance if needed.

Great place

The property was clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for cooking. It is also within a reasonable drive time to national parks and Jackson Hole. The host communication was spot on and we were even able to borrow a cooler and bear spray from the property so we did not need to fly with either of those items. Both Driggs and Victor are cool towns. I would definetely recommend this place.

Very nice place.

We were very happy with the accommodations. The only thing that would make it better was if there was AC. It was in upper 80s when we were there, so it was a bit warm when going to bed. It did cool off nicely by morning though.

Our place was comfortable and relaxing. It fit the !8 of us easily with plenary of space for privacy..that’s tough with 8 neatly adults! We will book again!

Great location to visit the Tetons/Yellowstone if you don’t mind driving through such beautiful area

Wonderful stay, enjoying a part of the US we had never seen before. Driggs is a lovely little town not as busy as Jackson, that allows you to visit the national parks around it. Check out the Espresso stand before you start your day. Best iced chai latte you will ever have! Have used home renting services for years and this one was hands down the best stocked kitchen!! Would say even better stocked than my home kitchen which allowed for some wonderful meals and prepping for picnics at the national parks. Communication was a breeze with the host and she was very prompt, responsive and clear in her communication.

Great family vacation!

Our family of six enjoyed our time there. Driggs is a little off the beaten track, but we were able to enjoy Grand Teton National Park as well as some other areas. Bummer that the Spud Drive-In Movie Theater wasn't open when we were there. That would have been fun! The owner had the house clean, labeled, and well-apportioned. She was responsive and checked in with us. Some thoughts: we didn't receive our check-in information until a few days before arrival. At that point, we were on vacation in another location that was without WiFi access. It caused some stress as it appeared my messages weren't being answered. But when we began to drive to this home, it all came through. Possibly a week's notice? At least? Again, the owner was super-quick in responding so that wasn't an issue when we were in the house. I didn't realize that it was a home without AC. It was super hot! (Not the owner's fault) She responded quickly to my messages and said that the original posting listed no AC but I didn't verify that and must have forgotten. I am NOT SAYING that the owner is negligent! I'm just saying that I didn't remember that. She had several box fans, which we used, and that was very helpful. The garage door opener was unplugged and since the garage was empty, we weren't able to reach the roof to plug it in and use the garage for our van. That was unfortunate, but not a deal breaker. The owner said that it had been unplugged in a house inspection of some sort. Finally, the house had a strong smell upon arrival. I suspected smokers had been there. It had been covered fairly well with strong flower-scented sprays of some sort. After being there a few days, and leaving & coming multiple times, I believe that the smell likely wasn't anything fresh. In other words, I don't believe it was the traveler who came before we did. I'm fairly sensitive to these sorts of smells and did notify the owner. She would look into it and I truly believe her. I do not blame her, and she was, as I've said, VERY RESPONSIVE. I hope that it isn't something like possibly the cleaners themselves might be smokers and the smell lingered just enough that I could smell it. Again, these are all just some suggestions. The stay was great!

I'm so glad that you all enjoyed your time at the condo! I just wanted to reply to your comment about a strong smell. Having a high sensitivity to smells myself, I am always very aware of odor, especially cigarette smoke, and have never smelt or had any complaints of a smoke like odor before so I truly apologize for that. I was really surprised to hear that and just couldn't think what would have caused that smell other than possibly the fires in the area that did cause the air to be quite hazy and smoky outdoors during your stay. I wonder if that was it? Our cleaning gals are all non-smokers so I can be 100% sure that it wasn't the cleaners. As for the floral smell, we don't use any sprays in the air other than Lysol which we do use last on all high touch surfaces. It does tend to have a strong smell, but with our updated cleaning procedures, I do ensure that we use Lysol after each guest. I do truly appreciate the feedback though and hope that any unpleasant smell didn't negatively affect your time at the condo.

Trip to Grand Tetons

planned the trip late and was concerned about how far the drive was but no need to worry. The drive was 45 minutes but it was beautiful scenery. Not sure we would have tired of it. The condo was very spacious and clean. Had all the equipment we needed and was well cared for. We would happily stay again!

Relaxing Stay

I and my 2 friends enjoyed a relaxing time staying in this condo. It was close enough that we were able to travel easily to Yellowstone National Park and then another day we were able to travel to Jackson Hole and the Grand Teton National Park. The condo and clean and relaxing to stay in.
