Upper deck could use some repairs and not having a washer/driver was a bummer but the location could not have been better. Will definitely stay again. Maybe even a weekend if the prices would match the weekday prices. Way overpriced for weekend stay. Also, needs a tv upstairs. They are only a couple hundred bucks so seems cheap to not have one giving how much the rental costs. I stand by the 5 star rating though. Fantastic location!

Beautiful cabin that fit 9 adults very comfortably. Huge and private back yard for any activities you desire. Spacious and clean interior as well. Pictures are accurate to the real thing. Would highly recommend.

Quiet Woodland Get Away

Peaceful private comfortable. We were so grateful the air conditioning worked for all levels with the 90 degree heat. My sisters were at a different large cabin and struggled with the air keeping up with the heat. Beds comfortable and bathrooms clean. We loved the hot tub. Kitchen well stocked with dishes. We saw deer out our window in the morning. It was so hot so we didn’t use the nice fire pit and chairs or run in the yard with the chair swinging and picnic tables. The kids enjoyed the games. The TV upstairs reception was great. The frig ice machine didn’t work and downstairs TV wouldn’t turn on. In the evening we tried to move to the basement for less noise for kids. The bunk room for the kids is outside the main floor TV and can be noisy for sleeping. We had a wonderful time visiting. Overall excellent!

Quiet and peaceful

The house was everything they said. Very clean, comfy beds, very lovely setting, and close to all the main caves and trails. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the Hocking Hills. Great communication with the host as well.

Refreshing Weekend

This home easily had enough room for 8 women. We had plenty of room to sleep, lounge, relax, shower, and get ready. The location is super convenient if you are looking to go to the state park. The view from the back porch is stunning. The kitchen was stocked with useful amenities. Plenty of parking! The only three reasons why this is not getting five starts is because the beds were pretty uncomfortable (all of them), the ice maker didn’t work, and there could definitely be more seating in the living room.

Family girls weekend

Property was beautiful and relaxing. The description was very accurate. The location was great. Plenty of space for the 8 of us. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend despite the rainy weather. Would definitely rent this property again.

Fantastic rental to explore Hocking Hills

We had such a great stay at this lodging! The property is very private and secluded but was only minutes from Old Man's Cave and under 15 min to get to most other attractions in the area. There are 2 decks that overlook a gorgeous green space with several swings and picnic tables. We saw deer on the property and also heard coyote at night. The outdoor fire pit is large with plenty of seats and twinkle lights. The hot tub was such a delight after a long day of hiking. Having multiple bathrooms on different floors, made sharing with other couples very easy. We used the kitchen to cook and it had everything we needed plus a large dining room table. Check in was very easy and we appreciated the key pad entry instead of managing physical keys during our stay. I highly recommend this rental if you would like privacy and want to be surrounded by nature but also be conveniently located to everything.

While the weather did not cooperate for much hiking or an outside fire, we had a great stay. Enjoyed the hot tub and played a lot of games.

While there was an issue initially at check in, the host was super communicative and rectified the situation very quickly. Everything we needed for a girls weekend was there and made our stay amazing. Would stay here again!

Hocking Hills centerpiece

Gorgeous landscaped property with many luxury features as described. Location is perfect especially for us this trip just around corner from hocking hills state park the headquarters of our family reunion. Building and property design, inside and outside spaces, work so well together. Great segmentation in living quarters to give separate couples and families their own space and to easily come together. Very highly recommend for travelers to hocking hills region.

Absolutely 5 star!

The Cave & Creek vacation rental definitely merits 5 stars! The property is in a lovely, quiet setting close to the Hocking Hills State Park. The house sits well off the road, at the end of a long private drive. It is perched on a hill with views over the beautiful, very well-maintained grounds and the little creek which runs along the edge of the lawn. There are great outdoor gathering spaces on the main deck, on the ground level patio, and in the sweet, newly done fire pit area. There is even a small screened room which would be great in bug season. The hot tub was a nice bonus, too. Indoors, the house is very clean, well-appointed, with tasteful decor and some nice art work. There are two big sitting areas and a big dining area. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms seem relatively newly renovated. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Tip: get your provisions before you get to the house as the closest convenience stores have minimal supplies. Overall, the house was a great place for a few days of gathering, laughing, cooking and eating great food and, of course, hiking in this magical area!

Great Stay

Everything was perfect for a stay! There is plenty of parking, the property is just off the road enough with plenty to land to have privacy, the Wi-Fi is fast, and the house lives up to the pictures. We felt so at home here and would definitely return!!
