Luxury Cabin with spectacular mountain views!

Location is everything and this stunning log cabin doesn't disappoint! Sweeping mountain views abound in this outstanding luxuriously furnished log home! 3 Huge decks (one on each level) showcase the spectacular Chimney Rock Mountains. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view, barbecue some steaks for dinner, or relax in the 7-person hot tub! In the home enjoy a spacious, fully stocked and beautifully furnished 2600 square foot 3 bedroom home on three levels. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need for a large dinner complete with new (March 2020) appliances. After dinner, adjourn to the upper level and play games with the kids, shoot a game of pool, or watch a movie on the large screen TV. Go for a walk around our neighborhood and marvel at the woods and enjoy the serenity of only 12 homes on a 1.4 mile loop. When you return home, head back in, or instead retreat to the back yard and sit by the firepit and cook some s'mores! Really, options for fun and relaxation are EVERYWHERE!

Each of the 3 bedrooms has a queen bed with new "lodge" decor linens. Each spacious room easily has room for an air mattress for additional sleeping if needed. If not, each room is set up for reading a great book or writing in your journal. Views abound from all rooms in the home. There are smart TVs in the Master on the main level and the lower level bedroom.

Location cannot be beat as the spacious 2600 square foot home is located a mere 1.2 miles from Lake Lure public beach and historic Lake Lure Inn. 2 miles to Chimney Rock shops and restaurants/bars. Get to beautiful Chimney Rock State Park in less than 5 minutes and enjoy one of the most beautiful State Parks in the Nation!

We also have a Pontoon Boat that is available to rent exclusively for guests of Tree Top Lodge (Rental fees are extra. please inquire if interested). The boat is a 2020 Suntracker 20 Party Barge and is located at the Lake Marina only 1.2 miles from the home. It's a great boat and easy to operate. Seeing incredible Lake Lure by water is second to none, not to mentioned great swimming and fishing opportunities for the family. (note - tubing is not allowed on Lake Lure) Update - Boat is currently not available until summer 2026

Such a cozy house with the most amazing mountain views! This home was perfect for our long weekend with friends. We enjoyed walking around the lovely wooded neighborhood, too. We'll definitely stay here again!

Hot tub worked well once the heat got going, but it took awhile for it to get hot on the first night. Rooms were clean overall, though none of the kids wanted to use the downstairs room due to a strong odor. Communication with the host was good throughout. Didn't realize that Lake Lure was undergoing repairs from last year's Hurricane damage as that would've been helpful to know in the initial description.

We really enjoyed staying here. It was nice and clean, the decor was so fun and cozy. Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with necessities. Loved having three different decks with beautiful views, and the hot tub was icing on the cake. Even though the house is not on the lake, it's very close and also close to Ingles grocery store and to Chimney Rock. Also, the owner was always quick to respond to our questions before our stay. We had no need to contact them during our stay because everything was great. We would absolutely stay here again!!!!

We had a really wonderful stay at TREETOP HOUSE! The views of the mountain from the main and upper porch are amazing! The home is very clean and inviting with all the comforts of home. The location is perfect for Lake Lure and Chimney Rock spots and easy access to other small quaint towns.Sean is a great communicator and a very gracious and generous host. He stay in contact without us to make sure we had everything we needed. His place is great for rest, re-charging and relaxing or a great place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing! We highly recommend Sean and his home for your rip to Lake Lure, NC.

Couples mountain getaway

The property was perfect. We were looking for a place to get away from kids and adulting for the weekend. Three floors, a floor for each couple. And, plenty of common area for games, TV or morning coffee on any of the 3 balconies. Highly recommend this place and next time we might even bring the kids.

Great Weekend at a great place with incredible views!

We just got home from a great weekend vacation at this house. Sean was super communicative and helpful. The house was super clean and cozy. And the views are so beautiful, including from the hot tub! We are grateful that we came across this great property and a wonderful host in Sean!

Beautiful Views, Terrible Smells

The views from the balcony were unbelievable. The area is nice and quiet with plenty of privacy.However the moment you walk into the cabin you are met with an overwhelming stench of cat urine. We later saw a cat door in the garage, so I suspect stray cats did their business in the garage. Some of the air vents lead to the garage, which allowed the smell to propagate throughout the house. Most dishware was dirty, so rewashing anything you didn't bring is a must. And finally, all three balconies were overwhelmed with carpenter bees for the duration of our stay. The views were nice for a few minutes at a time until we were forced back inside to the smell of cat urine.Had I known about the smell and bees, I would have happily chosen literally anywhere else.

The 5 night stay was very relaxing for all 4 of us. The many amenities made it a joy for each of us ranging in age from 7-49. The views are AMAZING.

One of the BEST

This cabin was really nice, very well stocked with everything. I would say its one of the best weve stayed in and we rent VRBOs quite frequently. Great location, great house!

The house is ideally located up the hill from Lake Lure beach and Washburn Marina, just a few minutes away from Chimney Rock State Park entrance. Also close by a large grocery store and several restaurants. The large back decks (three!) all had gorgeous views of Rumbling Bald. The billiard table and hot tub made for lots of fun times! Communication with the homeowner was excellent - great at sharing information, and responsive when I had a question. We rented the owner's pontoon boat for a day on the lake and highly recommend that: the boat is in excellent condition, easy to operate, and was a great way to spend the day. The house was amply supplied with consumables (paper towels, dishwasher tablets, etc.) and the interior very clean on arrival. The exterior areas had to be cleared of bug droppings and spider webs - but mosquitos were never an issue when we sat out in the evenings. One oddity to be aware of: the master bedroom on the main level shared that floor with the kitchen, dining area, and a sitting area but has a translucent pocket door: any early to bed types should be aware that light/sound comes into that room (and maybe opt to take the basement room, which was isolated from shared areas and had its own deck).

Mountain beauty

This home has majestic views that will relax you. The home is roomy and has everything you need to enjoy your stay..there really isnt anything negative to stay. There is alot to do in the area and delicious restaurants. I hope i get to return.

Quiet and Peaceful Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the treetop cabin. It was quiet and peaceful. Lots of space for everyone to unwind. Hot tub was great although the incessant heat kept us from using it a lot. We also rented the pontoon boat which the entire family loved! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an awesome getaway. Fast communication with the owners who were extremely helpful. Would stay here again!!!

Great Cabin!

This is our second time staying here! The cabin is beautifully situated and in an ideal location with a lot to be able to do near by. The boat is an awesome feature to which we were able to get quite a bit of use out of it. Overall, the cabin is very spacious and the hosts are so nice and easy to get ahold of, if needed. My only negative is that I noticed that it was a bit dirtier than the first time around. We noted dog hair all over all of the couches and such and some of the light fixtures looked as if they had never been wiped, other than that, it was wonderful!

Great location and view

This was the most convenient location for getting to Lake Lure or Chimney Rock and only an 8 minute drive to the grocery store. Beautiful mountain view without having to drive a long way up a mountain. I would definitely stay here again next time coming to this area.

Amazing stay!

Beautiful views, clean, provided plenty essentials! Absolutely amazing stay :) The only thing I will note is that you can hear everything through the floors so it wasn't feasible to enjoy the pool table while the toddler was sleeping, but definitely somewhere I would stay again!

When we first pulled up the road leading to the cabin, we were just blown away at the incredible views. The home itself is extremely well made and solid as a --- well a log!
