Walk, bike, or take 6 seat golf cart (extra fee) to the beach or walk out the back door to an amazing coastal pine forest. Neighborhood pool access! SOUTHERN SAND BEACH HOUSE: Beautiful beach house 3 blocks from the powder sugar sands on the Gulf of Mexico in the legendary 30A area of Florida. Walk 8 mins to the beach or a 2 min bike ride (We also have a 6 seat golf cart available for a fixed $450). Our amazing house also backs up to the Point Washington State Forest and is next to one of Northwest Florida's dune lakes, an ecosystem found nowhere else in the world. Perfect combination of relaxing nature and beach activities. Our house is located in a wonderful gated community called LAKESIDE AT BLUE MOUNTAIN BEACH. It is tranquil, tree-filled neighborhood with many full-time residents. The neighborhood has a community pool (which is heated March 1-May 1) and a Childrens playset with slides and swings along with picnic benches. The development is located directly behind Red Fish Village and is adjacent to Big Redfish Lake and Point Washington State Forest. Kayak or paddle board rental is available close by for use on the local dune lakes, or the Gulf of Mexico. There is plenty to do in this area without ever getting in your car, but if you feel like a road trip or great shopping, we are a short drive to Panama City and Destin. Both have ample entertainment such as the Gulfarium Aquarium, water parks, dolphin tours, sand bars with boat rental, deep sea fishing tours, shopping, and more.
Blue Mountain Beach sits along the amazing 30A Hwy of Northwest Florida. It is mere minutes from Seaside, Grayton Beach, and Watercolor without the crowd.
