Pet Friendly Vacation Rental at Mini Moo Ranch - only 6 miles to WEC Ocala, Fl

Beautiful stay away from home. Our lovely 1/1 "barndominium" king bed loft is located above a concrete horse barn on 30 acres. Once you enter our gaited drive, there is a peacefulness that comes along with the fresh air and open space of our property. A casual walk through the center breezeway of the horse barn will lead to the upstairs loft accommodations. You will find beautiful hardwood ceilings and floors throughout, including the large bedroom with 2 walk in closets and King bed. A separate set of bunks can accommodate kids up to 110 pounds maximum. Our loft also offers a beautiful kitchen with views of the pastures, all stainless steel appliances and granite eat in counter. Bathroom shows off a perfect touch of country with a clawfoot soaking tub and shower. New GE washer and dryer. Open floor plan for kitchen/living/dining. A/C, Internet and TV included. Enjoy our outdoor lodge for cool night fires, marshmallow roasting or afternoons relaxing, overlooking the horses and cows grazing. Makes for a perfect relaxing point for the days end.

We do not offer horseback riding but we will gladly introduce you to our farm animals.
They are fun and relaxing to watch! And if you happen to see us out playing with or feeding the Mini Moos... if you'd like to join in and pet them and hand feed them a treat, just ask. They love to meet new friends. We raise miniature Hereford and Belted Galloways here at Mini Moo Ranch. They will spend their life as an equine companion or as pets. We do not raise for consumption. Our Mini Moos are full grown at under 39" tall, with some as small as 34". We do include a complimentary educational encounter to our Loft Guests.

Peace and Quiet

Perfect place to stay if you're looking to unwind. Spacious areas, indoors and outdoors, offer up relaxation. In addition to enjoyable conversations with the wonderful owner and visits to see the horses and cows, there is plenty of welcoming solitude among green pastures. Within 20 minutes there are plenty of restaurants, and Ocala's best kept secret (if you didn't know), the World Equestrian Center.

Fabulous Barn and Hosts

We stayed here whilst in town for our son's swim conference at the nearby FAST facility. Kellie was our host and she was fabulous - the world needs more people like her! She has such a great outlook on life and she loves her animals, that's for sure. She always had a smile on her face and she was happy to chat and show us around. We did enjoy coming back to the barn each night and saying goodnight to the horses and of course, a special shout out to Peanut (who never gets fed!)The barn itself is simply furnished, clean and had a wonderful collection of teas and coffee. The views from the windows of the green pastures were very refreshing for us city based people. We visited WEC numerous times with our dog and we enjoyed grabbing a pastry and coffee and sitting watching the early morning horse riding competitions, before heading to the pool to watch our son.We enjoyed lunch and dinner at the local airport restaurant Elevation 89.Thanks, Kellie.

Astounding

Kellie is an amazing host. She greeted us at the gate, showed us around the property and made us feel like family. The property was immaculate, to include the pastures and stable. The kitchen was well-stocked and only all natural cleaning products were on hand. Her animals were extremely friendly and cared for. She allowed our children to help round them up and feed them at dinner. Her husband Russ was very friendly and generous to share some history of the property and to ensure we had enough firewood to make smores one evening. We have stayed at several short-term homestays across the country and this property by far blew all of the others away. I would highly recommend this property. If we need to stay the evening in Ocala again, we will book this without hesitation.

Peace and Relaxation

Kellie was wonderful to work with and very accommodating especially allowing us to check in extra early. The property is quiet and the dogs enjoyed running in the fenced area. My wife enjoyed the hi sea and cows and we both enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Close to WEC and other areas of Ocala. If you want a peaceful getaway on a farm this is it.

Equestrian Get Away

We had a wonderful stay at Mimi Moo Ranch. The loft apartment was spacious, clean and well outfitted. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Kellie was readily available and answered all our questions. We loved the tour of the ranch and meeting her beautiful cows and horses. Ranch is very close to WEC as well as local parks for walking and kayaking. Highly recommend!

Mini Moo in February

My son and I took a trip to Florida to do a little scuba diving. When considering where to stay, I wanted to find something different, and Mini Moo Ranch was great! Excellent Stay

Stayed at Mini Moo with my teen daughter for horse shows at WEC. Highly recommend Kellie's place. Clean, comfortable, conveniently located and quiet. Lovely Stay

Adorable, tidy and delightful barndomunium. Kellie (the host) was responsive and kind. Loved the mini moo

Kellie is an amazing host. Met me for a late check in and was around to answer any questions throughout my stay. The barnminum is a lovely space with a large kitchen, adorable bath and comfortable bed. I loved watching the mini cows out the kitchen window in the mornings.  Mega heart’s ❀!

We absolutely loved staying at the Mini Moo’s Ranch! It’s not just a place to stay
 it’s an entire experience! The accommodations were comfortable and quaint. Upon arrival, the owner, Kellie, was there to welcome us, and each day, she invited us to learn about the animals and meet the new baby micro cow on the ranch (only 7 days old). We learned that all of the animals have the most adorable names and the friendliest personalities! My Mom and I had never been on a ranch before. Our experience was more than we expected! We learned so much from our gracious and knowledgeable host. Kellie’s love for her animals is quite contagious! If you book her stable retreat, this place is sure to melt your heart. ❀

Absolutely love Mini Moo Ranch!

What a beautiful and beautifully kept working ranch property. The loft residence is very nice, very large and has everything you need and then some. Peaceful, rejuvenating and extremely dog friendly and completely fenced in so my Aussie could run and play and explore off leash. The mini moos and their babies are adorable and friendly. Peanut, the mini horse is quite the cutie đŸ„°. I can’t say enough good and positive things about Kellie, the owner. I could live here!

Horse Lovers Dream

I can’t say enough about this unique barndominium! Spotless, well furnished and comfy beds (including the bunk bed)! The best feature, for me, was waking up early and going down to the stables and visiting with the horses. Kellie let me tag along while she fed her horses and put them out to pasture. She also answered endless questions about her dogs, horses and mini moo’s (they’re adorable). Kellie gave tips and suggestions for things to do in the Ocala area. The World Equestrian Center is a “must see”, even if you’re not a horse person. I would highly recommend the Mini Moo Ranch and hope to go back with my grand kids.

Go meet Tinkerbell and Peanut!

Mini Moo Ranch in Ocala is a magical and relaxing place. Kellie is an amazing host with lots of knowledge about Hereford and Belted cows. The apartment above the 6 stall barn was spacious and inviting, the perfect home away from home. It was so wonderful to spend time there and with all the wonderful happy animals. They all made my birthday very special indeed.

Absolutely loved every second

A camping trip to Disney Worlds Fort Wilderness was eye opening. While watching our dogs and seeing how relaxing it was to have space, led to our property. Ocala is the Horse Capital of the World, and I'm a past and present equestrian rider... so it became our target area. We started with 10 wooded acres and grew to 30. We have cleared, designed our barn and it's 1300 square foot spectacular barndominium loft, added out buildings, hiking trails, pastures and our home. Adding horses and miniature cows, our love for animals and the environment have created the perfect setting. My husband and I welcome visitors to our Ranch, equestrians for the months long HITS and WEC events, as well as families looking to experience waking up on a farm... away from the city. We don't offer horseback riding but can head you in the right direction just minutes from our property.

We are a working Mini Moo Ranch, raising miniature cows for horse companions and people pets. They also serve as really cute pasture ornaments. We will be happy to introduce you to our herd, and super little ones if it's baby season when you are here. They are quite therapeutic to just sit and watch.
We introduce everyone to the world of miniature cows and share tidbits of fun facts. We invite you to come along any morning or afternoon to feed them treats with us, pet them and take pictures. We are home to the smallest Hereford bull on record, standing full grown at just 35".
And if you are a bird watcher, we've had guests tell us of sightings of our hawks, owls, wild turkeys and eagles.
We're not just a great place to stay, but a place you'll want to come home to and enjoy.
