Great location

The property has a great location right on the beach which we loved!! A great restaurant at the hotel. Across the street from motorbike taxi station, making easy access to cabarete.

This was an absolutely perfect location for a kitesurfing vacation. I would highly recommend it anyone and plan to come back in the future.

Great Spot Right on the Ocean

We really enjoyed the location and the condo. The view from the patio is great to watch the kiteboarders in the afternoon or to look out at the waves when there is no wind. As we were there to kite the ground floor unit was awesome as it was easy to get from the condo to the beach with all of our gear even if we weren't kiting the ground floor access makes it so easy to wander out from the condo to the beach. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside for the 4 of us and the condo felt spacious and airy. There is also a deck out at the edge of the beach with bean bag chairs and lounges that is a great spot to get some sun and watch all the action on the beach and in the water. Super location and a great lodging!

Very relaxing vacation

We spent most of our time relaxing at the condo. We did not rent a car because drivers are crazy. the taxi stand was convenient but almost got hit by a motorcycle because most drivers seem to think it's more important to get where they are going than following traffic laws. It was fun watching the kite surfers. The restaurant right next door was good and reasonable. No credit cards so get plenty of Dominican Pesos. The most disappointing thing was so many of the dog owners don't clean up after their dogs on the beach. I chose not to walk on the beach because of that. We won't come back.

Best location on Kite Beach!

I would like to say THANKS to Kristy and Matt for making our holiday awesome! We arrived on Christmas eve after a 5 hr plane delay and did not realize transportation would not be available to the apartment. Kristy quickly arranged a taxi for us and since the next day was xmas and no stores would be open our driver (Jose) stopped at the store prior to picking us up and provided champagne, eggs and bagels for the next day. This started our vacation on the right track:) The location is the best on the kite beach! To be able to set your kite down and walk right into your unit for lunch was great. What a nice community feel it was and all the people were so friendly, from the locals helping you to launch a kite to the staff at the restaurant. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Needs some better cleaning and some maintenance

Our host kindly let us extend our check out which we appreciated. The place needed better cleaning. I had to alert them about plumbing issues, door locks not working (host got them fixed), which I think should have been obvious if inspected prior to our arrival. The host was prompt in replying and recommending a good taxi driver. Place needs a lot more TLC for the price. Location excellent. No kettle for tea. Felt like it was not a luxury place really but just rented to death and not caring if it looked tired and not spanking clean. Could be fantastic with these improvements in place.

Girls Trip ! Nov 2023

Our stay at Kristy’s place was everything we wanted and MORE ! It’s my 25th trip to Cabarete and my friends first time - I couldn’t have picked a better spot to host our girls trip! The condo is spotlessly cleaned and well appointed - the beds are very comfortable and there is everything one would need to enjoy the stay. Games, Towels (pool/beach) stocked kitchen and the walk out patio makes for an excellent outdoor seating/eating area. Overall the entire area is safe and the view is spectacular from every direction. The small beach bar next door makes amazing cappuccino’s and frozen drinks !!! We had to get some help with a short power outage and our messages were answered immediately. Kristy is amazing to deal with and we felt safe & informed. She couldn’t have been better with communication and assistance when we needed it. Also shout out to the security guys out front for getting us taxi’s and food deliveries - everyone is so friendly and helpful. Thank you Kristy for a memorable trip and we will definitely be back !! You’re amazing and you made our trip smooth and memorable ! Cheers !!
