Emplacement idéal! Café local situé à 2 portes, Urgent Care au coin de la rue, à 1,5 pâté de maisons de l'autoroute et du centre-ville, à proximité du Colorado College, du centre d'entraînement olympique, de la vieille ville historique du Colorado et de Manitou Springs. Ce chalet 1 chambre / 1 salle de bain des années 1920 a un charme historique avec des planchers de bois franc d'origine, une huche intégrée, des moulures de plinthe et un éclairage antique unique, tandis que les zones d'agrément importantes (salle de bains et kitchenette) ont été récemment rénovées / mises à jour.

Got the job done, was hard to find initially and none of the delivery/uber drivers could find it. Even a family member who lives 8blocks away had a hard time finding. Easy access to highway and downtown area. Nothing quality is in walking distance, have to drive or get a ride. Shower and bathroom could be bigger. TV was not intuitive and instructions did not match remotes or TV. Couldn’t even get a local over the air station.

Charming Cottage

This was the perfect size place for my wife and I. It is located near hiking and outdoor activities and many restaurants. The Cottage was clean and had an old charm. The owners were very easy to communicate with and everything was exactly as advertised.

Sweet Cottage in the city

As we travelled out daily to experience what Colorado Springs has to offer, the sweet cottage in the city was charming. If you love nostalgia, this cottage is perfect! It is quaint, clean and has the modern amenities that you need to be comfortable. Beth and John our hosts were incredibly personable and timely with responses. We had a great stay!!

Loved this cottage! My wife and I stayed two nights. The cottage is well equipped, nicely appointed and very comfortable. The location is also ideal, being just a 5 minute easy drive to historic Old Colorado for dining and shopping. Check-in and out was easy and the hosts were extremely responsive. Thunderstorms were forecasted during our check-in time but Beth contacted us to say the cottage was clean and we could check-in early. Much appreciated! We will definitely rent from Beth and John again.

I have stayed in many VRBOs and this one by far is my favorite. We chose it because it has AC (as in an HVAC unit, not a window unit). It’s in a quiet area, close to garden of the gods and about an hour to Pikes Peak. Note: it takes about 30-40 minutes to drive to the top once you get to the base so an hour away is actually good.Delivery drivers (Door Dash Uber Eats), easily found the place with zero issues. PS looking for good food? We recommend Cheddars. The owners playful humor is evident in the notes and instructions left, inviting you to make yourself at home while also respecting the space.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this house again if we return to Colorado Springs.

We traveled for a one week couples getaway. The room and the property are very well maintained. For being within a short distance from I25, it was really quiet with essentially no traffic noise. The location is within 20 minutes of Pikes Peak, Flying W Ranch, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods and that made it a great value compared to other properties. We would definitely go back.

Cute Place; great location

This property was in a great location and easy to get to different areas around Colorado Springs. The decorations maintained some of its old charm with light fixtures and wood paneling, and it had all the essentials we needed. The bathroom shower was a bit tight, but worked fine for the two of us staying there.

We thought that the place was great to stay in. However the one complaint is the tv. Most VRBOs such as this one only have streaming services. We could not get the services to work even typing in our password, or couldn't get our phone to stream to the TV. We have cable and satellite at home so this is all new to us and we don't like it. We will be more careful with VRBOs from now on to make sure that they have cable or satellite or we will choose hotels so we can get TV to watch. After a day of touring we like to settle in and watch TV. Don't want to have to fight with streaming when it doesn't work. Then you can't watch TV because if you can't get anything to work you are kind of done.

It was good

The cottage was cute and very small. There were cobwebs on the old-timey light fixtures and the screen doors. The other thing is the owners conduct business on their property right next to this cottage. Every morning we had to hear a loud red car park behind the cottage as well as other car traffic coming through.

We welcomed our first son into the world in September of 2018 and daughter in December 2020 and can't wait to travel with them too! We love to hike, run, ski, snowshoe, bike and more! We own and operate 3 vacation rental properties in the Colorado Springs area and love to provide a 5-star experience for our guests!

Beth's parents referred to this little gem as their "honeymoon" cottage when they first moved here and needed a temporary place to land while they got their feet on their ground here. It's close to I-25 and both downtown Colorado Springs and the Historic OCC area. Also just minutes to the Olympic Training Center, World Arena, The Pinery and more!
