The peaceful, quiet, serenity of this property invites rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Ski Santa Fe 45 min. Taos Ski Valley 2- hour drive. Epic mountain bike trails 5 minutes away. Many hiking trails nearby and walking trails throughout the property. Enjoy views of the foothills of the Sangre De Cristo mountains from every room. This 1650sq. ft. home includes a well- stocked kitchen with island which opens to the living area with a kiva fireplace, and dining area which seats 4-6 people. Relax on the patio and gas firepit area. Sacred sculptures can be seen at various locations along the trails which were donated to the property. There is also a community pond to enjoy.
Just 20 minutes from Santa Fe, restaurants, galleries, and restaurants. Within minutes of fishing, pueblo and Civil War sites. Experience the Santa Fe Opera, botanical garden, or Casinos. We can get some snow in the winter, so a 4 wheel or AWD is recommended from December through March. Ask me if you’re needing more space. We have a 2 bedroom 1 bath up the road.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Patti’s spot. The house has all the amenities you need. The surrounding property is a quiet and peaceful escape from the city with close proximity to the mountain bike trails in Glorieta. Patti was very welcoming! I would not hesitate to book again!

Lovely home! We truly enjoyed our stay here. The radiant heat in the floor was so nice. It made the home extra cozy. Kitchen was just what i needed to feed my son who has food allergies to dairy and nuts. Loved the gas stove. Grilled hamburgers on the brand new gas grill. Beds super comfortable with grreat sheets. Neighbor dogs visits were enjoyed as well. Loved this home!

Loved this house and the beautiful location. Great kitchen and comfortable bedrooms with very nice baths. The washer and dryer were so nice to have and we used the fireplace every night when the weather cooled.

Patti, Thank You for sharing your home with us. This was just right for our 60th anniversary! A well needed time away! So nice, away from the Big Cities, but convenient enough to do whatever we wanted to do! We shopped, ate out, went to the casino and played table games, & also had Prime Rib, at casino. We went to flea market, went to Lake abique and did some rock hounding, We went to Madrid and shopped and had a great vanilla shake! I would say, we had no time to waste. Great stay! Thank You, Marie

2 big bedrooms and a smaller study with day bed that fit our 6’3” son. Very large living, dining and kitchen areas and a very very large outdoor space with chairs, tables, grill, and propane heater. When I come back to this area, I won’t even bother to shop around. I’ll come straight here.

Epic Trip

Patti is a top shelf host. Her property is a 5 star escape in a most pristine setting. We nailed it when we chose her spread for a month long stay. It was serene and inviting while being a reasonable jaunt from “The Plaza”. The kitchen is very well equipped as advertised. The quiet and solitude cannot be easily duplicated. The fireplace is perfect. The trails are adventurous. The sky is immense and breathtaking. What more does one need. Thanks Patti!

Wonderful Peaceful Getaway

This was a beautiful house in the mountains not far from Santa Fe. The property had great trails with nice lookouts. There was a large patio with awesome views. Patti was responsive to questions and provided good information on the area. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The house was absolutely spotless & totally comfy! Loved the comfort of the bed & special touches through out the house. Enjoyed the fresh flowers on the dining room table & the owner's willingness to allow us early check in. We like the privacy of this location in Nature. Have stayed here multiple times. Great family stay at this beautiful, quiet property

Our family had an excellent stay at this quiet, wooded property in Glorieta! The home is very pretty and well equipped, with premium interior furnishings and comfortable furniture. It has everything needed to have a great stay outside of Santa Fe Outside, the landscaping is welcoming with good seating options for hanging out outdoors, including a grill and fire pit The one down side not advertised is that it is not a private 49 acres as titled, but a shared ranch with a few other properties. That said, you may only occasionally see the neighbors, but you will see the neighborhood dogs who are very friendly! The property is quiet and wooded, with nice trails to enjoy that provide great short walks with the pups and family! Overall an excellent stay and we very much enjoyed our time in Glorieta

Beautiful property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this near Santa Fe property. The porches were perfect for watching the clouds and tree tops and birds. There are trails that lead you through the property. And even though you feel tucked away in the mountains you are close enough to Santa Fe to museum, eat or hike in their neighborhood. Hope to come back next year!

Beautiful, Peaceful

We came to the area for my step-son's wedding at the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe. Whenever we travel we choose to be away from the cities/populated areas and look places that are secluded. This house in Glorietta was great. Everything was in excellent condition, and the owner, Patti provided everything we needed and gave us the best places in town to visit and the best restaurants. It's not quite a secluded as we would have liked as there are several other house a few hundred feet away, but they aren't visible through the woods. Patti has created a "Zen Trail" that meanders throughout her property. It was nice to walk it in the mornings with my dog.

Beautiful property

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house is secluded in a lovely wooded area with great views and a lot of privacy. The house itself is beautiful--very clean, well appointed, comfortable, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The house is only about a 20 minute drive from Santa Fe and also near a variety of other interesting locations. We loved it. I think anyone would.

We would come back in a heartbeat!!

Perfect place for my husband and me to take a working vacation. We LOVED the house and the solitude. The neighborhood dogs that came to visit were so sweet and welcoming. The neighborhood/location was absolutely perfect.

The best rental house have ever stayed at!

A slice of heaven! Such a beautiful spot. So close to downtown Santa Fe, hiking trails, scenic drives, etc. And so much love and thought put into the entire property - from the beautiful plantings/flowers surrounding the house, outdoor areas/patios, hiking trails on the property, and immaculate and so nicely decorated interior. Eating in mostly, we loved the high end appliances and cookware. Nice too that stove is gas. Also enjoyed the outside gas grill. Patti is a great communicator and really cares about her guests. I had the pleasure of meeting her in person and had such a great conversation - such a nice host! Definitely will stay there again. Highly recommend! Everyone in my family (even the little Morkie) had a great time!

Pictures don't do it justice

This is a beautiful property and the house is even more beautiful than the pictures depict. It's secluded and so quiet, just what we were looking for for total relaxation. I had a question about the stove since I'm not familiar with gas and the owner was so quick to respond to my text. Definitely recommend.

Great Home

Hi Patti, Thank you for sharing your wonderful home...it had everything we needed including the friendly neighborhood dogs. Your home was centrally located to many attractions that we would recommend to future renters...such as Bandelier National Park, Taos Pueblo, Pecos National Historical Park, the Petroglyphs, Grasshopper trail and many other trails. I moved here in 1982 from Dallas, and Santa Fe became home to me very quickly. I love the smaller town feel but with big city culture and restaurant choices. The adobe estates, and charming casitas nestled on winding roads are enchanting and intriguing. Access to outdoor activities has also been a big draw for me. We are minutes from mountains, interesting desert terrain, rivers, and a few lakes. My S.O. and I are now living near Santa Fe, about 10 minutes away.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We bought the Old Glorieta Pass Ranch in 2010, divided it into seven lots. We kept 2 of the lots. My house was built by my son and a small crew in the typical northern New Mexico style, using traditional adobe construction with “tin” roof, lintels above the doors and windows, and plaster walls. Notice the bits of straw in the plaster. It took two years to build the house. There are 3 small houses on this family lot.
Our 2nd lot has the beginning phase of a sacred garden. The life size sculptures were donated to the property. To honor this gift, we are creating 3 areas on the 22 acres, with trails leading to each site and connecting the garden.

The most unique and special quality of this home, is the land it sits on. The multiple large windows fill the house with light and provide views of trees and hills in every direction. I love the big kitchen island which really is the center of the house. A fire in the hand crafted kiva fireplace creates a warm and cozy space.
