GRANDE ZONE, sûr, pas de crime! 8 ou 16 personnes avec la location de la deuxième moitié de la maison (voir le vrbo # 402412). Ce sont deux maisons de 4 chambres à Arabi. Arabi est à St. Paroisse de Bernard (comté). Arabi a une application de la loi supérieure qui ne tolère pas le crime. Lorsque vous séjournez à Arabi, vous pouvez aller profiter de toutes les choses amusantes que la Nouvelle-Orléans a à offrir, mais vous retournez dormir à Arabi sans aucun souci de quelqu'un s'introduisant par effraction dans votre maison ou votre voiture. De plus, vous pouvez marcher en toute sécurité dans les rues la nuit dans ce quartier. Ne prends pas de chance. Passez des vacances sans crime en séjournant dans cette maison!

Ceci est une maison magnifiquement restaurée à 3, 5 miles du quartier français. Quartier très sûr. Beaucoup de stationnement. Aussi, très proche d'une rampe de mise à l'eau qui offre la meilleure pêche du pays. Restez un jour ou deux de plus. Apportez un bateau ou affrétez un capitaine de pêche et partez à la pêche.

La maison a 4 lits king. Il y a 3 salles de bain complètes et un demi-bain. Nous avons terminé la rénovation de la maison en février 2020. A côté se trouve une autre maison avec 4 lits king et 3. 5 salles de bain. Nous avons terminé la rénovation de la deuxième maison en 2015. Nous avons l'air et le chauffage central et une laveuse / sécheuse dans la maison. La maison a une pergola avec table et chaises et un joli porche latéral avec table et chaises. Le porche est un endroit agréable pour s'asseoir l'après-midi avec le soleil se couchant derrière la maison. Du porche, ou une promenade de 2 blocs à la rivière, vous pouvez regarder les paquebots de cruse, les pédalos et les cargos monter et descendre le fleuve Mississippi. C'est la relaxation du Sud à son meilleur. Le quartier français est à 10-15 minutes.

La Nouvelle-Orléans est à trois pâtés de maisons. Le quartier français est à 3,5 milles de cet endroit.

Great stay! We had 3 couples staying a couple of days just before taking a cruise. Quick uber to French quarter (about 25 for an Uber XL each way). Lots of room, nice outside space, nice neighborhood, big dining room table, plenty of bathrooms! Couple things needing attention: Beds and pillows could be updated for sure and kitchen stocked a little better (for example, there was only one coffee cup). Also, you should probably fix the back door lock.

We love this property

Spent four days at this property and we loved it. The pictures don't tell the true story of nice it really is. I loved the feel of it. It was clean and roomy. The neighborhood was so quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner responded quickly when we had a problem with the door. Check in and check out was easy. It's about 20 minutes away from FQ. I will definitely book again when in NOLA.

My daughter, friends and I were in town for Taylor Swift and stayed in Larry’s property over the weekend. It was amazing stay! Plenty of room, clean and in a great neighborhood. Larry is very responsive. Definitely would stay here again on future trips!

This is a beautiful authentic piece of New Orleans architecture in a safe neighborhood, and it's super easy to reach the main downtown tourist destinations (French Quarter) by car or taxi/ ride-sharing service. We were a large group (14 aduluts, 3 children under 2 years old: grandparents, parents and kids), and everyone was comfortable and had enough space in the house to socialize or withdraw for some privacy. (We rented the other half of the house as well- a separate listing). This half of the house had its main entrance in the back of the house. There was also an entrance in the side porch which made it easy to access the side door to the front of the house: The two were connected by a side porch just a few paces away from each other. It has one bedroom on the ground floor and three bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was well stockef. The beds were super comfortable. I grew up in New Orleans and know the city well. This is a great location if you want to park your car on the street without fear of it being broken into. (which is not the case in the Treme or Bywater neighborhoods just down the road). It's also a good choice if you need a little peace and quiet after all the action at the major tourist attractions. The host was helpful and responsive to our needs.Thrre were also some good, down-home authentic New Orleans restaurants nearby- some even walking distance, and grocery stores were close by as well.This place is a gem!

We all really enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to have a list of instructions such as any helpful instructions like garbage collection, how dirty bedding should be handled and any suggestions on where to eat in the neighborhood. All the VRBO's that we have stayed at previously have some sort of guidance on what condition we should leave the property in.

Birthday/Girls weekend

Awesome property! Awesome property owner. We really enjoyed our stay here in New Orleans. Close proximity to the city life, but this was a great quiet place to rest during downtime. We loved it here and planning on coming back. Oh and the store/mart up the street... oh my it is a must to eat there!!! Everything we purchased was delicious! Thanks Mr. Landry!!

Great Time In NOLA

My family and friends had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. Not far from the French Quarter. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. The home had PLENTY of space for all of us. There were a couple of hiccups during our stay, but Mr. Landry was quick to resolve any issues. He even stopped by to check on us and made sure that everything was good. Well, Mr. Landry, we are still talking about our stay there. So much so that we plan on coming back to NOLA next year for the food, fun and southern hospitality!!!

Wedding getaway

The house itself is nice but it does need some upgrades the bed pillows,sheets, comforters and mattress needs updating the pillows have no stuffing they are very flat. The shower curtains and rugs needs to be replaced they are worn and washed out. The chair in the living room needs to be replaced when you sit it goes almoyto the floor. The kitchen door needs to be sealed you can see outside. Very nice home but really needs updating

Daughter's bachelorette trip

He was hesitant to book us due to it being a bachelorette trip but after assuring him that these girls were in their late 20's and 30's, he agreed to. He even complimented on how well it was taken care of after the fact. They got there during the snow which I understand was uncharacteristic. But one of the doors didn't lock at all. The water downstairs was cold the whole time like the hot water heater was out. I don't think that was because of the weather because all of the snow had melted before they left. My son had to keep going to the breaker because the electricity kept going off. Thankfully, him and a friend went as security to watch out for the girls. I find it hard to believe that he didn't know about those issues before they got there. I'm sure the lady that cleans the house had alerted him to some of these. There were other little issues that we would have overlooked, but these were some main ones that I felt should have been disclosed. When I called him he was very nice and said he would look into it but that was it.

Perfect Location! Great host!

This house and location was just what we were looking for! Three teens had their own room. Never waited more than 10 min for an Uber and ride into NO was about 10-15 min. Mr. Landry was very responsive and showed up to fix a chirping smoke detector when we arrived. Plenty of room to eat and watch tv. Bring K cups for coffee. The first couple of nights were cold and the downstairs was quite drafty so bring an extra sweater and fuzzy socks if you get cold! As others have mentioned, hot and cold are reversed on faucets. If you plan to cook, may want to bring some Measuring cups, bowls, knife and cookie/ baking sheet. Not a lot of provisions but most folks don’t come to NO to cook, so wasn’t a big deal to us, but these are things I like To know. We felt very safe here. A must see is sunset behind the city at the Miss River just blocks from the house. We and several others sat and watched the sun set. Conseco Market very near the house has great take and eat options. Get some donuts at Gerard’s. My hubby recommends the Maple Bacon! The Arabi Food market was closed so we didn’t get to try that spot. The home was clean, plenty of linens provided. Would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again. Conveniently located FQ. Plenty of space for group. Parking was good. Behind the house. NEEDS REPAIRS: FRONT & BACK DOORS HUGE GAPS, doors need to be sealed. Rain was coming in like crazy at back door, had to put several large towels around door. It wasn’t good. could slip.(previously reported) back door needs better lock. Has a hanging chain, but no hook. DID NOT feel safe. NO AMENITIES! No bars of soap in shower. I brought K pods for coffee/toilet paper. No dish washer detergent or pods. Should have enough dishwasher pods for the guest’s length of stay. Cooked breakfast each morning. Nothing to clean the counters with. TOWELS/SHEETS/PILLOWS old. NO COASTERS! 1st floor bedroom, where should I begin, tub/shower is CLOGGED. you take a shower in ankle deep water. No safety bars. This bedroom SMELLS BAD. I thought it was musty. BUT it is MOLD. There’s an oscillating fan in there probably due to mold. Look at the ceiling, you’ll see it. But you’ll def smell it! When you walk in back door, you get a whiff of it.. BAD FOR health. bathroom door 1st floor bedroom, handle is broken. same bedroom has smoke detector BUT detector just has electrical wires hanging down. The showers! hot is cold & cold is hot. hot really isn’t hot. should be in the details/description that everything was reversed. Chair is BROKEN IN LIV RM, previously reported. Prev reported items from other guests should have been repaired. I wouldn’t stay here again. mold/smell/doors/no basic amenities

Arabi House - NOLA

We had a wonderful stay in Arabi. The house was perfect for our needs and was very nice and comfortable. We all felt at home. The rooms were all spacious. The downstairs area had everything we needed! We rented a car and the trip down to Bourbon St and surrounding areas was super easy to drive to from the location. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property

The house was bigger than it looked in the pictures. Super pretty. Owner was awesome. Owner’s son was awesome. Great property in a great neighborhood. Love that the river is right down the street.
