You get what you pay for. Third stay and by far worst stay at Arcadian. None of the problems that reviewers have told of have been fixed. Smallest queen size bed I have ever slept in. Commodes must be child sized. So small it’s difficult to do both 1 and 2 without peeing in floor. As mentioned by others shower curtain does not come all the way to the floor. Makes a wet mess. Broken chair in master. Both of the last two mentioned by other guests. TV in living room could be larger. I will not be renting 4C again.

Top of the List for Another Visit

We rented 3 condos in the same area, and this one was the best! It is beautifully updated and FULLY stocked with appliances, utensils, and dishes. The location is perfect, and the pool is clean! We'd definitely stay there again!

Large balcony with perfect view!!!

Could not have had a better view of the beach. It was beautiful and with a large balcony. Construction going on all day on the floor above us. Only time we had peace is when they went to lunch. Again you will not find a better view.

Love the area

This is our third time staying at Arcadian & this was the best condo so far. It was updated nicely & most importantly it smelled good with no mildew smell like the others we’ve stayed in. The grounds & pool area is really clean & very nice. Only real negative I saw was the shower curtain in master is too short & floor gets soaked. Floor looks nice so I hope they get a longer curtain so it doesn’t get ruined.

Unfortunately, we do not own or manage the unit next door therefore, we had no knowledge that they were going to be doing any work. As a private owner, they are not required to notify the surrounding unit or the building. As long as work is done within the hours that the county allows, they are entitled to do work on their personal unit as they see fit.

Beautiful 4th Floor Oceanfront Condo

This 3 bed-2bath condo was just as photos and written comments described. We could tell the condo had been recently updated...the bluish-teal walls were so calming and the ocean-themed decor was stylish yet simple. We really appreciated the extra money invested in the patio furniture and cushions as we spent breakfast, break times, and late evenings out there. We enjoyed the wonderfully maintained, quieter atmosphere surrounding the grounds, pool, and beach, and we were steps away from the Wet Whistle bar and grill which served delicious snacks and light meals. The covered parking was a great plus for summer heat and we never waited longer than 3 minutes for the elevator. The only concerns included a strange snoring-gurgling noise heard throughout the day in the Master shower wall (which we reported at check-out) and finding the best thermostat setting to keep the nice wood plank floors dry and safe from excess moisture (and we kept the patio doors closed). We would definitely consider staying at this lovely condo again should we return to the Arcadian Dunes/Shores area. It is a perfect location and very close to Barefoot Landing, restaurants, and grocery stores. Happy Vacation Family from NC, The Kanipes

Beautiful home but.....

Master bed was an extremely small Queen and too small for us. No cable in second bedroom. :( Rabbit ears were horrible! Paint was caked on the drawers in the kitchen and screamed everytime it was opened. Front door had paint cake on so that it was hard to close. There were many of the hanging vertical blinds missing...We found them broken and in the master closet. (?) Overly warm in the master bedroom day and night. Shower pressure in the bathrooms were not up to par. The master shower head was filthy. Security and owners were very polite and welcoming. Very disappointed that the pool was not heated. ugh!

Amazing view right on the beach

I stayed here with my two kids, ages 9 and 11. Our only goals were to go to the beach, the pool, and try to keep 6 feet away from everyone else, and this provided all of that. It was a great trip, and I would stay here again. There were a few things though that caused me to give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Pros - Amazing location and view from balcony. Condo was clean when we arrived, and looked just as advertised. Easy to get to beach, ability to rent beach chairs and umbrella for our stay, which were set up and reserved for us everyday 9am - 4pm. Big saltwater pool, we were able to stay distanced from other travelers while swimming. Kitchen pretty well stocked with cooking supplies. We picked up groceries when we got there and ate all our meals there. Bed in master was super comfortable, and the kids didn’t complain about the twin beds, so I guess those were comfortable too. Cons - Had to check in first at the rental office, to get keys and provide credit card. There are so many ways to do all of this online now, and provide entry with key codes or lockboxes. Especially in a pandemic. Also, not one person in the rental office was wearing a face mask. We were unfortunate enough to be directly over the 1 group of people that were extremely loud and annoying and thought it was fun to party on their deck, but seemed like they were not the norm. Master bath toilet/shower area super small and dim lighting makes it creepy. I never closed the door when I went in, instead just closing the bedroom door. The light from the vanity/sink was good. Lots of little things broken or subpar, but nothing that was essential. For example, the bottom 3 drawers in the dresser in small bedroom were broken and couldn’t be used, and 2 drawers in master wouldn’t open at all. The lid on the kitchen trash can was broken, stuck in open position, and that bothered me. There were 3 or 4 brooms, but only 1 broken dustpan to use. Some of the kitchen utensils and pans were rusty and need to be replaced (pizza pan, pizza cutter, kitchen shears, among others). Kitchen had 4 things of pepper(at least 1 expired in 2018) and no salt! The TV was super complicated to figure out and no instructions. There were 5 different remotes for it. And the TV in the small bedroom never would come on for us. Overall, the pros definitely outweighed the cons for us, and most of these cons could be easily fixed. We hope to come back for another vacation sometime!

The unit next door was being remodeled and they were apparently glueing floors down most of the week we were there. The smell was very strong coming through the air system. The week was cool so we found our best bet was to turn it off. We did contact rental co.and they brought some stay dry that had air freshener. I know this was no ones fault but I have severe allergies and made my vacation unpleasant. There is big time WiFi issues in this unit. I was unable to hook up my husband and mothers tablets the entire week. There are 2 routers in the cabinet but none hooked up. No tv in the 3rd bedroom. I guess its just for show because it doesn't work.Half of the sliding door was broken and the thermostat is difficult to adjust. This is our 2nd year in this unit but we will not be returning. Last year I overlooked the WiFi tv issues and hoped they would be corrected but nothing has changed. On a plus the view is beautiful as are all the units at Arcadian!

Dresser in master, drawers messed up and bed knobs falling off. Twin beds were also having bed knob issues but mostly the chest of drawers, had to take the drawers out to use them. Also, the AC could not keep up as there was a crack in the sliding glass door causing a draft of air continuously coming through creating moisture in the unit, floor was wet most of the time. Called the rental company and they helped that issue, should’ve called earlier in the week. Rental company messed up our names with another but made it right. Very good experience overall though.
