Great place to get away from it all.

Me and my wife went here for our anniversary and our stay couldn’t have been more fun and relaxing. Very secluded with a beautiful view.

Deserves more than 5 stars!!

This place was the epitome of charming! The pictures do NOT do it justice!! We just couldn't get over how pretty the whole place was, from the cute, roomy studio, to the beautiful lighted patio, to the landscaping, to the gorgeous lake view! It was incredible just to be able to wander down to the lake for a swim each morning! It was also sparkling clean and our hosts truly thought of EVERYTHING! We didn't want for a single thing the whole time. We would come back to this place in a heartbeat!!!

Relaxing on the Lake

Managers went above and beyond to provide every convenience for guest. Just what we needed. Lake was beautiful and well as grounds. Rooms were very clean. Towels were so fresh, husband insisted on know laundry ingreds. Thank you for having us. So many amenities, boat dock, kayaks, grills, outdoor patio area... Loved it!

Everything we wanted and more!

I cannot say enough about this property. My family decided to take a last minute trip to the lake with our two kids. The pictures of the place were nice but they really don’t do it justice. The views of the lake from the house are gorgeous. There are several places to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while overlooking the lake. Once the day gets started there is plenty to do to keep the kids busy...kayaks, a canoe, fishing, swimming, and the list goes on. About a 15 minute drive from the house is a beautiful overlook of Little River Canyon with a waterfall and crystal clear creak. If you still have energy after all of that there are two fire pits. One gas burning up at the house and another wood burning down by the dock. You can also enjoy a game of cornhole on the patio near the house. Inside the studio apartment is an Xbox, fooseball table, checkers and board games. So much to keep the kids occupied. The kitchenette also has a burner and pots and pans, plus there is a grill outside. Plenty of options for cooking. This was everything we wanted and more. The owners thought of everything and were so hospitable. We highly recommend!

We own and operate The Magnolia House On Weiss Lake and Your Big Lake House, along with other smaller units on the same property as "The Den". We are also in the Real Estate business. Our passion is to ensure that everyone of our guests has a FIVE STAR stay at our properties and we always try and go above and beyond. Thanks for considering staying with us!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Tons to do in the area. We are close to Little River Falls, Little River Canyon, DeSoto Falls, Orbitz Hot Glass blowing, Pirates Bay water park (seasonal), Mentone, white water rafting and rappelling. Included with this studio, we have an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, board games, yard games, pool, hot tub, lake access, kayaks, multiple outdoor dining areas, two propane fire pit, wood burning fire pit, etc. We are VERY remote, yet a Piggly Wiggly & Dollar General and several restaurants are as close as 12 mins away. A Walmart is 20 mins away and everything else you need is 30-40 minutes away either in Gadsden AL, Ft. Payne AL, or Rome, GA. The country road we are on are very walkable and bikeable so bring your bikes!

This is such a great property. It's included with the following properties: "The Magnolia House Compound" that sleeps 58 (Property ID 2096520) and the Magnolia Overlook resort that sleeps 93 (4114390). We host many events ranging from weddings, church retreats, corporate retreats, to family reunions. "The Den" is opened up only if either of those listing are not booked. Doing this allows some smaller groups (like yours) to be able to experience "The Magnolia House" property at our little slice of heaven we call "Magnolia Overlook". We also have many other smaller units on this property, sleeping anywhere from 4-10 guests. Interested? Ask us for more info.
