Cozy Lakefront Cottage - Plage privée

Un chalet 3 saisons bien entretenu, au bord du lac avec une plage privée. Un grand pont suspendu vous offre un espace magnifique pour admirer les célèbres couchers de soleil de Grand Bend et un court escalier de 12 marches vous emmène directement à l'eau. Le chalet est un espace confortable à aire ouverte avec 1 vraie chambre (Queen) et 1 grenier (Queen) accessible par une échelle. Un 3ème canapé-lit (Queen) se trouve sous le salon. Un petit patio à l'avant de la maison est un endroit chaud pour prendre un café le matin. 5 minutes en voiture de Grand Bend et 10 minutes en voiture de Bayfield.

We had a wonderful fall getaway. Lovely cottage, beautiful deck, fairly easy access to beach. Will hopefully be back again someday.

Beautiful sunsets

Property was nice with the landscaping and well kept. Only suggestion is to bring water shoes, lots of rocks before the sandbar.. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic romantic getaway

Amazing location & view. Private swimable beach. Ideal for family. Only recommend having bath towels/facecloths & tea towels for kitchen. Excellent communication with prompt responses. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect escape.

Fred's cottage surpassed our expectations from the amenities, access to the private beach, fire pit, outside shower and minutes away from Grand Bend. Very clean and had everything we needed for a quick getaway. The host, Fred, was incredibly kind and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. We already hope to return this summer!

This is what lakefront / beach house should be like (and great location too)

The lakefront / beach experience is in every detail of this house and the grounds around it: the amazing deck with the view; well-planned house with big windows overlooking the lake; a convenient pathway to a sandy beach. The house is clean, and with well-kept amenities, and so is the surrounding area. Would love to come back there again.

Beautiful gated area with lovely grounds and great deck overlooking the water. Private beach with clear, wonderful Lake Huron water. Property manager was very communicative and helpful. Recommending to all our friends.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We went for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier! The hostess also left us some "Congratulations" flowers. The water on the lake changes colour often. The view of the water is magnificent! Sunsets are gorgeous! The place was immaculately clean. We highly recommend this place and we plan to return next year.

Stunning!

Beautiful, and clean cottage, in an exclusive location! Cottage is well-kept, amazing deck looking out onto our private beach. Our family had a wonderful time there, and will look forward to visiting again! I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone!

Perfect Location

This cottage is perfectly situated right on the beach with a two-level deck overlooking the lake. Its own direct access to the beach gives you miles of waterfront walking. It's close to Grand Bend, The Pinery and Goderich making lots of options for day trips. The kitchen is well-stocked and the furnishings comfortable.

Great and beautiful place

Fred’s cottage is a clean and well organized place. There’s beautiful lake view, outdoor shower, BBQ, and all kitchen utensils which I actually didn’t need to bring my own stuff ^^. My family ( 2 adults n 1 child) had a great time. The owner was very kind and sent all messages promptly whenever I asked any questions. Thanks Fred and hope we can come back again!
