The roof top deck is really the selling point! Amazing view. Lots of seating etc. perfect for sunsets. Good amenities. Perfect to walk to beach and town. Good local restaurants! And people in OB are very friendly! I scored it a 4 star because there was a lot more outside noise than I would expect. Unit is directly in the line of plane takeoffs from San Diego, and is next to the alley that has more foot and car and garbage pickup traffic. Still totally recommend it, but something to consider for that location access.

Property was just what we needed close to the beach /dog beach and rooms. The bottom room is basically its own tiny apartment which was great for our teens. Only side note i would add is that some inside doors was a little struggle to lock but not a major issue as a family. The host was also super kind enough to order some utensils since we did jot have enough.

Great neighborhood house

The rooftop deck was amazing! The house is one block from the beach. Great local Mexican eateries. Recommend Cliffs Cafe for breakfast! I would go back there again.

San Diego stay

Overall this was a good stay. Everything was clean and location is good. Parking can be a bit challenging if you have larger vehicle. Very prompt response from host whenever we reached to him.

Amazing location a block away from dog beach.Great roof top view with a brand new grill. Beautiful to watch sunsets and dine outdoors. Lots of space in the house on multiple levels as long as you don’t mind some stairs.I loved having a garage and if you have a small car and you’re good at backing into tight spaces it’s perfect! Having a full size washer and dryer is great too. We utilized the outdoor shower a lot too. The place could use a little tlc in some of the furniture/decor/pillows/bedding/towels were pretty worn-definitely one home goods trip could remedy most of those things :) And if it’s hot like it was the one day you may end up sleeping in the loft or downstairs bc those are the only areas with mini split ac All in all we would stay again bc the location is great!

Clean and Great Proximity

The property is well maintained and clean. I loved the multiple levels and balconies. The rooftop was exceptionally comfortable with a hammock and plenty of seating!

Great Location in OB

We had a nice stay here with our family, enjoyed the rooftop views and balcony space. It's walking distance to the beach, restaurants (including a great Italian spot - Pazzos Italian - right down the street). Pedro made things easy with directions and communication. We'd be glad to stay here again.

Awesome stay in Ocean Beach!

Great location in close proximity to the beach and great restaurants. The house was clean and tidy. Pedro was very accommodating, especially with our two infants. We will definitely stay here again next time we travel to San Diego!

Great location!

We loved our stay! We were able to easily walk to the beach, coffee and food. While the house is narrow, it was comfortable and unique. We enjoyed lunch on the roof with a beautiful view and slept great. We definitely recommend!!

Ocean beach lovely with roof top

Great location with a great rooftop barbecue area. We could see the sunsetting at the dog beach From the rooftop , which was only two blocks from our place.We had the best time at the dog beach too! We are hoping to come back soon.

Close to the beach

Overall a great place. It was a smooth check in and check out process. Really close to the beach and good restaurants. It was somewhat difficult to stay with our kids due to the layout of the house but enjoyed the location. If you don’t have young children, great place to stay with friends or family.

Very convenient location. 6 minutes walking distance to the very nice beach. 9 minutes walking distance to the main street with a lot of bars and activities. 5 minutes driving to the water world.

Great place by the beach

Great little place by the beach. Closest to dog beach but easy enough to walk further down if you’re there without your pooch. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. This place has lots of stairs so don’t book here if that will bother you. So many outdoor porches and a rooftop deck. The WiFi signal was pretty weak so if that’s important to you maybe look somewhere else.

We're a local San Diego family, a local designer & developer and realtor who along with some friends had a crazy dream of building three prefab homes on the beach to visit with our family from time to time. These three beach houses, built by local San Diego families, are our slice of heaven and proudest achievement. The portuguese cobblestone, an homage to the Copacabana boardwalk is a nod to my Brazilian heritage. We love sharing our homes with the world and our kids love sleeping in the lofts and hanging out on the beach for days on end. We're often staying in one of the homes with our families, our parents, our kids or some friends and would love to meet like-minded vacationers with a love for the beach, fresh air and good times!

Built, designed, and managed by local San Diegan families, the space reflects their love for and investment in the delightful and quirky Ocean Beach community. It is intended to offer individuals, couples, friends, or families a retreat to one of the last true beach towns in Southern California.

Inside, the home is bright, modern, clean, and professionally decorated and furnished. It can sleep 8 people. The first bedroom offers a queen sofa bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and full bathroom. In the common space, there is a semi-private sleeping loft with a queen bed, and another full size sofa bed. The common space has a fully equipped kitchen, a TV, and a half bathroom.

The home features a large 600 sq ft rooftop deck with amazing ocean views, chairs, loungers, and a BBQ. You won't find anything like it in the area — dine, listen to the waves roll in, or watch an amazing West Coast sunset from your own private space.
