Il n'y en a pas beaucoup ... Profitez de votre jetĂ©e de pĂȘche privĂ©e Ă©clairĂ©e, assistez Ă  des levers de soleil spectaculaires sur le Golfe et Ă  des couchers de soleil sur la baie de Little Drum. Et le meilleur de tous, si vous apportez votre bateau, vous pouvez lancer et vous garer Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la rampe de lancement privĂ©e pavĂ©e et laisser votre bateau garĂ© Ă  notre embarcadĂšre privĂ©.

AchevĂ©e en juin 2008, cette maison a deux trĂšs grands balcons couverts faisant face Ă  Little Drum Bay. Regardez les enfants pĂȘcher sur la jetĂ©e Ă©clairĂ©e pendant que vous vous balancez dans le futon conçu pour accueillir deux adultes. Lisez votre livre prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©, faites une sieste ou sirotez votre boisson prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©e tout en regardant les couchers de soleil spectaculaires.

À l'intĂ©rieur, vous pourrez vous dĂ©tendre dans le plan d'Ă©tage spacieux et ouvert conçu pour accueillir des groupes de toutes tailles. La cuisine a des appareils tout en acier inoxydable. Les cuisiniers gastronomiques aiment pouvoir prĂ©parer leurs plats prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©s, Ă©couter leur musique prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©e tout en admirant la vue sur la baie.

Trois chambres sont à l'étage mais une est en bas pour les arrivées occasionnelles tard dans la nuit ou les ronflements de papy.

La plage est Ă  seulement 1, 5 pĂątĂ©s de maisons. Chargez les chaises, le parapluie et la glaciĂšre et dĂ©posez-les sur la plage pour construire des chĂąteaux de sable, faire de la planche de surf, pĂȘcher ou tout simplement vous dĂ©tendre et admirer la vue. Lorsque vous rentrez chez vous, rincez-vous sous la douche extĂ©rieure Ă  l’eau chaude et froide.

À la fin de la journĂ©e, vous pourrez jouer Ă  des jeux de sociĂ©tĂ© en famille, vous asseoir Ă  la belle Ă©toile, faire des smores au-dessus du feu dans le foyer ou regarder des films ou la tĂ©lĂ©vision.

Parmi les autres activités proposées, vous trouverez des restaurants locaux, du golf putt-putt, Moody Gardens, le parc aquatique Schlitterbahn, le musée des forces aériennes confédérées et The Strand, une zone commerçante de classe mondiale à Galveston.

Beautiful home and location! It had just about everything we needed for our stay! First time ever staying at a vacation rental and it was definitely worth it! Even though it rained the first couple days of our stay we had plenty to do while we stayed at the house! Thank yall for sharing your home! Make sure and bring some kind of mosquito repellant.

Family beach vacation

We enjoyed the home. There were seven of us Ian’s we had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful views of the bay. Enjoyed fishing at the pier and we look forward to visiting again!

Grandson’s wedding

Families from Iowa and Wisconsin gathered to help with and attend a wedding. The kitchen had what was needed to prepare meals and food for the families and a rehearsal dinner (off site). The large dining table was appreciated. Beach and bay activities ARE the best of both worlds. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was very clean and contained everything you you could need for a comfortable stay. I was impressed by how well the kitchen was stocked with accessories necessary to cook any meal. The beach was only a two minute ride and there was a hot/cold shower to rinse off in before entering the hose. The entire family enjoyed the stay.

Amazing Family Getaway!

We had an amazing time here on our summer vacation! Our party of 12 fit very comfortably in the home. Everyone had fun fishing and the beach, which is less than 3 minutes drive away, was clean and beautiful. The Surfside Market is five minutes down the road, which came in very handy for water and supplies. Loved our time here and grateful for the great communication with the hosts. Thank you again!

Excellent fishing retreat

Right in the center of great fishing spots. Fish drum bay from the private dock or take your boat/kayak up to the connecting Christmas bay just a couple miles away. Also from the cabin if you turn left on blue water hwy it’s only 10 minute drive to San Luis Pass. Or turn right and drive 10 minutes to the Freeport jetties. The cabin itself great

Best of both worlds!

We love this home on the bay and across the street from the beach! The kids enjoy crabbing right from the deck and the house has crabbing traps and a canoe for the guests use. We have been here many times and after this trip the entire family agreed this is our favorite VRBO rental!

Overall, it was a really nice trip. The only thing wrong was the faucet in the upstairs bathroom was broken. The owner did state it was ordered and would be replaced. Bring your off, the mosquitos were bad.

Grandkids meet the ocean!

Our family had a great time fishing off the dock and visiting the beach. We had a crab boil, which was delicious. There was even a brief visit from an alligator. The kids loved getting to see different species of crabs in action. We were a little disappointed that the launch next to the house was only big enough for kayaks, but everyone still had lots of fun. This place is great for a family gathering because it's close to Galveston and Houston and the beach and fishing!

Great Stay!

We highly recommend this home! It was beautiful staying right on the bay and out of the hustle and bustle of the city! We enjoyed the dock and sitting on the upper patio watching the sunsets! Our grandkids loved riding their scooters on the patio and it was great being so close to the beach! Most days the beach was pretty empty so we felt like we had it all to ourselves! We would love to stay again!

Fun for all ages -- fish, crab & beach time! Highlight may have been the grandchildren's 1st crabbing experience off your dock which resulted in a crab boil & as well, some very proud little girls (ages 5, 7 & 8). Thank you for sharing your bay house.

Wonderful Gulfside Property

My sister and I were surprising our parents with a trip to the beach and this was the perfect place for us. We took family pictures on the pier, got sunburned on the beach, went fishing and enjoyed the day. I didn’t see a fire pit but with the weekend being so humid and mosquito-y we didn’t spend too much time outside except the last night when we went fishing. If we ever went back to the gulf this is where we would stay.

Great House

Very clean and not a single bug indoors, in response to a recent review. The beds were comfortable and the house has everything you may need. Very fast internet and DISH network. My husband and son caught several redfish from their kayaks. We plan to return.
