Cette charmante maison au bord du lac a une cuisine ouverte, salle Ă  manger et salle familiale. Parfait pour sortir aprĂšs une journĂ©e sur l'eau. À seulement 5 minutes du parcours de golf Bald Mountain, du Rumbling Bald Resort sur le lac.

Il y a trois chambres et deux salles de bains et demie au niveau principal et une quatriÚme chambre avec salle de bain au niveau inférieur.

Cette maison au bord du lac de 1935 est dans une crique calme et spacieuse avec une cour en pente douce vers l'eau. Le quai de bateau à double glissement avec un pont de 450 pieds carrés avec une vue magnifique sur le mont Rumbling Bald. Conduisez jusqu'à la porte arriÚre, ainsi que de trÚs petites marches vers le lac. Beaucoup ..... Grande maison du lac!

Lake life is wonderful!

We enjoyed our week at this cozy home with great access to the lake. My elderly parents were able to walk to the lake every day enjoying the view from the dock. The deck upstairs was nice and shady on days when it was hot and sunny. We think our dogs enjoyed it the most chasing balls in the water!

Relaxing getaway with college age children

When we wanted a lake vacation I immediately thought of this property we stayed at 4 years ago and had a wonderful time. It’s not a luxury property but it is comfortable and clean and has everything you need and more
plenty of beds, fully stocked kitchen, view of the mountains from dock, and you can see the dock from the house. Lake access is directly behind house and you can walk right into lake. We traveled with our college age daughters and two dogs and had a wonderful time enjoying paddle boarding and we rented the owners pontoon boat. We will definitely return again!

Family Fun

What a great vacation. Everything we needed was provided. LOVED the waterfront and beautiful views, and use of the paddleboard, kayak, pedal boat, splash pad, and also rented the pontoon boat. Made great memories! Saw deer in the yard. Even the dogs loved it. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Paradise on Lake Lure

We have rented numerous other lakefront houses on Lake Lure. The fact that this was our third straight year at this property tells the story about how much we love it. One cannot beat its close proximity to the lakefront; the very few steps one has to navigate; and the spacious, nice layout of the house and its amenities. Also, Jon and Gail are terrific hosts ! One cannot go wrong with rental of this property.

Pictures don’t do this listing justice!

This is one listing in which the pictures just don’t show how wonderful this house actually is! The house is spacious and there are so many outdoor spaces to enjoy. We loved hanging out on the screened porch and the dock. The house was super clean- I was a bit worried since it’s dog friendly (our dog is a huge shedder so we know how animal hair can affect a house!) The kitchen is well stocked and open to the rest of the living space. The driveway is super steep but not too terrible to navigate. The owners were super responsive and made the entire rental process extremely easy. If you’re looking for a relaxing Lake Lure getaway, this property is a sure bet!

Obsessed!!

There aren't enough good words to say about this property or Jon and Gail!! This is our second time staying here, but this time we brought my brother and his wife and also rented the boat and it was absolute perfection!! Jon and Gail were super helpful about everything, including all that was needed for the boat. The town of lake lure even tried to throw us a curve ball by lowering the lake by a couple feet to do maintenance work, which impacted the water level in the boat house, but Jon and Gail were quick to hop on a call with us to talk about options!! Needless to say, this won't be the last time we visit!! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time at the lake!!

Peaceful Retreat

The house and property were just what we needed to unplug and reset. The views were beautiful from the dock. The Bellows’ were wonderful hosts and supplied plenty of games and SUP for guest use. Chimney Rock Village was close and a great place to walk around with good local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolute Bliss

Jon and Gail's Lake Lure house was splendid. Nice quiet cove. Right on the water with easy access to the dock and water. Also had a ramp right into the water (heard at least one boater comment that they thought that was cool - and so did we!) And the owners were great to work with. Thanks for everything Jon & Gail! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! (as long as you don't take our week next year!)

Could Not Be Better

Second straight year we have stayed here. Will be back ! What a wonderful house in a great location. Clean, well-equipped, and so conveniently close to the lake Nice pontoon boat at the dock if one wishes to rent it and plenty of other water recreational equipment. Jon and Gail, the owners/hosts are so very nice and responsive. We highly recommend this property !

I don’t bother looking anywhere else

Simply, my family’s (and mine) favorite place/house we have ever vacationed at! Ithis was our second visit! ’ve kayaked (provided) a lot around that lake and I truly believe that these owners (who are delightful) has the best property on the lake. They are tucked in at the end of a cove allowing kids (and adults) to swim and paddle boat without the worry of power boats. And because it’s tucked away, you have more privacy than most, much harder for strangers to see into the house. Eventhough the house is tucked away, their boat dock sits out on the water just enough that one can sit out there and take in the beautiful Mountain View’s that lake lure provides and one gets to that dock by just a slight hill! Not the thousands off steps like other properties! I find the house very comfortable and we had 7 easily sleep there and easily could have slept more! It’s a blessing that we are so fortunate that the owners share their home, it’s such a gem. My only suggestions to fellow renters would be: if y’all are sun bathers like my hubby is, bring your own lay down lounge chairs; bring dry firewood for their new fire pit (it rained everyday so we didn’t have dry wood); and hide the modem cable as soon as you get there (that’s what I did!)

Perfect!

We chose a perfect week to stay! The weather was wonderful, it was very quiet and so relaxing. The property is beautiful. The screened in porch was our favorite hang out place. The only thing missing was a swing. Lol We were even offered early check in and late check out. We'll definitively stay again.

Great location to many areas

The bellows were super quick in their response to any questions asked. The view from the dock is breathtaking and worth the stay all it itself! We didn’t spend much time at the property as we were visiting family in surrounding areas but we enjoyed the time we did have there. Lots of fun on the lake

My family and I spent Thanksgiving here and enjoyed ourselves. The weather was nice enough we were able to enjoy actually using some of the many lake “toys” (canoe, kayak) provided for us. House is in a lovely location, and Lake Lure is a beautiful place. The owners are easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any question. We have zero complaints about anything.

Enjoyable weekend

My twin sister and I who are from different states just wanted to have some relaxing time together. This property definately fit the bill. The lakehouse was beautiful and well equipped. Jon and Gail were very friendly and helpfull. They communicated very quickly. The driveway was scary steep, but a normal thing in this area. I'm from Florida so I am used to very flat topography, But the owners were very helpful with that as well. Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well. I will definately mark tht as afavorite for any future trips.

Fall at Lake Lure

I had family over from England and France for a family wedding and after I wanted to take them somewhere to show them how beautiful NC is in the Fall. I couldn’t have chosen a better location and house. The views were breathtaking and we had so much fun on the lake in the canoe, kayak and paddle boards supplied by our hosts. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was so well stocked. Very clean and a good layout for a large group. We have already booked to return next July.

Lake vacation

This was to be a extended family vacation with 8 people. Unfortunately, due to illness and a pet accident only 4 people were able to come. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. The house was comfortable. Most necessities were there: dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, coffee filters, etc. The screened in porch and dock were where we spent the majority of our time. All the water toys were great. Daily canoe, kayak and stand up paddle boards were the routine. Would definitely go again.
