Hummingbird House is a recent renovation of a historic 1950 Stamm house, with all the charms of traditional Santa Fe plus the amenities and comforts of a new house. You will find a fabulous 3 BR and 2 BA home with individual AC in each room, spacious living, and a large outdoor patio with fire pit. Located in the heart of Santa Fe's "mid-town", Hummingbird House is walking distance to restaurants, and is only a 7 minute drive to The Plaza.

This charming renovation offers visitors a taste of mid-century Santa Fe. With customizable heating and air system, fully-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops, two bathrooms (one full bath, one 3/4 bath with walk-in shower) and outdoor living space with two seating areas, fire pit and landscaping, you can have it all. With the exception of some vintage, artisanal pieces, furnishings are new as are all linens.

While the home is compact at just over 1,000 square feet, it is cozy and comfortable and outside spaces make it live larger. It is ideal for 4 adults and two children, but can accommodate up to 6 adults.

This child and pet-friendly property has a completely walled/enclosed backyard. Up to two pets are allowed, but guests must first message the owner for pre-approval.

Walk to restaurants like the historic Pantry restaurant, Jambo Café, Baskin Robbins, El Portrillo Mexican, Matisse Bakery, Wecks family restaurant and more. The new Santa Fe bike trail passes through the neighborhood three blocks away allowing you easy access to The Railyard, Downtown and the rest of the city. Within 2 minutes drive are vintage furniture stores, art galleries, the Broken Spoke bike shop, retail stores and a grocery store. Driving times to other area amenities:

During renovation, under a full moon, 4 hummingbirds hovered over a flowering bush in the front yard. It was a magical moment and the House earned the name "Hummingbird House".

The home was nicely appointed, cozy and clean, with a lovely local SW decor. There were many "extra little touches" that made us feel welcomed and spoiled! We cooked every meal at the house, and did not miss anything that we needed. The set up is perfect for bringing your dog along, and they provide clean up materials for convenience. Was super convenient to all of our sight seeing needs both in SF and outside of town. Loved that each bedroom was different to suit different needs, and each has its own temperature control. The host was very easily to communicate with and very responsive. 12 out of 10, and I would easily stay again when visiting SF!

We were a party of 5 senior citizen women. Our stay at the Hummingbird House could not have been better. Victor was very accommodating and communication was excellent. The house is very well appointed from original artwork, bathroom toiletries, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, and an outdoor patio for our relaxation between our sightseeing. Oasis in the City

The Hummingbird House was an ideal location for our family getaway to Santa Fe. We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet mornings and warm evenings on the patio. The home is cozy and welcoming and has everything you need for a long weekend away. It is close to everything and Victor provided some very helpful info about some of the favorite places in town. Heart of Sante fe

We loved our stay in this beautiful house, the back yard and fire pit porch area was our favorite spot to hang out. It’s conveniently located right in the town. We would would definitely stay here again, the space was very clean and comfortable

Comfy house with plenty of space

We all really enjoyed our stay here. It was too cold to use the back patio, but it looked really lovely. When I return to Santa Fe in warmer weather, I'll definitely check to see if this home is available. The neighborhood looked like it as up and coming, but we never felt unsafe, and restaurants and coffee shops were within easy walking distance.

Charming Santa Fe Home

There were four ladies in our group aged 66-90 to attend the Santa Fe Opera!This home was cozy, but spacious enough for us to enjoy being with each other or finding time alone on the huge back porch!Kitchen was well appointed
there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there.The back porch was a great place to read a book or take a nap after a morning on the Plaza!We were close enough to everything Santa Fe
we didn’t drive more than 15 minutes to get anywhere around town.You will enjoy your stay at this charming home!

My name is Victor, and I am part-time in Santa Fe, and part-time in Denver, where I also founded and run my non-profit for music and art education, New Cottage Arts. I, along with my fabulous, professional, and dependable on-the-ground Santa Fe team, am looking forward to your stay.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, I always knew and understood the magic and charm of the southwestern desert. The broad, bright, and colorful skies, immense and often awe-inspiring natural beauty, and year-round, renowned attractions, shopping, dining, and architecture for travelers and families make Santa Fe in particular a world-class travel destination.

I first heard about Santa Fe, and NM in general, while pursuing my professional degrees in music and piano performance. The Santa Fe Opera and Taos Music Festival loomed large as prominent and prolific arts institutions, and I highly recommend a visit to enjoy our eclectic and and diverse live music scene.

Besides making sure guests are served 110% satisfaction and 5-star stay experiences, I love continuing to explore Santa Fe’s ever growing art, gallery, and dining scene, visiting new places and travel destinations, and sharing my time with my family. I look forward to hosting you!

Casa Allegre is a quiet neighborhood where most of my neighbors are long time residents. Built by one of Santa Fe's most famed developers, the homes are known as "Stamm" homes. Boasting beamed ceilings, enclosed backyards for privacy and neighborly front porches, Stamm neighborhoods are highly coveted. Our neighborhood watch is close knit and our location to area amenities cannot be beat.
