Wonderful luxury pet friendly home in Shipyard with great golf and lake views. Updated high end kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances. Wonderful lake and golf course views abound from the home. Wonderful front porch with great views and screened in porch in the back with golf and wooded views. Very unique end lot with wrap around golf and lake views. Updated with new paint, new flooring, new furniture, new TVs and plenty of room for the family. What a wonderful vacation home in Shipyard. Your vacation rental includes bike rentals and beach gear with your stay. You can bring one pet for $175 and two pets for $250, each under 50 pounds. 86 Gloucester in Shipyard is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Head Vacations, Inc, a locally owned company.

High vaulted ceilings make the home feel very spacious. An open kitchen with lots of windows surrounding brings in a lot of light in the dining and kitchen area. Dining area and breakfast area give you plenty of room to feed everyone. The screen in porch overlooking the back yard and golf course is nice to relax in. Grill on the deck or watch the sunset over the golf course from the front porch. Master bedroom downstairs has a king size bed and a full master bath en suite to enjoy. There is one guest room down with another queen bed and access to a full bath. A very nice office is attached to the guest room too. Go upstairs and there are two guest rooms with two queen beds and two twin beds for the family. Another full bath is upstairs too. Living room has foldout couch too. A long driveway allows room to park the cars too. House sleeps twelve people comfortably.

Shipyard has 27 holes of golf, miles of bike paths, Van Der Meer Tennis Center, Sonesta Hotel and beach access so you can enjoy the ocean too. Shipyard is located just minutes from Coligny shops and restaurants. You can enjoy over 30 golf courses, 400 tennis courts, 117 miles of bike paths, 17 miles of beaches, over 200 shops and 250 restaurants while on vacation. Nice home. Was quite warm for December, but the AC and fans all worked. Would recommend more serving utensils for the kitchen and instructions on how to use the shower faucets that I had never seen before. Nice location near Coligny Plaza. Home was clean but needed a few repairs of guest bathroom tile and front porch railing. Ping pong table was nice extra.

The house was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The neighborhood was amazing. A very peaceful place, I definitely recommend it. The house was pet friendly which was a top priority for this trip. Giving 4 stars because the house needs deep cleaning and supplies. There wasn’t enough garbage bags for the kitchen nor any Windex or Lysol spray to clean the kitchen countertops and glass dining table. My husband and niece have bad allergies and they definitely had a hard time sleeping at night. The carpets most definitely need deep cleaning. The fans in the house were dusty and exhaust fan on powder bathroom didn’t work. The room upstairs with the two queen beds wasn’t cleaned very well. The closet wasn’t vacuumed so we didn’t use it and the sheets needed updating. Most things in the house need updating. Other than that, the service was great. There was plenty of towels, toiletries, and three parking passes. I had a question on the first day and called the maintenance number and my call was picked up right away.

Spacious setup with lots of amenities

Loved the neighborhood. Robert was an excellent host! He was responsive and pleasant to work with. The home was great and we enjoyed the added ping pong table downstairs. The upstairs was fine but the beds in the en suite room were concaved and felt like you always rolled into the middle. Would def recommend to others as a whole but may recommend sleeping on the futon instead.

We had a great stay….for 2 days. We had a family emergency and had to checkout the 3rd morning. We were not offered any discount to that week or any future weeks. My question is did they rent the rest of the week to someone else after we checked out on Tuesday?

Great stay

Nice spacious home that allowed everyone their own space. Kitchen was stocked with essentials (dishes, toaster, coffee maker). Could use a bit more attention to detail on cleaning, showers need recalking, peeling on ceiling of shower upstairs. Nothing major that affected our stay. Water pressure was poor and the water took about 10 min to get warm/hot for showers and then didnt last. Location of the property was great, we used the beach access at Sonesta, but Coligny is very close as well. Love the bike trails. Overall nice stay.

Wonderful February visit

The property was just as advertised. My wife and I stayed for the month of February and had some family visit for a week at a time. No complaints. It was mentioned about the hot water, but if you wait a bit (master bathroom and parlor sink), there is plenty of hot water. We both enjoy birding and the property is wonderful for bird viewing. Be advised that you cannot be on the golf paths between 7:00am and 7:00pm but there are sidewalks everywhere to enjoy and explore the Shipyard community. It is a wonderful property.

Gloucester concerns

Hello, I've been going to Hilton Head over 25 years. We have stayed at many locations. We normally stay in Palmetto Dunes. The shipyard was fine for location purposes, but the house was a different story. The cleaning was not up to speed. The spider webs inside & out grossed me out. You could not open the kitchen windows for looking at the webs. The upstairs toilet constantly clogged. drawer missing in master bedroom. Master bdrm shower never warm. Both porches & deck were full of weeds, needed sweeping (bad). Sorry, there is more, but won't go into it. Just have your cleaners do a better job. The entry door window seals were full of bugs and webs. not impressed.

Great place in Hilton Head

The house was wonderful and spacious. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels and even some leftover beach stuff. My only complaint would be the A/C. It never cooled off and the main floor bedrooms at times felt like a sauna.

We love this home!

This is our 3rd year staying here! Each year we fall more in love. Location is great, the house has plenty of space for our large group. The basement with ping pong table is a great spot for the older kids to hang out in. The front porch is our favorite spot of all for morning coffee and evening cocktails.
