The condo is located right in town, depending on the nights of the week you might hear the noise from some of the bars but in general is quiet. You will be walking distance from EVERYTHING.

You can walk pretty much to every corner of town and beach.

++++ATTENTION+++ Right now Guanacaste area is experiencing a big drought and lots of wild fires in the surrounding areas of town. Water shortages are very likely, all properties have reserve water tanks but we count on the city to keep the supply and tanks full. Keep it in mind while traveling between March - Sept 2024 thanks

We enjoyed staying at La Ventola. The unit we very neat & clean. What we really liked about the unit was its proximity to everything. 10 minute walk to the beach, grocery store right next door, within walking distance to many great restaurants. Would certainly return to this location

The property was excellent and situated in a fantastic location in Tamarindo. Andrea, the manager, was extremely helpful and responsive. I would definitely choose to stay there again.

We had an awesome two week stay in this condo, it was walking distance to the beach and restaurants (within 7 minutes), this unit was equipped with everything we needed and more! We are already looking into dates to go back!

Wonderful condo

We arrived late at night, found condo with ease, felt extremely safe, there are bars and gate to get into home The pool was great, spent plenty of time in it, easy walk to the ocean and two supermarkets within a few blocks Plenty of souvenir shops and restaurants to choose from, The co do was clean and had plenty of utensils in kitchen

Great place, Great Location

Truly is a great location. within a 5-10 walk from everywhere. Was great for our family of four, each kid had their own bed and plenty of room for all. Pool was wonderful, the pool chairs could use some updating as other suggested, but we spent most of our time in the water. A beach cooler would have been nice to have as well. It was a great week.

Fabulous family vacay

This was our very first international trip as a family and our first time using VRBO. Everything was exactly as described and perfect for us! We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Close to the market and easy walk to the beach. My only suggestion would be to have more lounge chairs for the pool, but that is not specific to the condo. We would love to return!

Everything we needed

We loved our stay here! It had everything we needed for a week in Tamarindo: comfortable and cool rooms, a nice kitchen good for cooking simple meals, and a great pool which we had all to ourselves, surrounded by beautiful trees and the sounds of birds. The walk to the beach was hot but definitely do-able. It was great being right next to the supermarket, Vindi, which we visited everyday. We also found great restaurants right nearby. Live music played late into the night so it wasn't quiet in the bedroom by the road, but Tamarindo seems to be a "party town" so we weren't surprised. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyable ....

We had an 8 night stay and overall it was a good experience. But there are a couple of items to watch for. The unit is as described but it needs some love in a couple of areas. The washer/dryer area needs paint it looks like the projected was started but stopped. Hand rail needs touch up, and a few other spots in the unit. Location: close to Vendi market, health club 1/2 block away, 5-8 mins. to the beach. There is a fair amount of traffic and construction vehicles walking distance to a number of restaurants. With so much activity you will hear music till the early hours of morning, either from the clubs or nearby units. The Pool area is small and only three lounge chairs and one is broken. Kitchen : well supplied with plates, utensils etc. Seasons not available small bag of salt. Overall price value was OK , but the noise at night, and number of small things add up to be worth paying more.

Dan thank you for your review, i will contact the administration about the broken lounge chair and yes laundry area has one wall that needs painting but we took the door to make it better for clients and i havent find the paint color on that wall. Regarding noise, this week you came was really bad as there was bpm festival going on and town was extremely loud and people partying all over. We appreciate your feedback and we will make sure things get addressed for renters coming up. Thank you again!

Quick stay in Tamarindo

Communication was great, condo was re-done and comfortable. I had never been to Costa Rica, and so I took 8 days and divided it up among different spots along the western part of the country. We stayed at this condo with zero expectations as we knew nothing of the area. I was surprised by how busy Tamarindo is! If you are looking for walking access to beaches and restaurants, this place is primo! And because everything closes early, the noise won’t bother you at night. (Everything seems to get quiet by 11pm) The condo has AC in every room- so don’t worry about trying to cool the house down after a day out with the AC off. I couldn’t get the shower to give me hot water, and they extremely quickly hopped over to check the water heater. It definitely helped, tho I think some user error was happening with the shower, because it still took me another day to get the knobs right. But that’s not their fault. Every part of Costa Rica had something different to offer, and if you need a place to cook some meals, and be walking distance to all Tamarindo has to offer, this place is a great value! (The dryer definitely needs repairs, but luckily it’s so high heat, we didn’t run into any issues) Thanks for letting us stay!

Renter Beware

I don't understand how Andrea could give us a review. We did not stay at her condo. She called us just seven hours before our flight to Tamarindo, Costa Rica, to inform us that she had double-booked our condo. As a result, we would need to find other accommodations for our three-month stay. We had booked the condo a year in advance and made all the necessary payments. In December, we had communicated with her and were assured that we would receive the check-in information.She quickly transferred us to VRBO support staff to handle our distressing situation wiping her hands of her problem. The VRBO staff tried to find us a similar location, staying on the phone with us for 2 hours on New Year's Eve. They were unsuccessful. I managed to find suitable rentals, although I had to move twice before settling into our beachside rental for two and a half months. VRBO assisted us in covering additional costs for our accommodationsOur condo was an upgrade compared to Andrea's because both bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms, and there was an additional bathroom downstairs. The pool and gazebo were nice to meet up with other guests. In the end, everything worked out well. My husband and I have traveled throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe, and we have never encountered an unethical manager. Therefore, please be aware that Andrea's statements and timelines may not be trustworthy. However, I encourage you to book through VRBO, as they are an ethical company.Pura Vida!

I went above and beyond to help you and offered you options and you declined it. I also was the one who took care of everything through vrbo to make sure they acted fast with you and help you as soon as possible so I dont appreciate what you are saying. Although I am happy you were able to find a place to stay and enjoy your vacation. Remember, sometimes things happen that are completely out of our reach and it is the way we handle things that matters. Great Condo and Location

Our family of four enjoyed our 9 days stay at this condo. It was clean when we arrived and looked just like the pictures. Having a pool was refreshing. We use it every day. The pool inside can use some work and perhaps some new lounging chairs. The WiFi works as long as you don't have four people using it and the TV is on simultaneously. Not much reception upstairs. The condo is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the beach. The Vindi Supermarket is a few buildings down from the condo, where you can buy snacks, water, fresh bread, pastries, and a cup of coffee. The ATM is located in the same location as the supermarket. Andrea, the host, responded quickly to messages and was very helpful. She set up our transport to/from the Liberia airport/condo. You don't need to rent a car to stay at this condo. We purchased a few excursions on the beach by Waffle Monkey, and they would pick us up and drop us off at the condo. We love Tamarindo, and we had an amazing vacation. I would recommend this condo to anyone visiting Tamarindo.

Wonderful Condo!

We absolutely loved this property. When we arrived the condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our 10 day stay in Tamarindo. It was within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach but you also get your privacy with this property which we loved. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to visit Tamarindo.
