5 BR lake house with dock

Glad you all had a good time. We also noticed that side of the house to be a little warmer than usual, and found out there was an issue with the A/C unit. It has been repaired. Thank you all for the review and look forward to renting to your family again!

The cats are from neighboring homes. Animal control has been notified. Surroundings are out of my control. The cleaning service went back in after your review and seen no sign of black mold or any mold. This property is listed as pet friendly. I have no knowledge of any cats inside the home with previous guests. If you would have contacted the number provided, I would have been more than happy to resolve this or help your experience, but you did not reach out to us at anytime regarding those issues.

Sir you called and said you we’re checking out early, which was 1 day from your check out date. Before you hung up on me, you claimed the place was not cleaned. However, based on my inspection and the other owners inspection there was only one bed that had a few spots of dust that had been missed. What I did find upon my inspection were several spots of scratches on the floor where your party scared the floors moving the bed without proper furniture supports. There were a couple spots where your animal peed on the rug with out being cleaned up. Also you left a large area on the dock stained with blood from filleting your fish. Your carelessness required us to spend money to buff and restore the flooring, and several attempts of shampooing your pets urine from the rug. I did not refund you any money, in fact I should have kept a portion of your security deposit which I did not. The kitchen and appliances are less than a year old, with a compete remodel in 2020. The kitchen utensils are obviously used quite a bit from guests, but are in good condition. When you arrived early, you expressed your concerns with the muddy lake. One of the owners explained to you the recent flooding that washed out bridges and roads the day before you arrived. We were unable to mow the yard during the several days of severe weather. Unfortunately we cannot control Mother Nature and what she leaves behind. Your were not happy that the conditions of the lake as this would keep you from fishing, but again we have no control over the muddy water. We are always willing to work with our customers when problems arise; however, somethings are out of our control. We expect our renters to take care of our property as if it was their own. As we ensure the property is well taken care of for our guest! Thank you Fred, take care!
