Our expansive level shoreline, and wonderful sand beach are perfect for all ages. The lake is ideal for all water sports year round. There is also a private boat landing for your use. Fishing for all species is outstanding. Whether fishing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, or just relaxing by the lake, you’ll love every minute. Fall colors are world class. The Northern House includes a private dock, boat w/outboard motor, stand up boards, kayaks, a Lily Pad float and much more.

This home was carefully designed and meticulously decorated to provide a warm, inviting space for your family and friends. The spacious Northwoods interior provides an open style lakeside living area. The gourmet kitchen and lake view dining area are blanketed in natural light. Stainless-steel appliances include a full-size refrigerator, microwave, automatic dishwasher and electric range. The fully stocked kitchen cabinets are a dream-come-true for home cooks. The incredible lakeside deck offers a haven to be enjoyed throughout the day.

The Northern House has four bedrooms and two bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 12. The master bedroom has breathtaking lake views with a king bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and twin bunk bed. Bedrooms 3 and 4 have queen beds. Living room sofa is a pullout sleeper. There is a washer/dryer with linens and bath towels provided for your use. Please bring your own beach towels.

Amenities

Amenities include high-speed internet, 60-inch Smart TV, sand beach, incredible lakeside fire pit, free firewood, lounge chairs, outdoor dining, stand up boards, kayaks, lily pad float and a private dock with boat and motor. In the winter, snowmobile direct from to over 500 miles of renowned snowmobile trails. There is plenty of room to park your snowmobile trailer or it’s just a few minutes’ drive to snowmobile rental facilities. Meta Lake offers outstanding ice fishing. Eagle River is also host to the World Championship Snowmobile Derby and the United States Pond Hockey Championship which are 10 minutes away. Some of the best downhill skiing in the Midwest is nearby and it’s very affordable and family friendly. Sledding, ice skating, snowshoe trails and cross-country ski trails are also nearby. There are plenty of winter activities to enjoy while you take in the idyllic winter setting of the snow dusted Northwoods.
