The rooms was fine we was able to see the lake. It was a very home like stay. Looking forward to next year. The owner was very helpful to solve any problem that we had.

My son is into history and enjoys participating in the reenactments. We come every yearto the Cedar Bluff area, and was lucky enough to find this place. It was exactly what we were looking for. The house was close to our event, overlooking the beautiful lake, and kept clean. We enjoyed using the grill on the back deck for our dinners and sitting around the fire pit afterwards. Every morning we would sit out on the deck and drink ourcoffee. Such a wonderful stay, can't wait to book again in the future.

Beautiful deck overlooking the lake and dock. Cement sidewalk from the house to the lake is a nice touch. Fire pit was wonderful and used every night. The cabin itself could use a little attention, but nothing to shy away from, especially for the price. Beds were clean and comfortable so what more could you ask for. Honestly, most of our time was spent outside or away from the cabin exploring the area. For our purpose, a guys reunion weekend, this cabin hit the mark.

We just had the best 5 days at this house on Lake Weiss. The setting is absolutely perfect, peaceful, beautiful & great for families. We had chilly evenings & enjoyed a campfire every night making s’mores & telling stories. The host was so gracious to provide plenty of firewood. There’s a public boat ramp nearby, which made it easy to bring our fishing boat and keep it docked during our stay.We caught tons of catfish & had an amazing fish fry, played lots of pool & the kids loved running around the backyard and playing together. We also spent time relaxing in hammocks by the water, soaking in the views. It truly doesn’t get much better than this.The only downside was that the master shower didn’t drain well, which made it uncomfortable to use. Thankfully, there were two bathrooms with showers, so we were able to use the other one without issue.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and made some really special family memories.

Great house and location

We were very impressed with the house and it’s location. It was great for a guy’s fishing trip and we will definitely be back. We have stayed at other homes in this area and this one is by far our favorite!

Loved this lakehouse

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Fishing trip weekend for 2. Excellent location and views. Had no complaint and would love to stay again when it is warmer to really take advantage of the lake.

Beautiful inlet view, great dock; however chais on dock not in good repair, thin disabled husband sat and chair broke, so please be careful. Fire pit nice. The deck on house was nice; however it was flooded on one end and we couldn’t use outdoor table or grill. Deck was likely expensive , but no spaces left between deck boards and railing directly on deck, so water had no where to go. Kitchen stocked well with silverware, glasses, cups and dishes. No mixing bowls or bakeware to speak of.Dishwasher not mounted so tips a bit when you load it. Nicely decorated but some stuff not working , to include plugs in master bedroom. Mattresses very uncomfortable, but bedding was nice. Bathrooms good, but not enough toilet paper for the four of us for 4 days.House appeared well cleaned, so it was shocking that there were several large cockroaches we had to kill in living room and kitchen. Lots of ants on the deck along with a lot of old bug carcass’ on the windows.Great washer and dryer for your use.Last comment is that the front of the home really needs to be more inviting. The front steps are a bit treacherous and no railing.We did have a fun time being with Family. I would not rent again.

Great place and location

This property was a great place to stay for our fishing trip, a very nice dock that belongs to this property and a Public boat ramp close by. Would also recommend it for summer time fun vacation too. Really happy we chose this place to stay. It was great.

Pros: View of the Lake from the master bedroom and back porch was stunning. The living room view of the lake was awesome to have especially at sunrise. We enjoyed having some family competition with the pool table. It was close to the boat launch which was a plus. Close to some great local restaurants. We enjoyed the back porch and back yard down to the water which was nice. Water pressure in bathrooms and temperature of water was good. Bedrooms were clean and nice. The Host was great, answering questions quickly. He allowed us to check in early which we greatly appreciated.Cons: Kitchen surfaces and appliances (stovetop, oven, microwave, disposal & sink,light in refrig, countertops, cabinet fronts) needed a deep clean for sure. Pest control in kitchen and living areas was needed. The steps at the front porch were difficult for us (senior citizens) and took extra care due to height, uneven steps and lack of railing. Clearly the house has had some leak problems which may be a work in progress but was very noticeable.

We like to go boating, paddle board, ride the Seadoo, swim, and fish off the dock. My kids look forward to spending every chance they get at the lake.
