Incredible location — just a 1-minute walk to the pool, 3 minutes to the beach, and about 5 minutes to the Rosemary Beach town center. The carriage house itself was lovely, with beautiful aesthetic decor and everything we needed in the kitchen. Communication with the host was excellent — proactive and easy to follow, and everything was just as described.Ideal for families of up to four. We only gave 4 stars for cleanliness since there was some sand on the dining bench and dust on the ledges where glasses are kept, likely an oversight by the cleaning company rather than the owner. Otherwise, everything was wonderful — the bedsheets were crisp, bright, and incredibly soft. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the carriage house was beautiful. Comfy beds, all the amenities, bicycles for exploring 30A and walking distance to the town. Our only complaint is that we had wished they would have disclosed the construction of the new street right outside the window prior to our renting. We woke at 7:00 am to the home shaking and this went on all day. We unfortunately were unable to enjoy the home due to the noise level. I would recommend you let your next renter know

We just wish that the bathroom was bigger and having some type of built in cabinets beside the bed.

Great Location!!

My family and I had a great stay at Stairway to Heaven. It is a carriage house, so as stated in the listing, it is not particularly large but the second level gave my 7 and 10 year olds their own beds and my wife and I were comfy in the queen. Very short walk to the beach and town center, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Very Cute!

The place was very cute but I'm not sure the person renting the place realized there would be a ton of loud construction that woke us up in the morning and the hot water did not work. The kitchen was adorable but there was a window with wood rot that needed to be replaced. Over all, I would stay here again in a pinch but the hot water was Definitely a breaker for me

Great location within Rosemary

Small but fit our needs for fall break. Was just myself and 2 of our kids, nice to have two separate sleeping areas given carriage house set up. Greatly missed washing machine and dryer. There’s perfect spot for it in unit but not installed. Beach is hard without it! Lots of construction noise but luckily it ended by dinner time. Overall, clean, tidy and great location. Check in process very rigid, was told could not check in early despite home being cleaned due to person coming to do check. No one evert came Witt to check and sat outside with groceries for an hour.

This was not “heaven” by any means

The property was the perfect size and location for our visit. It had some great qualities, however we encountered some major issues during our stay, including: 1. Roach infestation: we killed two roaches in the living area during our stay. We made 3 efforts to contact property management to clean this up (two texts to the number they provided for us to communicate with them) as well as a phone call. The removal was not resolved until our last day of stay. 2. The bikes were not available on the property the last day day of our stay after the family that was staying in the large house left. Although bikes may have been there, we were not able to locate them when we wanted to use them 3. There was only one key although the property management company said there was another one available in lockbox. Also, there was only one pass to the beach which was an issue because the family had to stay together the entire time to enable entry to pools and beach access. 4. The shower did not drain and the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. 5. The bedding was cheap and the pillows were extremely cheap and uncomfortable. 6. There was no live TV available on the television. They have many apps but no working cable televisions. 7. The yard was filthy and there was extensive construction around our property. In closing, our bill included a $300+ cleaning fee. Ironic as management sent a 7-step detailed email with instructions to clean the property or we’d pay a $200 fine.

Carriage house in a wonderful location to pool and beach. Property manager very helpful and prompt! Lovely place but not sure if had been rented in a while.....needs a thorough cleaning. Bathroom a little dingy and could use a "Mr Clean" sponge once over. Incredibly dusty, light bulbs out......needs a little TLC.

Great little place

great little place. The only issue is that it needed a little upkeep, icemaker was broken, chandelier was broken, and the garbage storage area was busted up. they brought me ice though. not big deals but for that kind of money it would be nice for everything to be functional. great location, super close to pool and easy stroll to beach
