Private country setting on 1/2 acre of pasture land close to the North Beach and scrumptious raspberry shakes. View of the lake from wrap around porch and decks. Imagine afternoon barbecue after a day at the beach, hike to Bloomington Lake, or exploring Minnetonka Caves. All of these within minutes drive from this cute farmhouse/cabin. Close to Garden City (15 min), Montpellier (20 min), and 45 minutes from Lava Hot Springs. An excellent home for your Bear Lake stay

This was our second time using this rental and we are very pleased. You are 15 minutes from the north beach, gas stations, and several restaurants. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Amazing location

Fantastic location, great set up, host is great for communication. Only issue was house could have been cleaner, kitchen especially.

This lovely little house is in the perfect Bear Lake location! Easy access to North Beach. Super private and peaceful. Owners are amazing- receptive and accommodating. House is quirky and fun and very comfy!

Awesome place and location.

Our stay was perfect. We fit 7 people perfectly. Location was close to the beach and the house was clean and awesome. Easy people to work with and very friendly. We had local dogs that would come and greet us as well. It was an awesome experience. We hope we can come back again soon.

Lovely home with beautiful views

My parents, in-laws, husband, and two toddlers loved staying here! It's just as cute as the pictures. I loved the decor and layout. The beds in each room were firm enough. As you get older, you really appreciate a firm bed. For me, it's always the little things that make something special. The kitchen knives were actually sharp. They provided plastic bags for leftover and storage. There were toys in the master closet that my boys loved playing with. The front porch and master balcony look over the lake, which made a beautiful view of the sunrise. The neighbor across the street had the cutest and friendliest dog that hung out with us when he wasn't busy working. The host responded within an hour or sooner to my couple questions. Overall, this is a very charming rental and we had a great experience.

One of our favorite places

We love Bear Lake, especially the north end. St Charles is a fun little community and this cabin is perfect for a family like ours. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Cottage for fun

We had a blast here, the kitchen has everything you could need for cooking. The space to hangout in was perfect, outside and being 10 minutes from north beach is prime. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Awesome home base for Bear Lake vacation

Excellent stay for our family of 8! Just minutes from North Beach Bear Lake, and plenty of parking for our boat. We loved the house! We had a couple cookouts with the firepit, as well as the grill. The inside has beds for everyone, and the kitchen, & bathrooms were fully stocked with all of the supplies necessary! There isn't any AC, but it cools down every night and there are a few fans as well so we were able to quickly cool it down each evening when we got back from our activities. We would definitely rent this home again! 👍🏻

Pretty view and nice gathering area

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. It is close to the North beach and off the main road in a quiet neighborhood. The only downside is no air conditioning, but it does cool down at night and there were ceiling fans and additional fans to help.

Peaceful and Beautiful

We had a great time at this adorable St. Charles home. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a nicely layed out floor plan that makes good use of the space. It was very quiet and peaceful. It was nicely stocked with all necessities such as shampoo, soap, body wash, towels, cookware, etc… if we return to Bear Lake, we would definitely stay here again. We had a great time.

This was a great house to rent. It is in a quiet rural area near Bear Lake. The house was clean, cozy and had a nice feel. It was easy to access and the owners were great to work with. I highly recommend this property.

Memorable

The communication between the owner and I was excellent, she answered all my questions. The property was so clean and decorated so cute! My kids did not want to leave! The location was perfect! North beach was 10 minutes away and grocery store is also 10 minutes away. When we come back, we would love to stay here again!

First visit to Bear Lake

We loved this vacation. The house is in a quiet, rural setting with views of the lake. It is as close to the North Shore as you can get - about a 10 minute drive. Or you can drive 15 minutes south and visit Garden City which has a fun, beachy vibe and lots of restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. My favorite details of the house were the balcony off the master bedroom - perfect for star-gazing, and the upstairs bathroom with round river stones for the floor.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay in the home. It has nice little rooms for the kids the play in and a nice deck to gather in the evenings when it is warm. The home does not have AC so it gets a little warm during the warmest parts of the day, but we were usually at the lake or on the deck during that time.

Whether it is boating, relaxing, snowmobiling or just getting away, we love every minute up there. We are hoping to help create fun memories for your family that you will never forget.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This property in St Charles is very conveniently located to everything there is to do in Bear Lake, not far from the action in Garden City but far enough to get away from the busy crowds and lines to do anything. St Charles has its own convenient store and places to eat around it. Its close to Minnetonka Caves, ATV trails all around, bear lake north beach only 4 miles away. The driveway makes it very easy access in and out with a trailer. There are two separate living quarters on the property also. Have more Guests that need a place? Reserve the home and the apartment above the garage. Its very clean and well taken care of. We are sure you will enjoy your stay here.
